  I have a model having a div (#footer) as a non-editable area.  When I add a swf file to a div above it (#flash), the #footer div moves in Dreamweaver, but seems correct in all browsers I saw in it.

  But the footer moves only in Design view in Dreamweaver, right? Just ignore it if it works fine in your browser. The footer is probably mobile to design due to a CSS stylesheet to float somewhere in your CSS, design view of Dreamweaver just can't wrap's head around...

• More recent flash player do not open any SWF files

  I am a teacher and am having problem opening files SWF student. I believe that many of my students are still in Flash CS6 or maybe CS5.

  
  I have Flash installed CC. It seems that my Flash Player is 11.7.700.169. But I also have Flash Player 11.4.402.265, which is what I understand the Player Flash CS6?

  When I try to open their SWF to display, it closes immediately. I can open the. Fla. fine, although when this has happened, it looks like students used TLF text, and I get a message from Flash CC: it is not supported. But if they did anything with fonts, I did not, I do not see their work as expected. This is an intro class, so they have not really learned about the integration yet.

  My hunch is that the TLF text will not work in the most recent Flash Player. But I wonder why the SWF does not so in agreement with the 11.4xxx version.  Any ideas on what I can do?

  1. If they are not embedding fonts and you don't have a font that is used by one of your students, you will not see their project in the same way they see.

  2. that said, you should always be able to see their sovereign wealth funds.  Simply open a swf file (or better, integrating html) in a web browser that has a flash player plugin...

• Order full screen doesn't work when a swf file is read on another frame.

  I have a .exe file that has about 90 frames. All executives work very well with the command "full screen", BUT when I click on a button to access a framework which calls a swf file to a specific position on the stage and a specific size to full screen, the swf goes to the size of the regular phase. AND when I get out of this framework, it is not back to expand full screen Command.

  My first assumption would be, because you said it's been 7 years, this person is using ActionScript 2.0. If you load an AS2.0 doc in a doc AS3.0 who will have limited functionality.

  Try to replace the 7 year old SWF you load quickly with a mannequin made AS3.0 placeholder and see if the problem goes away. Chances are it.

  For many years, I would download the htm and swf files in my FTP.  Then, I would like to make a link to the htm file and it opened the Flash file. I don't really know if this is the best method, but it has always worked.  At least with an earlier version of Captivate.

  I made a new animation Flash with Captivate CS4 and the htm file would not open the Flash file if I moved the files in the folder where the project has been published. What is really weird, is that while it would open the Flash file in the folder where I have published the project, as soon as I copied the files to another folder, or on the FTP, it wouldn't do anything.

  Here's the real question.  If I point my link directly to the .swf file, it opens the film.  What is the right way to open the Flash movie?  Should I make cela all along?  Also, do you think that this might create problems, movies opening with certain browsers or operating systems?

  No, open the SWF file directly is not the correct way to play a Captivate content.  A typical Captivate movie often requires other elements and programming code that is provided in the HTM file or in the JS file.  If you use a LMS system, API JavaScript SCORM code inside the HTM file is essential to communication between the film Captivate and the LMS.

  Your question to content do not play when the moved from a given file is probably due to the Flash security not implemented for the second record.

  Do some googling on the topic of Flash global security.  You will need to add any folder location where you copy content Captivate on your hard drive of the PC as a trusted location in your Flash Player Global Security settings.

  problem I encounter are:
  
  1. create a button that allows the user to browse the file. Once the file is selected, it only shows the full path.

  I've been shooting RAW for awhile and have notice that after I import the images and then begin to view in the library Module, I see a light color and quarter of quality - almost looks like a shift in the balance of whites, but not quite.   I thought that maybe there was some preset automatic applied but I do not have all of the presets.

  I'm shooting with a Canon 1DX and 7 d.  I have not checked to see if I get this situation with the 7 d, but I know for sure that I understand with the 1DX.

  Today I have passed through a few images in Bridge and decided to open one in Camera RAW.   At that point I found out that the Style of the images of the camera settings are available, faithful, Standard, Portrait, etc..  I noticed that the images did not camera styles applied to them, but rather the Style Standard Adobe have. At this time there in RAW I chose one of the styles of the camera and the bingo that's the kind of change that I see when I first discover an image in the library of LR4.

  So I can say that the RAW images are becoming the Adobe Standard style applied in LR.   I don't know if it's a default behavior of if I did something to make.  I think also that maybe LR not necessarily applies Styles of the camera automatically even if the particular style has been in the camera - is perhaps not imported as part of the metadata during import and so the default Adobe Standard.

  I guess what I need to know a few things and I hope that someone can educate the beginner!

  1 should I expect LR4 to apply the Style in the game of the camera automatically or not at all?

  2. can I prevent LR to apply the Adobe Standard Style and apply no style?

  3. can I cause some LR apply the Style as set out in the camera for the particular image to be appied automatically when importing?

  Today, I noticed that I built my application after a few changes in the code and Firefox and Chrome do not reflect the changes. Sound like they are stuck in the previous version.

  I have this work very well to my laptop at home, but I need this working for school projects.

  Whenever I want to open a SWF file at home, I just double click it and open it in Adobe Flash Player (Adobe Flash Player 10.0 r22) and I have no problem!

  However, when I'm at school I have to run in Internet Explorer, the file SWF, Adobe Flash Player IS installed, but the SWF files are opened directly, they are opened in Internet Explorer.

  At home

  If I right click on a SWF file at home and select 'Open with', and then "choose default program...". ", Adobe Flash Player is already there under the name" Adobe Flash Player 10.0 r22 ", so I can select the default value. (On my laptop at home)

  At the school

  The standard Flash Player is a browser add-on and not a standalone player.  So what in fact opens when you open a SWF file at home?  Flash Player projector?

  If so, you must also download in your school, to http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html, then make the file association.

• Manipulate swf files that contain multiple images

  I'm trying to manipulate a swf file containing multiple images inside, but I can't image of it.

  The detail of what I mean is:

  I imported a swf file to a cast member. Then, I created a sprite on stage with the contents of this member. Finally, as I need to zoom, I made a copy of the Member image using the command "copyPixels" and the content is displayed without problems on stage. So far so good.

  The problem appears when the swf file contains several images. If I move for them (using for example getToFrame (sprite (num), 2) to go to the second), on stage, it shows the corresponding image without problems. But if I do a "copyPixels" using the reference to the Member when the SWF has been on scene is always displays the first image.

  I tried to make a copy of the scene when the sprite shows one frame other than the first, but this option didn't allowed me to get the picture, which indicates that the property is not available.

  Any idea of solution?

• Flash getURL links work when SWF is embedded to the Director?

  I have a simple test platform that said no, the links no longer work. All this works?
  
  My test bench includes two buttons in Flash, you get a PDF from a remote server, the other opens a PDF locally on my hard drive.
  
  When played from the Flash drive, the local link works fine, the remote link looks like it would work if I was willing to change my security settings and restart.
  
  When they are incorporated into the Director both links are inactive.
  
  And, even if it is not terribly relevant, when the SWF file is read remotely via a browser, the remote link works
  

  Your Flash .swf is expected to be housed in a HTML doc, and so a getURL function is tried to reach out to the browser. When you import your .swf in a film by the Director, the film's Director takes the place of the browser window. If your function does not in a browser. This is compounded if you play the .swf from a Director projector because there is no immediately available browser.

  There is a simple solution. You can use the getURL me, string function in Director to intercept the url.

  So if your Flash animation has something like this:

• Audio does not play when discovers .swf in the browser

  I don't really know why the path is relative the HTML instead of the swf file.  but it's even worse: there are some things that are relative to the swf.  I don't remember what they are, but eventually the files called by the loadvars or urlloader class.

  so, you can always try both if your path doesn't work.  (btw, you use the debug version of flash player so you can see that you have a path problem during the test in your browser.)

  but the html file contains code to integrate the swf file into the html page.  then, I call it the html integration.

  in any case, all's well that ends well.  I'm glad that you have solved that problem.

• Convert SWF file to HD video

  I have a big problem. I did a second 10 animation in Flash CS5 and exported in a swf file, but my customer asks me one to convert it into a video file with this requirements:

  • Size: HDTV 720 p. Pixels (1280 x 720). 30 FPS. (frames per second)
  • : Stream format: HDV - HD1. Stream type: MPEG-2. Transport

  Stream (TS). Aspect Ratio: 16:9. Britate Type: CBR (Constant flow).

  Number of passes: 1 Video Bitrate: 18300

  I tried some conversion programs to do the job:

  • iWisoft Flash SWF to Video Converter
  • E.M. Magic Swf2Avi
  • Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 6
  • Total Video Converter HD

  Each one recognizes the SWF very well, (I put in place the FLA with 1280 X 720 pixels and 30 frames per second) but when I try to export to a video format with the earlier specifications using all programs, I get a very slow video, are not smooth at all and sometimes a great video with + 2 minutes (supposed to be only 10 sec). The swf file plays very well.

  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

  Just open the FLA of original project, file-> export-> AVI movie (uncompressed) and set the dimensions you mentioned. After getting the movie exported from flash, convert that AVI (already the size appropriate) to the size you need.

  If you have the Adobe Suite, then you have Adobe Media Encoder. It supports MPEG2 (HDV - HD1 is just a specific set of parameters for MPEG2). It is really easy to configure. No reason to pay more software if you already have it.
