• Two fingers to scroll and Pinch to Zoom do not work

  Hello. I bought a brand new HP 4-1115dx this morning, and the two fingers to scroll/sleeve to zoom stopped working completely after 15 minutes of use.

  I have twice now uninstalled the driver and re installed from site Web from HP, currently using v16.2.17.0 latest (available for my device).  I went into the settings of the Clickpad, provided two fingers to scroll and pinch to zoom are both checked and entered in the settings/transmission for each of these items and provided all the appropriate scroll options would be checked.  I also watched the synaptics on the toolbar icon, and 'disable gestures' is NOT checked.

  When I turned on the computer for the first time, twofinger scroll and pinch to zoom in when selected by default and "scrolling" (which is a right mouse pad finger scrolling was NOT selected by default.  15 minutes after turning on the new device, I ticked 'scrolling' to see if I liked the right side of the touchpad scrolling better.  I have since failed to get the two fingers to scroll / pinch to zoom out (I've several times switched on / two fingers to scroll and the a finger right side touchpad "scroll".)

  Help, please!  This isn't the end of the world for me, but a feature that does not work after 15 of owning a product makes me nervous for other features do not down the road!

  It could be a problem with the synaptic software.

  Go to control panel and uninstall the synaptic program.

  Start-> Control Panel Type-> uninstaller-> right click and uninstall synaptic.

  If you restart, go ahead.

  Now lift the Recovery Manager

  Go to start-> type of recovery

  You should see the Recovery Manager in the list

  Open the Recovery Manager, and then click on software and driver re install

  Go through the list and find synaptic and reinstall.

  I don't have a Dell but, you may need to verify that you have the latest touchpad drivers supported for your PC. For example, see http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN294988/EN , which is for an E7240 E7440 3340, but it does not "for systems with Windows 7, the latest touchpad driver must be installed. Earlier versions of this driver Windows 7 do not include the directional adjustment'. So maybe it's the case for your E6540?

  I had to create a new user profile, because in my old profile all the apple connected apps crashed when opening.

  I found my own solution and decided to publish it for anyone having a similar problem:

  When I activated the option "Ignore the trackpad when a mouse is connected" two-finger-click started working.

  I can't explain why (I do not use a mouse, so it shouldn't make a difference), but who cares, it works now.

  Earlier today, I started having a problem with some of my touchpad - two fingers scrolling gestures and the flick of three fingers do not work anymore, even if they worked perfectly well this morning. I tried to update the drivers, reinstall, and roll them back as far as possible, but nothing seems to fix. Curiously, however, multitouch gestures work, like the tap with two fingers to produce a "right-click" the gestures of vertical and lateral scan left/right also work correctly.   I have an Asus laptop and it worked for me when nothing else. You will need to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the so-called "Asus Smart gesture...

  Can someone tell me if there is a way to use the mouse wheel to scroll vertically in a secondary window in 7.1? (I allow the vertical scroll bar, and I focus to the true value.)   I read that it is supposed to work for listboxes, is it supposed to apply to the sub-panels as well?

  No way without writing code as far as I know. When I wanted to do something like this in LabVIEW 7.0, I had a loop that has probed the wheel using the feeding screw and used to generate a user event whenever there was a parchment. I then used that to set the FP. Original in the Subvi property to simulate a parchment. Note that you need to remove the Subvi Panel first, because you can't write the original property to a VI in a MS.

  The order was therefore-

  1. see the updates in the caller (if the user does not see the VI being deleted).
  2. remove the SP.
  3. the original value (and make sure that the user does not have to scroll past the end of the authorized zone).
  4. Insert VI SP.
  5. undefer updated.

It seems that this function should work automatically, but it is not working at all in my application.   I've added a few features such as

  requestFocusForScrolling()

  I would try to install the Windows 8.1 (64-bit) driver Synaptics touchpad available in the download section of your sleekbook web support before using compatibility mode.  If the current driver does not work for you, try the earlier versions available .

  If you have no positive results, then use the compatibility mode (select Windows 8) on all three Windows 8.1 synaptics touchpad drivers, starting with the most recent.

  To use compatibility mode to install the driver just softpaq to the right, click on the file and choose troubleshoot compatibility. Select Windows 8 and run the installer.

  The following video has a decent explanation, but the Narrator does not get to the point for a bit. Go directly to the minute 4 and watch it from there.

• Cannot change scroll setting reverse two fingers on Acer Aspire Synaptics ClickPad V8.1

  I just got an Acer Aspire (excellent camera) with the intuitive two fingers scrolling on the Synaptics ClickPad V8.1, so I tried to reverse the trend. I went to the Synaptics Touchpad settings and then went to the settings on two fingers scrolling, but could only check/uncheck the first two above (select vertical and horizontal allow)-the rest was just gray and could not be clicked.
  Did everything back to default and even created new profiles to see if I could change it then, but nothing helps. I may not have rights (Administrator) to change? Before I installed Windows 8 running.

  I found the resolution on a post about another Acer laptop model.  It is real simple but I had technical support at acer ready to elevate my status of support at level-2.

  1.) Control Panel > hardware and sound > mouse

  2.) on 'device settings' tab, click 'Settings' button

  3.) under 'Extra features', uncheck the option 'Zoom perfect.'

  What are the features were previously unavailable for the setting (for example two fingers to scroll, Pinch Zoom, etc.) are now available to be adjusted.

• Fusion 7 & 8 - No. 10 Windows - edge browser - two fingers scrolling

  Two fingers to scroll works everywhere except in the edge browser.  It comes in two different facilities.  A Fusion 7 and the other with Fusion 8.  In no 2 finger scroll work case.  Chrome, Safari, IE 11 as well as all other applications are very well.

  Any thoughts?

  Figured it out!   Turns out that I was running an app called WizMouse:

  "WizMouse is a mouse development utility that makes your mouse wheel works on the window currently under the mouse pointer, instead of the window that currently has the focus." This means that you have to click on a window before being able to scroll with the mouse wheel. It is a way much more comfortable and more convenient to make use of the mouse wheel. »

  I use this app for years and had completely forgotten about it.  This functionality is now native with Windows 10 so it is not necessary.  Once I leave the app, scroll edge started working.

  Hope this might help someone else with the same problem.

This comments section will display the comments of several users who have access to the task. I want to add validation for the field of comments as below-
  
  (1) to DISMISS the action, we must check whether or not the APPROVER had provided the reason for REJECTION in the comments field. If this isn't the case, we need to display a popup asking him to provide observations of REJECTION.
  (2) on the action to APPROVE, no need to check for comments, so no validation is necessary.
