  1. are you able to delete all the other files in the trash, except program files?

  I'm removing the category UAT of FDM. We don't have this category in HFM anymore and that is why I am removing.

  But I am getting below error when I am trying to remove

  Error: The system must be locked to perform this task.

  I checked and made sure that there are no maps or data for this category, but still get the error.

  Can someone suggest me what am I supposed to check further.

  This tells you that the message is that you can not delete a category when there might be other users on the system. You must apply the locking system for the kickoff of all non-admin users, then delete the category. The locking system is the straightest option in the POV bar (it will display either open or locked). Double-click it, and then lock the system and you will then be able to delete the category (you need to be logged in as an administrator to do this)

  I found a solution using registry edit. This tutorial was written with Windows 7 in mind, but also works with Windows 8.

  Cannot remove using Add/Remove program, to get mesasge: log file is invalid or damaged.  Using Windows XP

  Download and install Revo: http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/revo-uninstaller/revouninstaller.html and use it to try to uninstall the program.  It often works when uninstall Windows is not.

  These rebels KBs will return whenever you are looking for updates.  The important thing is the EVER so that they will not be installed unless you allow it.  Whenever you check, find them and hide them again.

  I do not recommend to run the update more than once a month.  Hide an update of Windows that is not marked safe.  I mean this whole which are not labelled security should be hidden.

  Try this first and see how you go...

  1. To turn on the Quick Launch bar, follow these steps:
  2. Right-click anywhere on an empty spot on the taskbar.
  3. Choose toolbars from the menu that appears.
  4. Select Quick Launch in the following menu so that it is checked.

  You should then be able to click the icon to switch between Windows now and use the 3d Flip...

  2. Select the folder from the context menu. It will take you to the Quick Launch folder that should live:

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

  3. right click in an empty area of this folder
  4. Select new, then shortcut from the context menu
  5. for the location text box, enter the following text:

  C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe dwmapi #105

  6. click on the next button

  The shortcut will now be in your Quick Launch toolbar.
