Switch user account logs off immediately

I have an admin account and a user account. When I click the icon to toggle the user account it immediately says "logout". This worked well until last week when my daughter tells me she google Justin Bieber and a site _ flashed on the screen, then she could not use his account. My admin account still worked fine so I deleted his old account, open a new one, but we can't get a new. Please let me know if you can help.

If so, 2 suggestions for you to try...

1. If this does not occur more than 10-15 days, and if you remember a good date when you did not have this problem, so please do a system restore. Choose the correct date as your restore point:

Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

2. If the system restore is not enough, here is a tutorial from Microsoft Support

    A part of which is related to the upgraded Photos app. If you have lots of photos (in thousands), it will take a lot of time for it reach to analyze your photo library. The best thing to do is to let him finish, as long as it could be. 1 hour per 1000 photographs as a rough estimate. When it is finally over, the performance of your Mac will be back to normal.

    Definitely get rid of "Trusteer" however. As a needless "anti-virus" garbage is still installed on your Mac, it is unreasonable to expect it to work the way it was designed to work.     Leaving the current Extension is OK but it does nothing.

  • the mouse freeze when I switch user or log out

    Several users on our domain are complaining that after they log off or switch to a new user of the mouse becomes disabled and centres of the arrow of the mouse in the middle of the screen.   • Cannot switch user accounts

    I have two user accounts on my Windows Vista Home Premium system. Both have been implemented as administrators, but one account was changed to the user 'Standard '. Once this change has been made I could no more switch users or make other changes to the users. Given that the current account is only a Standard user, it can only perform basic functions so I can't try to restore the system before the change. If I try to change the only guest user I give is of the ASP.NET Admin account asking for a password that I don't have. Via Explore, I can see users, but cannot access that I see the guest of ASP.NET.  How can I pass on my admin account?

    • Create and test a second admin account, and then save its details.
    • Create a password reset disk. Click Start, click Help, and then search for help on "reset disk".

    Here's how you can reset your password.
    1. open a session.
    2. click on start.
    3. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
    4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
    5. click on "run as Administrator".
    6. type the following command and press ENTER:
    NET user "user %%nom" 123456
    This command will set your password to 123456.

    Other versions of Windows, I was able put different user accounts.  I would like to have "invited" use a different newspaper account and do not have access to my confidential passwords and files.

    I tried to implement a different user account, by using the 'Help' to win 8 but it does not appear in the log in page.  The only visible account is mine and when I go into the PC settings, there is an account listed as "invited".  I am completely baffled and frustrated at this point.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    a. press the Windows key(start screen will popup), type the user account, click settings
    b. click on user accounts, click on Manage another account
    c. click guest, click on Open the
    d. logout the current user, sign in using the Guest user.

    Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself. Chances are that the "remains" of Norton here is your troublemaker.

  • Problem with user accounts

    I'll put up three new Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop for three employees and have problems with user accounts in XP Pro. When I go into the initial Setup, I enter the name of the employee, and it is configured as a user account. When I start the laptop, she prays for before administrator password XP will start. Start XP, I am not able to change to a different user account, when I select Logoff on the start menu, I have one is not given an option to switch users. When I go to user accounts in Control Panel, I see the user account that was created, I can change the name & photo, but I can't delete it. I can create a new account with a different name, but she plays the same thing. The administrator remains visible - it is supposed to be hidden if there is another account. It's like XP does not see other user accounts. I am at a loss to know what to do. These are new machines and all three act in the same way.

    I think I solved my problem - on the user accounts page there is a link "change the way user accounts log on or off. When I clicked on it I got a message saying settings could not be changed due to a layout in offline mode. When I changed this setting, I was able to select the types of user switching, and my other user accounts became available.

    I have 2 settings of user accounts: Admin and Standard in Win7/Pro.   99% of the time and the Admin account, I use the standard account for applications that will work on the admin account.

    I had Win 7 since December 2009 and it worked smoothly on my new X 200. Last month, I found a problem with my user accounts. When I disconnect an account and switch to another account, Win 7 support a temporary profile.  It works in two ways (disconnect or other accounts and the other does not).  To resolve this problem, I have to restart.  I can connect to either account after the reboot.

    If I switch users without logging first, it works very well.  Not sure if this is a windows problem or a X 200 problem.  I use mode 'sleep' 99% of the time, so after my system woke up I have to go back to the same user account that I used before I put the system to sleep or I get the loading of the temporary user profile.   Anyone else having this problem on a X 200 or Win7?    Like to think that I'm not crazy!

    NB: I have 2 user accounts on my Vista and XP systems, and I have this problem.

    I spent 2 weeks of searching on the Microsoft Forums, Google and asking COMPUTER technicians what they think.

    COMPUTER technicians are aware of the problem and have never been able to fix it (permanently). They remove the registry for their customers (but the problem always comes back).  Google says do a removal of the registration of your profile (temp fix) and some users of MS Forum suggest this route also. I choose to restart.

    You have left out some important information. What version of XP you, run Home/Pro/Media Center? Are get you connected automatically to your limited user account? If so, then hold down the SHIFT key as Windows starts. Should you get the classic login box and you can enter your own name of user and password. Once in, set the auto paper by doing the opposite of:

    If you want to get the welcome back screen, you will need to give the exact text of the error message and just say "a program". The difficulty depends on what "some program" is. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Hello! I found a problem with my system: when a user logs off Windows 7 x 64 session, the rest can not access the internet, until restarted network card. Reinstall NIC driver did not help. Problem appears on a built-in adapter, in the motherboard and a separate PCI card too.  Same router via its web interface is not accessible. Windows cannot automatically fix this problem after trying to diagnose a problem with his problem Diagnostic tool. After the diagnosis in the DETAILS window, MORE tests, it displays a message like this "computer remote can not receive a connection via the Internet (HTTP) Service Port". "Unplugging" a corresponding Local network connection and then reconnect solves the problem immediately. Switching between users, when two of them are connected do not cause this problem. Important: the problem occurs in the account of the user who was logged on the system FIRST after the PC was on, when the user disconnected on newspapers of a SECOND. If the SECOND user is logged in and the FIRST user disconnects, SECOND can still access the internet. It depends only on the sequence of the user's record, not on the particular user name. And one more interesting fact: after each user registered on and outside just for once, the problem seems to disappear until the PC is turned off and turn it back on!
