Symmetrical knots

Does anyone know if there is a way to make a good symmetrical knot in Illustrator CS3?  This was a feature I have taken for granted since the first versions of CorelDRAW, but I find it difficult to replicate this kind of feature in Illustrator.

Thanks for your help!

Node = point anchor.

To create a symmetrical knot, hold Option or Alt key while dragging a node with the tool pen.

The real problem is if you want two existing handles, not symmetrical, to become symmetrical while staying with the current positions of handles. Illustrator does not here. There is no automated way built into Illustrator to essentially "handle wink to be symmetrical".

There are a couple useful plug-ins however. Control of Worker72a (Mac only) and XtremePath of cvalley point have all two additional nodes modifying the characteristics that I find really useful. You can watch trying tests of these plug-ins to see if they are suitable for your needs.

  • The path segments and anchor point conversion

Once again, coming from CorelDraw background, working with paths and their anchor in Illustrator, seems me very little practice, but hey, I'm willing to learn. However, I could not find how to get this Illustrator basic functionality, and oh boy I searched a lot. So, here we go, maybe you guys can give me a hint.

Basically, in CorelDraw, anchor points can be: cusp point, smooth or symmetrical and the correspondence path segments can be lines or curves, all of these can be set by little fast individually and for me somehow normal.

    Corel000.jpgCorel002.jpgCorel003.jpgCorel004.jpgCorel005.jpgCorel006.jpgCorel007.jpg

Now in illustrator, I know how to use convert tool for shwitch to a smooth point to a corner anchor point or the other way around. But many times, after his conversion to a point angle, I would like to have the posibility to do one or the other line segments of a path or curve. How can I do this in Illustrator?

It is also possible to reproduce the functionality of symmetrical knot in Illustrator, which is specific for an anchor point handles, are the same length, move synchronized and always 180 deg apart.

Thank you and sorry if my questions are obvious, I can't find my energetic path in Illustrator.

I'm really sorry for this announcement.

Don't apologize. Your points are not invalid.

Fact, it's simply, Illustrator does not provide an explicit anchor type that assures the tangency between the right and a segment of the curve (your screenshot third in your initial post). Draw is done. The fact Freehand (called connector Points). No Illustrator.

Illustrator does not provide an adequate means for retrieving a single handful of anchor point. Allowing you to win almost end up disrupting the curvature of the adjacent section.

Illustrator does not constraints anchors to symmetric handles of the same length. You can do this initially convert result to slip with the tool, or (recently) click the button convert to smooth in the control panel. But even once, there no special anchor type to ensure that the symmetry continues with future adjustments.

If you continue to study carefully the differences, you will find several omissions similar and/or limitations in interface of Bezier path of Illustrator, for taken-for-granted things in other programs. For example, you cannot compel a length of handle adjustment (sliding) to the current angle. It's always been like that. The Illustrator Bezier interface is worse in their class. Too many tools; too few features.

  • Problem chart satellite A210-14 - 2 vertical and symmetric lines

    Hello

I bought a Satellite A210-14 s ATI HD2600 1 last week, which, from the point of view of performance, convinces me really.
Unfortunately, during this time, it happened twice, that * suddenly * got grainy and colours with increased contrast, including 2 symmetric and vertical lines of the same width (about 3cm).
These lines also show the bottom, but with a different color.

In addition, the horizontal view, some tasks began to Flash.
The 2 times that has happened, the error seemed to have the same characteristics.
In both cases, after a reboot, the symptoms of this family has disappeared.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello

It is not easy to give accurate diagnosis but if possible, try to test it with external display. If the problem persists it is probably caused by a faulty graphics card. You can also use a supplied recovery media and install OS again to see if something is changed.

Anyway, your Satellite of new notebook with valid warranty. I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba authorized service partner and leave check your laptop.

  • calculate the symmetrical components of voltage and current

Hi all. I work on the calculation of symmetrical components of voltage and current in Labview. I have included the relationship between the symmetrical components and sequence as photo 1 voltage. I'm going to use this calculation for several times, so I wonder if anyone has some ideas far better bc I wired just so much together to realize the expression. It seems aweful. Any suggestion? as built-in function to achieve this function? Thank you

Let's take a look on your form (you don't say what is complex, etc, so modify as needed)

For example, here is how you create the matrix A to an alpha given.

Similarly, you can create A ^(-1) matrix (your definition of A and A ^(-1) seem incompatible, otherwise you could just pick matrix inverse of A). After that, you can multiply with you V123 vector using AxB.

  • Asymmetric encryption of the symmetric encryption

I read through a few documents and see that IPsec uses asymmetric key cryptography in Phase 1 to create SAs ike and encryption to the symmetric key for IPsec security associations that are data in bulk.

Please can someone confirm if this is true. What key (symmetric key or asymmetric) set for pre shared key counterpart specific belngs to.

    Thanks in advance

Following a simple rule: whenever userdata must be protected, symmetric cryptography is used because it is built for this task and is much faster then asymmetric crypto. Asymmetric cryptography is not built to protect large amounts of data.

With this, IPsec security associations use only the symmetric algorithms to protect data.

For Phase 1, it depends on how authentication is performed.

If you are using PSK and ROUTER1 wants to authenticate ROUTER2, there are the following (slightly simplified) process:

    1. R1 sends a nonce to R2. It is essentially a random number.
    2. R2 takes this value for single use, axe with the PSK and sends the result to R1.
    3. R1 uses its own generated nonce and the PSK and also calculates a hash.
    4. If the received hash and the local calculation are the same, R1 knows that R2 has made the calculation with the Nuncio as R1 provided and used the same PSK R1: R2 is authenticated.
    5. In IPsec, these authentication is done each other, also R2 authenticates R1.

No asymmetric cryptography is involved when PSK is used which allows fast enough treatment.

If you use digital certificates for authentication (rsa - sig in the config method) the following happens (even simpler):

    1. R1 sends a nonce to R2. This single value gets axe and the hash is encrypted with the private key of R2s (here we have asymmetric cryptography). If a hash is encrypted with a private key, the result is called a digital signature.
    2. The signature is returned to R1.
    3. R1 uses the R1 certificate to prove the correctness of the signature which is again an asymmetric cryptographic operation. Prior to this, the received certificate has be validated which also has one ore more Asymmetric cryptographic operations.
    4. And the same thing happens the other way around.

With authentication using digital certificates we have asymmetric cryptography.

In addition, he is also asymmetric cryptography when DH calculates keymaterial for session keys.

  • knot breaking outside

    Hello

can someone help me with the following error:

JavaScript exception: error calling the selection function: error: Page is overflowing with a knot of breakpoint.

It is the first time that I had this error and I do not understand why it is coming.

When I build my site was fine, but yesterday I wanted to edit text and suddenly this error came.

I tried to give her a further break point, a much wider. 2500 that I use a lot. But on this site, it doesn't seem to work. I also gave her a clear width, but it does not work either.

(I have now transferred my old site again)

Does anyone have experience or advice for me? Thank you

  • I can edit the Bézier handles symmetrically with Anchor Point tool?

In CC when using the pen tool on PC, I like the way that you press Alt and Anchor Point tool allows to modify Anchor Points and paths on the fly. But to convert an anchor point in the curve, the Bézier handles soar symmetrically compared to start but after letting go, I can only go back and modify the handles independently using this tool who loses the symmetry and therefore the sweetness in the anchor point

Is it possible to edit the Bézier handles symmetrically using this tool after the initial conversion of the corner anchor to smooth?

    Thank you

    N °

If you want to change the handles symmetrically, so that they are uninterrupted - direct face-to-face and the same length, you have to start over - drag - click on the anchor with the anchor Point tool.

I don't think you should use the Alt key

After that, assuming that both handles are uninterrupted, you can click drag with the direct Selection (white arrow) tool on the end of handles and the curve will remain smooth as handles to remain intact.

so in short, use the direct Selection tool (press and hold Ctrl), if you want to change unilaterally, without breaking the 2 handles.

    Can be useful for checking-

  • Hide a knot and reduce its space

Hi, I have a simple tray in which I have several icons inside an HBox (drawn with fxml ui). These icons may be visible or hidden due to some configuration properties in my application. I have a link between some BooleanProperty and image.visibleProperty. The problem, as you can guess, is that when disappears from the icon in the Middle I have a hole :-) There is a property like Android http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/View.html#GONE, which hide the knot and the collapse of his space? Any suggestion? Thank you

You can just delete the node in the container, but if you want to keep in the graphic scene, you can also set it's managed as well as its visibility property then when you hide, it will not leave a "hole":

Java - JavaFX HBox hide point - Stack Overflow

Before calling setVisible, also called setManaged, or, better yet, link the managedProperty parameter to the visibilityProperty.

      nodeToHide.managedProperty().bind(legendPane.visibleProperty());

      nodeToHide.setVisible(false);

HAVE no direct symmetry joined. All these things would be done the hard way by drawing a half and then mirrored. As an alternative, you can use this plugin:

ACR is an single database running on several servers (on each db instance). That's how Oracle scales.

Oracle does not fit the opposite way - multiple databases running on a single server.

    (1) can I use all 7 servers (database applications 4 and 3) together in a knot two CARS?

Which depends entirely on whether the 2 servers are able to cope with the processing load currently managed by database servers.

Also note that in Oracle terms "+ database +" and "+ pattern +" differ from what are used by other RDBMS products.

An Oracle database is a physical entity. An Oracle schema is one (among others) a logical database. If a single physical Oracle database can contain 1000's of logical databases - and these logical databases may be physically separated from other (via storage spaces), can have different rights, can have profiles of different resources, etc.

Each node RAC is part of a cluster shared everything - which means that the complete physical database is available on each RAC node.

RAC, you can do what is called the partitioning of the application. For example, you can configure clients of HR to take advantage of the High Representative of the logical database (schema) on node RAC 1. Node RAC 3 is used for example for the Data Mart application, and node 2 handles the billing of customers to subscribers.

In other words, you partition your applications across RAC nodes.

    (2) in the CCR can have different instances with the same name?

The name of the instance is a physical name and should be very rarely used explicitly. Your physical database RAC SID can be PROD. Your 4 instances of CARS, one on each server will have PROD1 to PROD4SIDS.

But you should rather create database services and have clients to connect (via SCAN/single Client Access Name of the CARS) to a specific service.

Essential to keep in mind - RAC's response to Oracle scalability. And ACR is multiple servers and a single database. Do the reverse and run several database on a single server (RAC or RAC), very rarely makes no technical sense. It will almost always reduce the performance and scalability.

    Asymmetric forms:-http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/hp_admin/ch06s04s05.html
the symmetrical forms are the opposite meaning that they have the same sets of members through the dimensions, basically symmetrical.
Also do a search for symmetrical and asymmetrical on the web if you don't understand the meaning.
