SWF file contains Ref. local dir structure

Newbie here; I'm sorry.

Flash CS4 Professional, version 10

Creates a simple video flash to get wet feet. In the process, I'm drowned.

I created the video with Flash (ActionScript 3.0) by inserting a player object and specifying an f4v source that I created using the Media Encoder CS4 to convert a wmv file. nothing to it.

Publish an extract worked fine. Publication/Publication settings created the necessary files, as described in tutorial Flash 411:
http://TV.Adobe.com/?TrackingID=EBYHH & SSP = fl_10.0.0_win_en_full__PF_20040226 #VI + f1527v1000.

Video works fine on my local PC (XP, SP2). But when I load it on my server, it does not work. In IE 7, loading the page. the source code is there, but the window is empty: http://www.bbhq.us/pva1.html

Adding to the .htaccess file mime type does not solve the problem. Change the permissions for the files was not, either.

It is apparently not a server problem. A simple swf file created by Mr. Gates and HTM simple coding works: http://www.bbhq.us/flash3.htm

Mr. Gates, that knows that I don't have?

Well, where to start?

However, when I loaded my file- http://www.bbhq.us/pva1.html - in FireFox 2.0, I got a blank window, but also the revealing error message:

SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file http://www.bbhq.us/pva1.swf cannot access
local resource F:\pva1\pva0117a.f4v. Only local - with file system and
reliable local SWF files can access local resources.

at fl.video::VideoPlayer/load()
at fl.video::FLVPlayback/doContentPathConnect()

Which tells me that the swf file has my original directory location and name (s)--f:\pva1\...--incorpore in there. No wonder!

However, I don't see where in Flash I Specifies a directory structure for my video, other than, of course, when I specified the original video to add to the Player component. But somehow, the swf file again the structure of directory under the file names. This boat is not floating.

Help Adobe don't throw me a life jacket; He threw me a lead weight, instead.

Must be parameters to publish somewhere, or miss me something obvious that I can't see.

Goin ' down here for the 3d time. A little help here, please.

Thank you.

Thanks for your quick response. But he left me still treading water.

Yes; got to the Inspector of content; The settings that I see are:
align
AutoPlay
cuePoints
islove
Overview
ScaleMode (ScaleMode)
skin
skinAutoHide
skinBackgroundAlpha
skinbackgrundcolor
source
volume

There is no property/setting contentpath.

This is help page refers the contentpath that you referenced:

http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Flash/10.0_UsingFlash/WS0ED77F00-2006-49aa-8399-92B6D5D8CE00.h tml #WS9A834D6F-8206-4e07-B840-456EF90C03CB

He described the contentpath as you suggested:

"contentPath (AS2 files) string that specifies the URL of a FLV.

The reference to AS2 in parens jurisdiction suggests that this setting applies only to the AS2 files. Or, perhaps, this setting is not applicable in CS4, version 10. I donno, but I of course do not see it in my version of Flash.

However, you and the help page throw me a lifeline. The f4v file already loaded on my server, I changed my project, specifying, as the source parameter, the name of my file fv4 when it is loaded on the server - http:www.myserver...fv4--pas file on my local PC. When published Flash project, he uses the name, without reference to my local directory...

Of course, the f4v file must exist on the server for him to publish correctly.

Who did.

It makes sense, but it is certainly not obvious and it is not explained in any documentation I found.

Am I the only one to whom it was not obvious?

Thank you; you led me to a solution.

  • SWF file plays fine locally, but not online

    Hello the Flash community,

    First of all, thanks in advance for any idea or support, you are able to provide.

    Here's my problem...

    I have a very basic Flash animation I created. Here a link to a copy of the SWF file on my website: http://www.comrent.net/flash-2-0

    The film seems to work fine in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox or Google Chrome.

    Here are the details:

    This is an announcement of ranking, and like I said, it's pretty basic. I have a simple motion tween and then a series incredibly looooooong nested clips that create the effect of a meter (like a mounted fast jackpot).

    I'm not really connected with the intricacies of ActionScript, so I could not encode something more elegant. The 'meter' is supposed to represent an increasing amount of money that do not use our services could cost a company.

    Those dozens, hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands use a simple extensible clip. hundreds of thousands use one that is 10 x more for a long time, and so on. I had to stop at 1 million, the number of frames between numbers being excessively long.

    that is, there are 10 images between the numbers for the place of hundreds of thousands in the film, 100 images for millions and 1,000 images for millions.

    It's probably a TERRIBLE way to achieve this effect, but, as I said, I'm a newbie to ActionScript...

    Think the problem could be due to the incredibly long movie clips, I removed the animations from some of the highest numbers of my film and it doesn't seem to affect if he plays in Firefox or Chrome.

    If you have CS4, it should generate disguising code, so when you publish the swf file, also have publish a html file and use (copy / paste) the code it creates in plkace of what you have now.  There is a chance that it will be a file external javascript to be included in the files that you download or create the head section of the html Flash file will be loaded with the js code you will need to also copy on your page.

  • Loading the local swf files in Dir Application (ios)

    Hi guys,.

    I want to load additional local swf files for my ios Release version but I'm a bit confused because of changes in the API again.

    As far as I know at the moment (3.7 Air or newer), it is permitted to load local swf files containing actionscript compiled from local file and a remote host that is predefined as well.

    My assumption, based on this article:

    http://blogs.Adobe.com/airodynamics/2013/03/08/external-hosting-of-secondary-SWFs-for-air-apps on ios.

    I created the text file to include all my names swf local and created the next node in the application.xml file:

    < iPhone >

    .

    < externalSwfs > assets/SampleSWFInfoFile.txt < / externalSwfs >

    .

    < / iPhone >

    When I compile the release build (ipa) using the adt command line, it converts all my local SWF files in naked sovereign wealth funds which is perfect, but even if I include all SWFs in the compiler command, it takes only the SampleSWFInfoFile.txt file in the current folder in the ipa, but not swf files.

    I guess, he thinks I have will load these files from an external host, but I want to include them in the application itself.

    I tried to copy files swf stripped in the externalStrippedSwfs folder and comment on the assets/SampleSWFInfoFile.txt < externalSwfs > < / externalSwfs > node application.xml and he and this way, he puts the SWFs in the ipa, but when I try to install and launch the application, it hangs and when I test it using Flash Builder he displays a compilation error message

    «VerifyError: Error #1042: not an ABC file.»

    Anyone of you guys know the solution to this problem?

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    You are the publication in AOT mode as long as you use one of these:

    The AIR Developer Tool ADT a target that allows you to package applications or for the mode of the AOT or interpreter. Targets for packaging in AOT mode are ipa-app-store, ipa-ad-hoc, ipa-test and debugging of the ipa.

    Flash CS6 Pro and Flash Builder automate this process well enough so it's invisible, but the SWF file loads and runs the code very well for me when directly published.

    If I take it on the command line, I can use this to compile successfully (test iPad application):

    ADT-package - target the ipa-ad-hoc - stores pkcs12 - keystore my.p12 - implementation service-profile my.mobileprovision NameOfApp.ipa NameOfApp - app.xml iTunesArtwork SWF/SWF/GenerateText.swf swfs.txt AppIconsForPublish iTunesArtwork@2x NameOfApp.swf

    I include at a minimum the generic icons in there, but I did a "SWF" folder and placed "swfs.txt" and "GenerateText.swf" there. The SWF file uses code to generate random text and change every second using a timer. I load using the same code as you do with the context ApplicationDomain.currentDomain. I see appear the SWF file and text begin to change randomly.

    As I compile there is a generated file called 'externalStrippedSwfs' with the stripped in that SWF.

    One thing to note is that I provide no SWF/swfs.txt in my settings of the iPhone. If I do that it does not. I provide the path to the text file containing the SWF I want be stripped to adt itself as well as funds sovereign I want stripped and he takes care of the rest.

  • Manipulate swf files that contain multiple images

    Hello

    I'm trying to manipulate a swf file containing multiple images inside, but I can't image of it.

    The detail of what I mean is:

    I imported a swf file to a cast member. Then, I created a sprite on stage with the contents of this member. Finally, as I need to zoom, I made a copy of the Member image using the command "copyPixels" and the content is displayed without problems on stage. So far so good.

    The problem appears when the swf file contains several images. If I move for them (using for example getToFrame (sprite (num), 2) to go to the second), on stage, it shows the corresponding image without problems. But if I do a "copyPixels" using the reference to the Member when the SWF has been on scene is always displays the first image.

    I tried to make a copy of the scene when the sprite shows one frame other than the first, but this option didn't allowed me to get the picture, which indicates that the property is not available.

    Any idea of solution?

    Thank you.

    I used the command that you offer me

    and solved my problem.

    Thank you very much.

  • Loading of local swf files with actionscript on air for iOS

    I apologize if this seems like it has already been asked, but I'm not sure that having understood the answer, not on the Adobe site, or elsehwere.

    I am developing an app for iOS, targeting the last 3.9 SDK

    I have a main swf file that loads the local swf files. These local swf files have code actionscript in them. I use Flash Professional CS6.

    I publish the application successfully and everything's fine. When I start the app on the iPad, is the main swf and all is well. When I click on the button that loads the local SWF files, nothing happens. They are not loaded.

    It seems that this has been answered, but I'm losing my mind. I don't know what the problem is. I know that, in version 3.9 Air, it is now possible to load local SWF files are actionscript.

    Air for the Android version works perfectly with these local files loaded and unloaded like a charm.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    from the air, 3.6, you can load swf with actionscript and that run actionscript.  before 3.6 air that was not allowed (without additional work).

    but your charger must provide a loadercontext object that uses the current applicationdomain:

    var lc:LoaderContext = new LoaderContext(false,ApplicationDomain.currentDomain,null);

    yourloader. Load (yourexternalswf.swf, LC);

  • Slider component does not not when loading another swf file

    I have a simple Flash app that uses a Slider to increase or decrease the size of text in a TextArea (ta). It works perfectly well on its own, however, when I try to load the SWF from another application, I get the following error...

    ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property fl.managers:IFocusManager::form not found

    {
        tf
    .size = slider.value;
        ta
    .setStyle("textFormat", tf);
    }

    Pourrait swf file containing I'm loading the SWF of cursor indeed anyway demand of cursor? I do not understand why it works on its own, but not when loaded from another application.

    Add a component slider in the library of the main SWF (loading).

  • Using swf files compiled as swc into a project of ios

    Hello

    I have a quite stupid question, but I'm going anyway since its not easy on iOS.

    I have 10 swf files (each file is 1 game with all the assets + as3 inside)

    I now have an iOS (air 2.7) application that can play these 10 games on selection.

    Normally on iOS its not allowed to load swf files with AS3 inside because you can't use interpreted by Apple.

    Now, on http://www.flashrealtime.com/compiling-big-air-swf-to-ios/ , I've read some info on something to use CFCS.

    Here's my question now.

    If each of my 10 swf files contains in fact 1 movieclip on the stage that, by itself, contains all the game logic (as3) and assets inside, so can I compile these 10 swf files to a CFC and somehow included in a big iOS app?

    For example

    game1.swf the main movieclip would be onstage and exported for actionscript under the name "game1_mc".

    game2.swf the main movieclip would be onstage and exported for actionscript under the name "game2_mc".

    game3.swf the main movieclip would be onstage and exported for actionscript under the name "game3_mc".

    game4.swf the main movieclip would be onstage and exported for actionscript under the name "game4_mc".

    ...

    So I can somehow include all swc inside my 1 big app files?

    And can I then somehow instantiate one of these movieclips and add them to the displaylist to start a game?

    This could solve a big problem for me, but I'm not sure if this is possible.

    Kind regards

    Bart

    Ultimately you have these things included in the main file, and the tips on this page may be more oriented towards users of Flex. If you use the Flash, you could go to each of the SADF and copy the movieclip draws in sound and paste it into the main swf library. Set it to share for ActionScrtipt and use a unique name. For example, you can set the name of the symbol shared at level 1. Then in your main code where you would normally load in the external swf, say you:

    var levelmc:MovieClip = new Level1();

    addChild (levelmc);

    It should work just as well as the whole thing be swc.

  • Load an external SWF file without overwriting my container SWF (AS2) file

    Hello world

    I want to load an external SWF with AS2, but file without overwriting my container file. How can I achieve this? What is the correct code?

    Here is the code I use :

    loadMovieNum ("external.swf", 0);

    countdown = function() {}

    trace ("OK");

    }

    countdownIt = setInterval (countdown, 1000);

    It works well, but as I said, it overwrites my container SWF file. If I load into level 1, my container file works but not the one I try to load... .

    Can someone help me with this, please?

    Try to use the loadMovie method... meaning container.loadMovie.  See below for an explanation: Load external in another SWF SWF

    If the loaded file does not work when you load it, it is probably because you have references to _root in there who do not find the expected _root.  You must set the file loaded _lockroot property to be true.

    When a SWF file is loaded it will stop just on its own screen of loading (loading XML files).

    Probably something related to security?

    How can I fix?

    Is a bit urgent... deadline is coming...

    Thank you!

    It is probably related to a path problem.

    What is contentURL?

    If it is anything other than swfname.swf, you have a problem.

  • My .swf files that I joined using Dreamweaver do not play in any browser, online or local...

    I created a website in Dreamweaver (cs5.5).  (I created the swf file in flash cs5.5 also) (I also have the latest flash player)

    There is here a test version (there is no images, but there is the .swf file and another from/Scripts/directory, created by Dreamweaver when I imported the swf file, the /test/ directory

    When I use the preview in browser, Iexplore and Chrome feature, I get a grey area where the movie should be.

    I used Dreamweaver to import the swf file. I do not encode anything myself.

    Online, there is simply no flash animation that is where it should be.

    When I double click the expressInstall.swf in windows Explorer I get a security alert saying that Flash Player blocking expressInstall.swf contact fpdownload.macromedia.com.

    and I can't figure out how to change this parameter (that is if it's relevant).

    I have the same problem on other computers, I don't know what else to do outside the post here.

    Would be grateful of any help.

    This is a line in the Flash embed code that caused a lot of problems:

    The swfversion "11" doesn't seem to work. Change to 10 and give it a try.

  • Need to control the scaling a swf loaded when called from a file containing swf

    Flash Professional 11 (build 11.0.2.489)

    Problem: when a SWF is loaded into a SWF containing the swf called scales to fill the window. When the stand alone SWF is played from a HTML or SWF format, it does not adapt and display correctly. I tried to adjust the dimensions of the stage, publish settings, etc. nothing works.

    My swf container has a Clip called contentContainer and three buttons. The buttons just addChild (selected swf) and removes the current swf child.

    Is there a way to control the scaling of a swf file loaded into another swf?

    The relevant code after calling the functions of office is as follows:

    function onCompletePreloading (): void
    {
    contentContainer.addChild(_swfClipsArr[0]);

    IntroButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, setContent);
    drilldownButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, setContent);
    EnterDatesButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, setContent);
    }

    function setContent(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    var _swfToAdd:MovieClip;
    {switch (event.target.name)}
    case "IntroButton":
    _swfToAdd = _swfClipsArr [0];
            break;

    case "drilldownButton":
    _swfToAdd = _swfClipsArr [1];
            break;

    case "EnterDatesButton":
    _swfToAdd = _swfClipsArr [2];
    break;

        }

    contentContainer.removeChildAt(contentContainer.numChildren-1);
    contentContainer.addChild (_swfToAdd);
    trace (_swfToAdd.customID);

    }

    instead use:

    contentContainer.addChild (_swfToAdd);

    use:

    addChild (_swfToAdd);

    or, if you use this parent to a design:

    var mc:MovieClip = new MovieClip();

    mc.addChild (_swfToAdd);

  • How can I keep someone to access my data when they run a local SWF file system file

    I tried to look at cross area, but that seems to work only when a person runs from a network sandbox.

    If someone is running in a local with sandbox network, how can I keep their access to the data on my server. I want it accessible only by the swf file when it is run from my site?

    This might work.  I don't know a lot about technologies server side, but I thought that the HTTP request header has the applicant field so that your server cannot be denied, it is on this basis.  The local sandbox do crossdomain check but I think that your server which can detect in the header.

    For that you must have a web server if you are using Windows you can have IIS or you can choose a free like Apache

    You start the Web server and place the swf file in the wwwroot directory, then you will be able to access using

    http:// page1.swf

    Now when I want to open a SWF with Windows Media Player, it pops up a window "your current security settings do not allow this action".

    How to use watch the video in Windows Media Player swf?

    Hello

    SWF is a file format for multimedia, vector graphics and Action Script in the Adobe Flash environment. Origin with future Wave Software, then transferred to Macromedia and then coming under the control of Adobe, SWF files can contain animations or applets of varying degrees of interactivity and function.

    SWF functions as the dominant vector "animation" on the Web for graphics display format. It can also be used for programs, games by browser commonly, using ActionScript.
