switching keyboards xperia

Hello

I would like to know if there is a way to change the languages of fly-fishing on my z3 xperia keyboard.

I have xperia English but also Chinese keyboards but obvious way only pass seems to change languages completely, something I don't want to do.

What I need is to be able to switch the keyboard in Chinese when typing (something that comes to she might do on my galaxy note 2, there has been an icon next to the space key which allowed me to quickly switch between Chinese, English and Romanian).

Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to do this on z3? Thank you!

You can change the language of the keyboard by dragging down your notification drawer when the keyboard is in place. You should see a keyboard on the notification bar icon. Once you bring in the notifications screen, select choose the input method and you can select your keyboard language. Also when android 5 out further settings for the keyboard and language lbs. But it's the only way I knew how to go relatively quickly between keyboards. Not as fast as iOS but what can do you? I hope sony can give us an update with this quick setting.

  • Gesture keyboard Xperia type entry (Swipe) nonfunctional in the Awesome Bar

I recently got a compact Xperia Z1 (my first android phone) and Firefox was one of the first applications to this topic.

Annoyingly gesture typing (when you drag one letter to another without lifting a finger) seems not functional in the Awesome Bar (address/search bar). However, it works perfectly well on boxes/fields of entry on websites visited.

Is it possible to allow the gesture by typing in the awesome bar?

    See you soon.

Unfortunately on my Xperia Z2 update does not solve although the passage to the Chinese keyboard solves. Using the solution of 'space character space' above also works.

  • How can I find the hard drive in my Acer Aspire 10.1 switch keyboard docking station?

My Acer Aspire 10.1 switch was sold with an additional 500 GB HDD in the keyboard. But the drive only extra hard (except C :) I can find in Explorer's "recovery (D :) ", but this is ony 32 GB, but it goes away when I remove the keyboard, so it is in the keyboard. At the start of the computer there is certainly a hard drive of sound from the keyboard, so there is something in there. OS is Win 8.1.

the 500 GB HARD drive is on the keyboard, so if you disconnect Switch10, you lose the remote storage.

You can check it in disk management:

Logo of the Windows key + x

    Click on disk management

It will be all avilable storage the list, in order to check if the HDD 500 GB is there and if it is listed as unallocated space.

  • Keyboard Xperia z3 shift

    Hey everybody,

Im having some very annoying keyboard lag on my Z3. I read some things about it on the internet and it seems to result from the scaling down of the CPU. in which the keyoard is not responding as it should.

I did a video of it:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=uPIpjHitYyI&list=UUl3BUH8my0Z6KLFjzr-QkrA

Perhaps an option in settings to manually set the CPU to a no acceleration downwards when you use the keyboard. or give him a few more power. Its pretty annoying lag.

Sometimes its so it slow swype registers instead of pressure on the keys because of the delay.

I know the phone will hold 2 days of autonomy and I can easily hit the screen of 9 hours earlier with 24 hours of sleep with her. But I surely wouldn't mind an hour less screen time if the keyboard actually works...

It's a pain using the keyboard right now.

I have just received information that this issue should be fixed in the Xperia keyboard 6.7.A.0.86

  • Switch keyboard T430

    Hi all

I am considering buying the t430. The only problem I have is that I live in the Canada and I would get the AZERTY French keyboard instead of the french CSA or the french Canadian QWERTY keyboard on this subject. Anyone know if it is possible to order it with the french keyboard in canada? Or can I buy the t430 and take it to a person to replace the keyboard?

    Thanks for your help.

I was told that I should order the laptop and order a french replacement part keyboard and then replace it. I looked it up on youtube, it's pretty easy.

  • not being able to switch keyboards after update.

I bought market swiftkey but when I go to change in my settings it gives me the opportunity to spend the android keyboard. Someone knows how to fix this or having the same problem?

You cannot turn off the virtual keyboard integrated on 2.1

It's okay, you can have more than one active virtual keyboard. Check the box next to each of them that you can use:

As you can see, I have three active.

To choose the one that you want to use press and hold in a text field and you will get a pop-up window:

There may be more options, but you tap the input method and them you will see a list of active keyboards:

Select the one you want to use. This will not change until you go through the process again.

If the keyboard that you want to activate does not appear then I suggest you uninstall and reinstall.

  • Xperia keyboard related.

    Hello, everyone.

Nearly three weeks, I've been messing around with the stock keyboard Xperia and I was quickly typing on the suggested words without even having to type. I was pretty much something childish.

Anyway, I was typing fast and I accidentally deleted about three to four words in the dictionary. and I don't know if they were the ones I added manually, or same words dictionary UK stocks.

So all I want to know if I can clear the cache or erase data from the keyboard anyway, because I couldn't find in the settings of applications. Or if I can reset everything I did. In addition, I won't use the American dictionary, as I learned English in the UK format.

I tried to erase the words that I have manually inserted at the keyboard, as a way, I thought he would work as a "clear the Cache" or "Clear data", but I don't know if it worked, because I don't know what exactly are the words that I deleted.

So in the end... Please help.

    Try to erase data.

How to erase data on applications. From your home screen

    1. tap the icon of the Application screen.
2 find and tap Settings > applications.
    3. slide the tab all.
    4. search and type on the keyboard of the Xperia.
5 tap Force judgment > clear data.
    6. restart the phone

  • Misleading iOS keyboards Vertical/Horizontal (iPhone6/iOS9.2

I recently spent an iPhone6 (from 5) and noticed (probably a change that I have not noticed before and may not check more) a light but extremely annoying difference in the configuration of the keyboard when you use the phone vertically or horizontally.

I'm a native French speaking but often switched from French to English and vice versa.

Therefore, I have several keyboard/languages are installed.

The key to switch keyboard language (globe) and the key of the keypad (123) switch are reversed during the rotation of the keyboard.

It's really annoying because it's easy to hit the wrong key and sudden change of language and get (if you have this feature active) regarded as unwanted automatic corrections of certain words - the image below show misleading patterns.

NOTE: I have an iPad4 too (iOS9.3 public beta2) and two horizontal and vertical keyboards are corresponding to the vertical layout on my iPhone6 (as long as the key to the language switch / digital are concerned), so no problem there.

  • keyboard with numeric keys

I'm after a with digital keyboard so that I don't have the key at the bottom left to bring the number and symbol keys.

    Can you recommend me?

    Hi @tanbir17,

You can in fact add number buttons to the top of the keyboard Xperia in later versions.

Try going to settings > language & entry > Xperia keyboard > symbols and smileys and you should have an option to add digital keys. Just make sure that you have updated to the latest version I have Google Play.
