• Is it possible to define the ID 5 as default application for INDD files?

  I use Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), and I upgraded to ID 5.5 for the 30 day trial. As I don't know if I want to keep it, I want to keep 5 ID as the application associated with the INDD, as opposed to ID 5.5 files. Is this possible? Currently, when I click on a file to open it, it opens automatically in 5.5. I tried to set the default application in the "Get Info" Panel (please see attached screenshot), but it does not seem to stick. I know that a workaround is simply to open 5 ID and then open the INDD FILE via file > command OPEN, but it would be easier if I could open the files directly by clicking on them in a Finder window.

  I tried dragging the bar formatting keyboard without result, and there seems to be no software button that provides this feature.

  My old workaround is to simply turn Bluetooth on / off power via the control center.

  With the release of the iOS 9.3 that the ability is added to bring up the soft keyboard on the shortcut bar when a hardware keyboard is connected in the arrow button. This is a really interesting feature. But when the user is not pressed the button the arrow but accidentally hit the button, the shortcut bar will disappear and do not appear until you restart the application.

  Proposed implementations
  1. Add the ability to collapse or expand folders and their subfolders, otherwise users with many records will have to scroll down whenever they want to find a certain folder
  2. Add the ability to import Gmail filters after that that they have been exported from there
  3. Add the ability to rename subfolders by using the syntax of the tree (folder/sub folder) or (file > subfolder), or allow users to drag and drop the subfolders in a different folder

  I have developed applications for BlackBerry 6 and 7 for the last 3 years, but I am very new to BlackBerry 10. I know that most of the developer would like BB 10 is something new. I have about five years of experience in the JAVA platform, but unfortunately BB 10 is not supported it unless you develop applications for Android and the port at 10 BB.

  When I checked the list of programs that are supported by BB 10, I saw C/Cpp, Cascades, HTML5 and action script among them. But which one to choose? There is where I am confused. I don't have any experience in the above mentioned technologies. If I select, I need to learn from the beginning. When I went through a few posts, I got to know many people prefer to develop in HTML5, as it is a cross-platform technology. But many have said that it may have problems of performance and the native technologies like C/Cpp, waterfalls will be the best options in terms of performance.

  Can anyone suggest me the best technology to start with BB10?

  Cascades is based on Qt, which is a cross-platform C++ library. It encapsulates many low level BB Native API - s for easier use, but you still have direct access to these APIs if necessary. C++ syntax is similar to Java, so it shouldn't be too difficult to pass. I suggest choosing stunts.

  Claes has pretty much nailed. You will do well to spend time to learn how Lightroom works. He is not like most software that you've used before, and if you don't understand what it does and how it does, you stand a good chance of losing your images.

  Try googling 'Lightroom tutorials' or 'get started in Lightroom. It's not rocket science, but it's different.

  The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

  Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

• Want to change the WordPad default values for font size and line spacing

  I use WordPad quite heavily because it is simple and fast.  But the new version of W - 7 seems to not allow you to change the default values for the font, size and line spacing.  The default values are not suitable for a large part of what I do and I'd like to find a way of quickly and easily, either make the changes permanent or change this to open with a single click of mouse or at most two.  Any suggestions?

  It is the "best" solution to workaround.  After you change your Default.rtf custom, simply move it to your system32 directory and add the "Default.rtf" at the end of the location of your target on the property sheet for your file WordPad.exe.

  Every time that you open its default location in the directory c:\program files\windows NT\Accessoires WordPad.exe, it defaults to now your Default.rtf custom.

  QuickTime is pretty useless for a broad category of video files. It's a waste of time having to specify which application I want to use to open a video file each time (I understand how to do this, but I try to avoid having to do each time.)

  Right-click on the file, select read. To the bottom of the window that appears is the spectin open with. Select the drive you want to use, then check the box to make a default value for all files of this type. You will need to repeat this step for each file type.

  Let me guess you have installed Acrobat last.

  In any case, here's what you do:

  Open Control Panel > Control Panel Home > default of programs > set Associations. Select a file type from the list and click the change program.

  Suddenly, I am unable to choose Photoshop CS6 as the 'Open with' default app in Win7 when I try to open JPEG files.

  I updated Adobe Application Manager and he said Photoshop CS6 is installed and I am able to open Photoshop CS6 without receiving the error 'trial version' more - even if it was a problem until I upgraded to AAM.

  I was able to change the default value of Viewer Windows for Photoshop photo on my Win 7 machine successfully. The steps that I followed:

  1. Open the control panel in the start menu.
  2. Mine is located on the top ' view by ' category. I clicked on (green link) programs.
  3. Under default programs, I clicked on the blue link to "make a type of file always open in a specific program.
  4. Wait for "Loading."... ». at the end make sure that the list is sorted by name and scroll down to ".jpg". Select it and click the button "Change program...". ».
  5. Do not see that Photoshop listed in recommended programs, to do this, click the small triangle right of other programs. Choose Photoshop and click on the OK button.
  6. Wait for the list to reload and confirm the association has changed.

  Note that you probably need to change this for .jp2, .jpe and .jpeg too in addition to some .jpg.
