I have a brand new Smart keyboard.

All my devices are set up in the United States with American keyboards English.

I need to write in French, quite often as well as in German, I configured my iDevices with 2 additional French/QWERTY keyboards and German/QWERTY to benefit from predictive typing in all languages with a compatible keyboard.

But... It does everything just with the smart keyboard!

Whatever I do, when I try to switch the keyboard French, switches to page layout for German QWERTZ and AZERTY...

Sorry, but it makes the keyboard pretty unusable for typing in multiple languages, and my iPad to become Pro suddenly a toy big iPad and not a replacement for my MacBook Pro.

If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I'd be really grateful.

If anyone does, please Apple, fix it as soon as possible. I'm a fan and a true addict of Apple, but I'm just a fan of great amazing products. And this is not a new experience, it is not the future, it is an expensive product that is non-functional.

    I apologize.

    I got the solution.

  • Libretto W100 - switching language from German to English

    Hello
I bought the German version of the Libretto w100 (10 d) to get a sim - 3 G slot. Despite what the salesperson told me, it is not possible to switch from German into English interface. I have since bought an upgrade (Windows Anytime) Win7 Home to Win 7 Ultimate, for the additional language support. Now I got English in the system menus (mostly), but specific applications for Toshiba still use German, even though I have removed/reinstalled and English language selected during the installation process. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

And no, I don't understand the German language...

This is the European forum, I doubt that you will find the answer here. All the drivers you download from here will probably be in German, since it recognizes automatically that you are in Germany.

Go to the forum of American support:
    http://forums.Toshiba.com/T5/laptops/CT-p/c_laptops

Booklet is at the bottom of the page, ask if someone can download the English pilots, and share via megaupload or something.

  • Can I switch from a German Win 7 Home to win 7 Prof?

I bought my laptop in Austria and the bone House of win 7 is in German. At Christmas, I got a Win 7 Professional English upgrade DVD.  Before diving and upgrade I wanted to see if this is possible without any problems.

    Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, no, cross language upgrades are not supported. If you want to use Windows 7 Professional in English, you must do a custom installation.

    Upgrade paths:
Upgrade to Windows 7 from the following operating systems is not supported:

    ·      Place of cross-language upgrades (for example, en - us en - us) are not supported.

For more details, see the link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd772579 (WS.10) .aspx

How to make a custom installation:

To please drivers note, applications and hardware will need to be reinstalled:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • My iPad is registered in the United States, but I live in Germany. I want to change it now to my German address. What are the implications?

I bought my iPad 3 to the United States by giving a U.S. address. I had assumed (perhaps wrongly) that give my German address would be denying me access to the English user interface.

I live in Germany and I have a iPhone5s that I bought here in Germany where I live.

I want to "App PAYBACK" (which helps me to accumulate points when I shop here in Germany) to use on my iPhone5s , but when I search in the App store, I see only a Mexican version. When I tried to download this app on here https://www.payback.de/app

I get the message "not available in the US store.

When I communicate with the help of Apple, told me that, if I switch to my German address the Apps that I downloaded from the US store may not get an update whenever they are released.

Are there other problems that I should wait if I move to my German address?

  • Parameters: I want my Firefox talk to me in ENGLISH, but it will automatically switch on my country setting, i.e. the French! Where can I change this?

The main home page is in French, but I want all in English! I found a feature in 'tools' where can I put my favorite languages, and I chose the 3 languages I use every day: English, German, French. But suddenly, in the Middle, everything changes in French. That's all just annoying.
NB: I live in Geneva (Switzerland), a city internationsl, where many, many people ONLY speak English, but the country has 3 official languages, which are French, German and Italian.

  • Satellite 2430-301: cannot use 2200BG WLan card because the switch is off

    Hello

I have a Satellite 2430-301, which was not delivered with WLAN functionality. But I discovered, that there is a MiniPCI slot in the laptop.

So, I bought an Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Minipci card. After that I joined the card in the laptop, it has been detected by windows as a new network device. I downloaded and installed the drivers of Windows XP (because I have Windows XP installed on the laptop) of Intel (9.0.4.17) home page. The installation worked perfectly.

Now I tried to connect to a wireless network, but the software Intel says that the card is on 'off '. So I changed the menu drop-down on "on", which resulted in a mistake in German: "Die Intel (r) PRO/Wireless-Netzwerkverbindung ist noch deaktiviert.» Aktivieren Sie sie über your Hardware-switch. "(which means something like 'network Intel (r) PRO/Wireless connection is turned off. Turn it on with the hardware switch. »).

Although the switch was already in position "on", I spent several times - nothing important happened. The led next to the switch will not illuminate in both positions.

Are there problems of incompatibility between "Toshiba Satellite 2430 301" and "Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG?

    I did something wrong?

Is - this darn broken hardware switch?

    Any suggestions?

I would be really happy if someone could help me :)

    Thanks in advance,
    Thuriel

    Hello

The hardware switch led should light up if the switch is on.
In addition if you want to use the WiFi network you must go to the WLan with FN + F8 option.
In addition, you must check the WLan card properties in Device Manager. Here, you enter the Advanced tab. In the field of property choose radio power option and select the value to on.
