SuperDrive for MacBook Pro 13 inch
I need to replace the drive in my MBP, since then, I'd like to get something more current, what should I look for in a player that fit and work?
If you want a new internal DVD drive, you will need to go to Apple. It will install the same drive provided with the MBP when new.
External DVD drives with different features like the Blu - Ray are available from third-party vendors:

Best case for Macbook Pro 13 inch with Retina display
I was wondering what the best case was for my purchase of a Macbook Pro 13 inch with the retina display. I am a student of the school and will walk to school with her in a compartment of my bag. It might be high everywhere, but he must be not so bulky that I also have school books. Any suggestion?
If you are specifically looking for a shell, then I recommend the INCASE ones, just go to the apple store and get my things for Mac they have a feeling of fluidity buttered and are pleasant to the touch - as the Apple trackpad - it simply snaps on and snaps off when you want off the coast. If you are looking for a Holster, I recommend the slim sleeve incase. It has a soft interior for your mac are not destroyed (its aluminium-what worries you - you did you buy Care, haven't you?) and has a spot for the port of loading.
I hope this helps!

Charger for MacBook Pro 13 inch, late 2011
What charger for MacBook Pro (13 '' end 2011) since the megasafe 60w charger is no longer available?
Thank you very much for the help.
According to find the right power adapter and cable for your laptop Mac - Apple Support end 2011 MacBook Pro 13 "uses the following http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MC461LL/A/apple-60w-magsafe-power-adapter-for-macbook-and-13-inch-macbook-pro?fnode=8b which shows it as being available (at least in the United States).
If this is not available, note that you can use an adapter of higher power such as mentioned in the following extract from the first link above:
Adaptors for Apple laptops are available in 29W, 45W, 60W and 85W varieties. You must use the adapter appropriate for your Apple laptop power supply. You can use a power adapter higher compatible without problem, but it will not collect your computer faster or work differently. Lower power adapters do not provide enough power.

On crucial.com, I chose my system I, mid-2012 MacBook Pro 15 inches. I want to move to 8 GB of ram, but I want to know if their DDR3L will work. On their site it says DDR3 is 1.35 volts and the DDR3L is 1.35 volts as well. They are both the same speed, 1600. What is the difference between the two and the DDR3L will work? My current ram is DDR3 4 GB and the speed is 1600. Thank you.

I can't watch the airplay for HDTV icon mirrored on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010)
I can view the icon airplay on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) for HDTV (trying to film on TV laptop project).
Need help please, I checked my network on Apple TV, updated and verified system preferences and downloaded the demo of AirParrot2.app (this project DID on tv via AirParrot but the movie was uneven and deferred on the tv then sound was not lined up).
Hi csaszardesign,
Please visit Apple support communities.
It seems that you are not able to use AirPlay Mirroring of your MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) to your Apple TV. Some use AirPlay to display video from your Mac to a TV high definition, looks like AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or later MacBook Pro:
Required to use AirPlay
If you go to the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on monitors and do not see the option to "See the mirroring of the options in the menu bar when it is available," your Mac does not meet these requirements.
Minimum requirements if your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network:
- Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest version of the Apple TV software
- For mirroring of your screen to display your desktop, one of the following computers Mac with OS X Lion mountains v10.8 or later version:
Minimum requirements for peer-to-peer AirPlay, which allows visitors to quickly and easily connect their Mac or an iOS device to your Apple TV without getting the passwords and connection to the network Wi - Fi:
- Apple TV (3rd generation Rev A, model A1469 or later version) with the latest version of the Apple TV software
- Mac with OS X Yosemite v10.10 or later version (2012 or later)
For help AirPlay of Quicktime or Safari for your Apple TV, see the instructions and the "Get help" section in use AirPlay to display video from your Mac to a TV high definition.
For the reflection of your Mac on your HD TV, I suggest you to use the TV as an external display by using the Mini DisplayPort connection. The information on these links can help with getting started:

I'm considering buying a MacBook Pro 15 inch. I use programs such as Stata, for big calculations. What is my best option?
Either of the 15 "MBPr come with 16 GB of RAM and because it appears that RAM is paramount for Stata then one of them should be able to manage it.
Is the portability of paramount importance for you? If this isn't the case, you might consider an iMac. You get more for your money from a laptop to a desktop computer. In addition, the RAM on the iMac can be improved if need more later. From what I've read on Stata resembling an important consideration.

MacBook Pro (13 inch, early 2011)
I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, bought in early 2011).
The specifications are...
OS X Version 10.10.5, Yosemite
MacBook Pro (13 inch, early 2011)
Processor: Intel Core i5 to 2.3 GHz
My Mac has the ability to me safely upgrade my system for macOS Sierra?
If you have 2 GB of RAM, so apple says,
otherwise realistic if you have 4 to 8 GB of RAM the rest of use would probably say it's a safer bet.

Question about webcams with Macbook Pro 13-inch, mid 2010
Bear with me as I am the most fundamental basic Mac users. I am currently using a MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2010) with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 I don't use Skype or FaceTime or something like that. Recently, I joined an online course in which they said I need a webcam, headset and microphone so that I can communicate with my instructor and discussions in class.
I have really no idea what hardware inside is on my laptop. Is the built in camera something that could be used for this purpose? Or do I need to buy these separately three elements to make this work? And if yes, are you easy to install and can anyone recommend something good, but also low-cost as possible.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Your built in FaceTime, camera is sufficient. This is the idea. outdoor cameras are mostly a thing of the past. If the internal webcam is broken, an external is always an option repair vs.
You may need their proprietary software to connect to their course however

iMac G4 as a secondary screen for MacBook Pro
I have an old iMac G4 which I would use as a secondary display for my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2012).
My guess would be to use the VGA port and port G4 mini Thunderbolt of the MBP but can work?
And what kind of cards can I use?
Thank you very much
You must configure Virtual Network Computing.

Adding RAM for MacBook Pro 13 inches without retina
Hey,.
I want to buy a MacBook Pro 13 inch without retina. The description says that I can buy the version with 4 or 8 GB of RAM, but I wish I had 16, at least. Is it possible to put a 16 GB of RAM on a MacBook Pro 13 inch without retina?
Let me know, thanks!
If this is the model of non-retine of 2012, then you can install 16GBs of RAM, but not by Apple. Then buy the 4 GB model then visit OWC to buy two 8 GB modules to replace the two accompanying him.
Maximum memory (Real) 16 GB 8 GB (Apple) Memory locations 2-204-pin PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM The above is for 2012 non - retina 13 "model.
