SWF in FireFox problem

See the link below in FireFox, then in another browser, and you will see that there is what seems to be a break after the two SWFs (one is 'matrix' display, the other is the menu).

I have accumulated my brain, scanned the code, tried different methods, but can't seem to solve this problem. I don't know what is the cause. Both files were inserted in Dreamweaver, using its default flash code object, and the only thing that has changed is the wmode, which is set to transparent. Help, please.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

This is caused by the fact that you use a design of the table accordingly.

Unfortunately (for you), it would probably take more time to fix the problem and keep the function table design, as it would to convert one based on standards css design.

Briefly, you need to compensate your table design to accommodate gaps you see in FF, it would likely have a detrimental effect on the layout in IE well.

  • Firefox problem with Captivate 2?

    Hi all
I went through these forums and on the Web for a solution to my problem, but none will be presented. I use Adobe captivate 2 to create a simulation. I publish the simulation as a SWF with HTML. I test on my local machine in Firefox 1.5.0.9 and with Internet Explorer 6.0.29. Everything works fine on the spot. If I put it on the Web, everythign works as expected in Internet Explorer, however with Firefox, the shortcut key 'Enter', that I have assigned to a text entry box does not work. Nothing happens. Does not proceed to the next screen, does not display the legend of failure. For the sake of curiosity, I tested this problem with an old sim card I created with Captivate 1. The problem is not with captivate evidient 1. The problem seems to be attached to Firefox, Captivate 2 and access to the simulation on the Web. (Unfortunately, I can't provide a link to the problem, as it is a secure site, and which would involve giving you a password in order to release the material to the company. They would not like this so ;))

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, because this problem has left me speechless.

    Thank you

    Hi all

Thank you for your response. I found the solution. I assumed the standard.js file published by captivate was to suppress the warning flash IE. However, no calling not this file in my custom HTML page, load the SWF file has caused the key of the entry in Firefox problem.

  • Firefox 34.0.5 cannot print correctly. I checked all the pages on firefox problems and still can not solve the problem.

I use 34.0.5 with Windows 7 and that you cannot print correctly. In print preview, it appears in a label size. I double checked all my settings in firefox and my preferences from the printer, I checked all the pages on firefox problems and still can not solve the problem.

I was able to finally solve the problem, but I had to do a complete reset of firefox. Thank you for your time.

Can't print emails Yahoo. Is this a Firefox problem? I can click on print and e-mail opens in a new window, but when I click on print in the upper part of this new window it sounds right. The only other option on this window is "close this window".

To test how Firefox works no 'custom' on your system, could you experience in two minutes?

    Create a new Firefox profile

A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

Out of Firefox and start in the profile using Start Manager > Search box (or run):

    firefox.exe -P

Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

You will click on the button create a profile. I recommend using the suggested default location (do not click the button to choose a different folder). Then launch Firefox in the new profile that you have created.

You can get the print in the new profile dialog box?

If so, it is probably a problem with one of your files, settings or extensions. If not, your installation of Firefox is maybe damaged. Rather than insert pages of instructions at this point, could report you on the results of the test first?

When you return to the Profile Manager to return to your normal settings, you might be tempted to use the button to delete the profile. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

  • Div around swf in Firefox dashed border

In Firefox 6 (6.0.2) there is a dashed div border appear in the swf file in the HTML file that Captivate 5.5 publishes. Adding < div id = "CaptivateContent" > style rules like border border: 0: no preview: none are not touching. I found some info on this as a bug in Firefox 3, for which the proposed solution is object {outline: none ;} } but that does nothing. It is only in Firefox 6, not in IE or Safari, so definitely a CSS problem and is not part of the SWF file. I have not used Captivate before this version, so I don't know if it is a new issue. Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the tip remove the HTML code of things until he went. It turns out that the issue is in the javascript code. This bit:

gives focus (and so the dotted line) to the swf itself named "Captivate" object (should not be confused with the "CaptivateContent" div). So the dotted line was located on the swf, not a div I couldn't see. When I deleted this section of the javascript, the dotted line went. I have restored and then added this to the CSS:

    {#Captivate}

    outline: none;

    }

    Who did the trick!

  • Dreamweaver preview swf in firefox

So I created a simple banner located at the top of my page in Flash CS3, it exported in a SWF and then went into Dreamweaver (CS3 also) and went insert > media > Shockwave and incorporated into the swf file in a a set of DIV tags

When I saw in firefox, there is a blank space where the swf file should be, and in Internet explore it's all just a white box. I'm sure that there is a fairly simple solution, but unfortunately, I am not quite qualified to understand it myself. If it helps, I use Flash player 10 on XP.

Also; the attributes of the div CSS are 1024px wide, long 255px and margin in the auto value. The SWF is 800 x 255, so I don't think that there is a problem with the size!

    Thanks, Dan

    Hello

Yes, you can create a div in a div to do this, don't forget not only the swf flash "will be upwards" of the image, place behind her, (should not be a problem in this case because that's what you want).

  • Alignment in Firefox problem

I have a business Web site www.rove-n-ramble.com , it works fine in ie and chrome. But not in firefox (38.0.5). The main problem is in the part of cursor. The cursor almost out of the page instead of in the middle and so ugly. PL. help me in this regard.

This happens usually if there is not a clear CSS rule for this element (container).
This causes Firefox to begin to make the cursor immediately after the menu and not at the beginning on the next line.

  • Firefox problems after refresh problems

I did the "Refresh" asked Firefox, but now have multiple problems.

    (1) under Google to Yahoo search engine. It is a royal pain that Firefox provides no easy solution. Should be the basic option.
    (2) lost my homepage - fixed
    (3) when I reduce Firefox, he died. Must he reboot every time.
    (4) pins tabs are not remembered in the sessions
    (5) does not appear as active in the Windows taskbar

EXTREMELY frustrated by this "update of the performance.

Hi SDJ1, to change your default search engine, click on the magnifying glass to the left of the search bar, then "Edit Search Settings" at the bottom of the Panel that goes down. More information: use of the search bar in Firefox.

These symptoms are intriguing for me:

    (3) when I reduce Firefox, he died. Must he reboot every time.

    (4) pins tabs are not remembered in the sessions

    (5) does not appear as active in the Windows taskbar

On #3: Remember to always disable Firefox to use hardware acceleration? After the update, it is reactivated by default.

You can check the updates of your Intel graphics drivers by following the steps in this article: update your drivers graphics to use hardware acceleration and WebGL.

However, if this does not help, I would try to disable hardware acceleration here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it again. Any difference?

On #4: We remind the tabs pinned as part of your tabs and windows open. Is anything get restored? I assume you are using history > restore previous Session if you not automatically restore your previous session. (Restore previous session - configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs, windows and)

If you have pinned back before tabs without having to restore your session, which could have been manipulated by an add-on.

On #5: I can't think what would cause that, unless the problem is that, after the closure of the last window, Firefox hangs and continues to run instead of closing completely. In this case, you get a message from Firefox that it cannot start because it is still ongoing, but there is no tiling/button/tab on the taskbar.

You need to use the addon of mega assets only the addon, go to Tools > > Addons > > Extensions are looking for Mega and check if it is active, then just look for an archive on the internet for download via mega site, then addon is needed to download from mega but it is not a Manager
