SWFVerification without restart/reboot the server

I was now two occurrences of SWFVerification is not activating when the values are added to the application.xml for a client application.

We allowed him with an empty dir, and any player will always through.

I tried to add a "is not not-really-the - player.swf" to confirm that he will reject all other connections, and they always get through.

I tried to reload the Application, and which also had no effect.

In a previous proceeding, only after the virtual server is restarted, SWFVerification will start to work.

This question quite important for us - as we host 100 s other connections of client application on several boxes that make SWFverification is not just simple 'reboot' these boxes.

Any suggestion on how to get SWFVerification to work without having to restart the virtual server or FMS itself?

Thank you.

-Va

Figured it out.

From what I saw. the Admin "unloadApp" command is not an effect the SWFVerification. However, "reloadApp" seems to indulge the SWFVerification on a modified application.

    Is this true?

Does this mean that, after the program is installed, you must reach the restart button? Or press 'stop' and then again wait a minute and then be able to save the PC?

    Hello

Often an installation or uninstallation of will need to reboot to complete and it never hurts except for the
    time it takes.

    A reboot is usually sufficient.

    Hello

I have a little problem here, on my adobe connect server.
When I restart my server adobe connect service became unavaible (failed to connect).
After checking the breaks and services of SGF are well launched.

And when I start the console on http://localhost:8510 / console service become available immediately without having to manually restart the services.

Does anyone have any idea on this?

    Windows 2003 R2 Standard SP2
Acrobat Connect Pro SP3 company 6.3,40
    SQL Server 2005 SP2

OK, I think I solved my problem!

In fact my Acrobat Connect Pro server is a Proliant DL380 G2, so a little slot size for Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro.
From the beginning of server, windows cannot mount the MSSQLSERVER service fast enough to meet the adobe connect request.
This leads to an error in authentication since the database is not mounted, Connect, then refused to respond to web requests.

I have created dependencies between services to resolve this issue.

    I created a REG_MULTI_SZ in the registry.
    Key name: DependOnService
    Value: MSSQLSERVER

    in

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BreezeApp
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FMS
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FMSAdmin

It seems to work, I try 4-5 restarts and the adobe connect service if available immediately, without the console from the beginning thing.

    Thx for the help.

  • How to reboot the server Oracle Rac?

Kind of beginner to the CARS, just started?

I know that the order to stop it.

    Instances of database 1 stop

2 stop the Services on the node database

    3. stop the node level apps

    4 stop the Listener

Can someone let me know the order to restart?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Instances of database 1 stop

2 stop the Services on the node database

    3. stop the node level apps

    4 stop the Listener

    1. If you stop instances of database - community services which if accessed by client customers that it will get the problem (they would say that they are unable to connect to your databases). The Central battery will go into an abnormal state - compared to your normal startup and shutdown procedure (reason for that since your listener are always up and try to provide services (services database).) Maybe they cannot provide the service because the database is out of service. If you need to stop your stack of middle ware initially.

    2. after the middleware stack you must work on the stop of the listeners and services (which is logically the scoop of cluster and data bases - right at the bottom) with other dependencies.

    3. then, you can stop the database followed by the applications node.

    4. Finally cluster ware

  • Restart ColdFusion 11 Instances starts does not correctly after the server

Hello, we have after the situation and can't seem to find a fix or a workaround for it. Could you help her?

On all 4 of our Windows Server 2012 R2 servers running on machines with 8 vcpu hearts vitrual each, we have 10 instances running ColdFusion 11 update 6, instances are the same on all servers of 4, 2 servers are used for testing/qa and 2 for production. On all these servers, after restart servers sometimes starts correctly and need to be restarted manually to start working. It seems that, on average, at any time, instances of 2 to 4 starts not and those who are not the same bodies every time. We look at the log files and we believe that we found that the issue is, but not sure how to get around it, or fix it. When proceedings begin, the following error appears in the log files of the bodies that will not start correctly (see the bottom of this post for the actual journal entries):

    13 October 2015 07:52:25 warn org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog

    {WARNING: ServerConnector@69f41e78{HTTP/1.1 FAILED} {0.0.0.0:5500}: exception java.net.BindException: address already in use: bind

As you can see in the logs below, actually startinstances, but when someone goes to CF Admin or try to do something with ColdFusion on these instances, all they see is error 500. Manually restart the instances starts correctly. I think the problem is that the ServerConnector of org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog will be started with the port 5500 instead of a random port (in the log files are you see an AVAILABLE argument is used by ColdFusion, when he calls the constructor). I suspect what happens is that when rebooting the server, all services trying to start at the same time and all try the port 5500 first to see if it is available for use. Since there are 8 processor cores, I think some cases on different cores to processors 'meaning' port 5500 is available and try to use it, but pending different instances on core cpu nested calls for actually the port and then others get an exception and cannot recover it. Those manually, restart gives them a new random number as the port 5500 is already used by a single instance.

The question we have is: can force us ColdFusion instance use different port for this org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog of ServerConnector and if not, is there another workaround solution? We tried the underside of things so far, but not of them semm to help. Our tests included stop all instances and try to change settings on a single instance to see if it will use different port for ServerConnectorm of the org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog after starting, but he always tries to claim the first 5500 port:

    • Tried to change the jvm for the below arguments. We tried all those who, because we don't know yet which is correct, various documents we found online did not say specifically, this can be done with ColdFusion servers and we are not very familiar with works of the pier or what work is in ColdFusion server. Any of these help to our question:
      -Djetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.server.server.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.Server.port = 20003
    • In addition, tried to change the jetty.xml file in the D:\CF11\cfusion\jetty\etc folder (it exists only in the instance main cfusion but other instances), port of the line 139, changed it to 0. There is either no make the difference:
      < name = 'port' > < property name = "jetty.port" default = "0" / > < / Set > "

    Hi Pawel,

I note on a system CF11 runs several instances I was looking at a ColdFusion11\INSTANCE\lib\jetty.xml.

    Part of said jetty.xml:

    0.0.0.0

    5500

    300000

When I edit thrown 'port' section on my localhost CF11 to 5501 jetty.xml and start the coldfusion - error.log says CF11 part:

After changing port 5501 I note CFadmin > server settings > settings summary > save as PDF button works well.

  • Restart the server - email settings problem

An another nub question here. My time is scattered here so I hope that as soon as I can get some real time with this program, I can stop spamming this forum with silly questions ;)

When you change the server e-mail settings to use the local mail server, I rebooted the server HQ service to save the changes. But the warnings do not always send.

I have to restart the agent on each of the other machines as well? I use IP server for local mail for the "Base URL". Is this correct? The mail server is already in use with a monitor of environment send alerts to ensure that the temperature in our server room. So it really seems like it should work... If the "Base URL" is the right place to put it. I'm not quite sure be honest.

Is there a newspaper any where I can see what happens when my alert test fire? Or do you think I should just get over it and configure the SMTP Protocol in the server.conf file - hq? I saw that in the documentation and wonder if it would be easier at this point.

    Thanks for your help.

    R

    Hello

The e-mail settings are configured in conf/hq - server.conf to basic SMTP. The user interface doesn't have a place to set up the mail server.  If you need smtp auth, there are additional files that need to be changed.

  • Restarting the server affects database?

    Hi all

Can you get it someone please let me know which...

My system administration want to reboot the server, affecting the database on this server? I men I have to restart the database too or is that if there's any cronjobs running in time of reboot...

    Thanks in Advacne

    Hello
Or is it done automatically in itself?
If you have configured it Yes. Read that for example: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b15658/strt_stp.htm#BABGDGHF
Note that in this case the clean shutdown of the database is done only if you do a graceful OS reboot of course (for example under HP - UX "shutdown - r there now" and not "reboot")
Oracle is a solid product in any case, you will not corrupt your database with a sudden stop, but if you have a planned restart, it is best to do things properly!
    Best regards
    Phil
