  The first thing you need to do is to upgrade the power supply (PSU).  The current PSU is only 250W.  It is not enough to run a new intermediate level video cards.  They require a minimum of 400W.  It would be a good idea to buy at least one with 500W.  This will give you more choice of cards.  I love the Corsair and OCZ PSU.  I always suggest measuring the current PSU and comparing measures to whichever you choose.

  You should stay at 9 "or less for the duration of the video card.  This ensures that it fits in the space provided.  You would need a larger case to go further.  I like XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  The two cards in the links can be inserted into the computer and they will be good for the games.  Be sure to read the 'Détails' and 'Clients' to learn more about each of them.  I'm looking for products that have more than 100 customers and are at least 4 eggs.  Normally, this will be a very good product.

• Suggestions to maximize the performance of loop of RT

  I've attached a screenshot of a small portion of a RT data acquisition and treatment program. This loop treats 1 second blocks of data from a FIFO RT but very rarely (about once per day) the loop is slowing to the point where he is not able to track the data blocks 1 second coming from the producer loop (not shown). Normal loop iteration time is about a half a second, but when he falls behind, iteration rate slows down until almost 2 seconds and does not recover.

  I finally bit the bullet and improved Mavericks with El Capitan and who now have to deal with pictures. I understand that pictures is designed to look like my iPhone and the iPad, but I don't store 64 000 photos on my iPhone. I'm not interested in using iCloud, so the fact that the Photos work well with iCloud is questionable. I got my photos carefully classified into events in iPhoto, often also the keywords tag and gathered in the smart Albums. I know that these events still exist on the sidebar in Photos, but I can scroll is no longer if they visually, using the key photos to see what event I'm (and scroll through a list of 450 events in a sidebar is quite heavy). There is no way to quickly scroll through my large library AT ALL. When I look at the years/collections/moments 'organization', it looks like big piles of photos, with no logic in how they are organized. You can not just get a representative of the group photograph, he must see all (& they are so small, that really nothing appears if you go at times for each & every group).
