Sync of Smartphones don't blackBerry ID Splsh add in

Splash ID password manager bought and tried to install it via Desktop Manager, but the Blackberry desktop manager does not synchronize the add on. He tells me to start Splash first on my device (but of course this isn't on the device).  BlackBerry is supposed to have a fix for this, but I'm under v 6.0.1.18, the latest version. . Splash support tells me to install the latest version of blackberry. No help there. Any suggestions? Thank you

9650 "BOLD".

Please confirm that you followed instruction and also do know at what stage you are facing problem.

To complete the installation, connect your BlackBerry to your desktop as you would normally for synchronization. Note: these instructions are for BlackBerry Desktop Software version 6. The steps vary for older versions.

  1. Launch the BlackBerry Desktop Software , click Applications.
  2. Click on the button import files and navigate to select this file:
    c:\Program Files\SplashData\SplashID BlackBerry\SplashID.alx
  3. Click apply and then on SplashID will be installed on the device.
  4. On your handheld, find the SplashID application and launch. Can be found in the Applications folder or in the folder downloads .

If you receive a message about "no additional applications are found", you can download wireless via your BlackBerry browser on the device iteself. See the table above "direct Download".

To activate the synchronization:

  1. Launch the BlackBerry Desktop Software , click Add-Ins.
  2. Check the box that reads "SplashID Intellisync Add-in."
  3. On the background, click the Sync button to synchronize

OK thanks... you came very close to what I need... except just saying 'mistake' in regard to music downloads... but, any...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you need to get in touch with your service provider and insist that they honor the formal support that they are contractually required to provide you with. Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.

Looks like they have made significant changes to their network... and they must ensure that their paying customers will continue to receive the services that they pay.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones don't Smart not so storm

I'm at my wit's end. Extremely frustrated new user of blackberry. My phone is ex-US storm 9530. I have the dreaded "app error 523 Reset"... I took the South African Vodacom phone and they don't take because the number of IME is not compatible with their system. I went to repair shops and they can't solve the problem. I tried the instructions on site and forums of blackberry without success. I even downloaded the OS on my PC and tried to solve the problem without success. The seller in Cape Town has not responded to my SOS. I have no one else to turn to. What I have now is a dead piece of fancy equipment that I have spent a fortune on my scholarship and I used for a month only 3 or pleased...! Was there a problem with the storm series that someone is not talking? I bought with enthusiasm the BBerry starting to regret.

Hello and welcome to the community!

    For reference, see this KB:

KB24395 "Error 523", "App Error 523", or "JVM 523" is displayed on the BlackBerry smartphone

You seem to have done the efforts recommended, but your post, I can determine just what happened when you were looking for support from your service provider. However, I can't say any of this:

You see, "without success" says virtually nothing. The download was successful? Failed installation on your PC? How did the installation of your BB? "Without success" only let me guess... which is not a good use of your time. Please detail exactly what you done with that part of your appeal tent, as well as the results of each step of the process that you followed. Details. Completeness. You must be very complete as it has several possible paths, you could follow... I not only need to know which way you used, but the results of each step you take along this path.

    Thank you.

Hi everyone, I thought of it!  The cause of the problem is that we have updated only Facebook.

I have a tesco sim card and my blackberry is a curve 8520. Is there a way I can fix this issue with/without phoning tesco and with or without change of SIM...
    Thank you xox.

Of course, they can't give you an activation of the company, I said that you need to ask them for the BlackBerry BIS data Plan.

Believe me, they know what it is.

Yes, they have it on Pay as you go.

If you or they still don't know what to ask, say Tesco to designate their own website:

  • Sync of Smartphones blackBerry to 2013 Outlook not supported

    It's frustrating.

Recently had to upgrade to 2013 Outlook with Exchange Server and now can't sync my Bold 9900 with Desktop software. I managed to get e-mail through IMAP, but these are not binding although the link of my previous OWA (no status of reading or items removed and need to add a rule to forward messages sent from the device to my Outlook 2013)

I understand that Blackberry does not yet support Outlook 2013. It's been a while since Outlook 2013 was released in beta version and then RTM and no news at all on the issue of Blackberry.

Has anyone heard if Blackberry is going to do something about that soon?

Frankly, I can't get to consider switching to something that will connect - Apple devices and Android seems to work. I always heard about problems with synchronization on BB10 devices that may have been recently solved.
