Sync kernel - does not (yet) and no auto update for the CC app...?

New errors/bugs for one out there who can help me.

Whenever I boot my Mac CC takes 20 minutes go, checking the activity monitor app I see it.


I also noticed that my CC is the 2.0.0.74 version and the latest version is 2.0.1.88, is my CC for the automatic update?


I don't see green ticks also tell me what is synchronized and not...

Dave, try the following steps.

1. close the following processes in the activity monitor.

  • Creating cloud, Coresync, Office Adobe services

2 restart the creative cloud and see if it works.

If this is not the case, try:

  1. Cloud Desktop App is empty?
  2. Delete creative cloud app - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
  3. Install the cloud creative app - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html

    If the standard uninstall process is not working (as seems to be the case), then try to use the free Revo: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html that often works when the usual process does a complete job.  I know for a fact that in advanced mode, there's a special process which deals expressly with clean up the leftovers of the program register.  Personally, I use Revo to uninstall everything that I want to uninstall (more with AV products special removal tools) because almost all normal uninstall process leaves something behind (I had to remove the remains on almost each uninstall I made using Revo) and this will keep my own system.

    If you have already uninstalled to the point that it does not appear as an option in Revo, then reinstall again and then uninstall with Revo in advanced mode and this time and that should do the trick.

  • Windows Media Player 11 does not close and continues to operate in the background.

    After watching a video or listening to music in WMP if I close it (using the file > exit or the X button) I can still hear the audio.  WMP does not appear in the taskbar or the system tray or even the applications tab in Task Manager.  The only way I can stop playing any file played is to kill the process.  Really annoying when trying to use a multimedia keyboard to start a song in itunes or other see two songs to play (one in itunes) and the other underground WMP.  Any help would be appreciated.

    If you have the 64 bit rescue CD, you would have received an error if it was bad.

    Once you have all your data backup, try the following - which means that Windows has been installed on the C Partition.

    This isn't a bug, it is a limitation of the converter. It is stated in the documentation. Converter considers that any machine under tension like physics. It cannot convert powered on Linux machines to hosted (i.e. Workstation/Fusion) destinations.

    A solution would be to convert it to ESX and then convert the (from) power off the VM power to the workstation.
