I use Office 365 Small business Plan with Outlook 2013 Preview.

  • Problem syncing of Smartphones from blackBerry with Lotus Notes 8 (Windows - no synchronization farm)

    Hello world

I have a problem with the replication of a Blackberry Storm (9500) with Lotus Notes 8.0.2. The desktop software that I am running is version 4.7.0.25 on Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3.

After setting up the synchronization of calendar and address book, when you synchronize manually, start the pop-up windows, where one would expect to see the progress bar of the just closed synchronization after a splitsecond.

Even if I put the journal setting within the highest synchronization propertiesto possible value, no log is written at all.

The Windows event logs do not show only one entry for that matter.

When trying to auto-sync after connecting the usb with the computer devicethrough blackberry cell phone, the device is recognized, but still there is no synchronization.

Everyone knows a similar problem before?

    Any hint is appreciated.

    Thank you much in advance.

    Hello world

I wanted to let you know that I finally managed to solve this problem.

I have backed up from your handheld address book and calendar by using the desktop software (functionfortunately the backup worked) and them cleaned on the handheld.

After a reinstall of the desktop software, synchronization between BlackBerry and Lotus Notes worked usning the combination of Desktop Siftware 4.1 and Lotus Notes 8.0.2.

    Best regards

  • Problem of Sync of Smartphones from blackBerry - OpenFolder function failed

I downloaded the Desktop Manager Version 4.6.0.12.  While trying to synchronize with 8320, I received an error message - intellisync "OpenFolder function failed" and nothing had synchronized.  How I overcome this problem?

In addition, I would also like to know why the function to 'reconcile the messages' is not available in the Fund Manager and how I could reconcile messages from Outlook2007 to my unit so that all emails remain on the device and Outlook. Currently, I only get emails delivered to my blackberry only when my Outlook is closed.

I am currently using the BIS.

    Thank you!

OK giye that a test, restart and try DM

Having problems syncing App Wrold try to update App World on my phone, but also update of applications;  error code is listed as A1.

    Someone has an idea?

    Oh,.

I'm sorry.  I followed the instructions and App World works (However, keep in mind, it was before; it just would not be be updated to the latest version - which was the A1 error that started this).  If 4.3.0.26 is the most recent available for a BB Bold 9930, then I think it's very good.

Thus AppWorld has been fine all this time? Good blood... I wish you knew from many posts ago... I feel like I am wasting your time terribly here...

My email and other functions seem to be working (although they were before).  I have not tested them.

It's the right information... Thank you.

The only application that I'm sure is not and has not, has worked on this handset is WLM.  And that's who I'm trying to get on with the job.

As I have no experience with WLM, I can offer you anything, but for you to search for these public KBs to see if there are those who are close to your situation:

Another thing that can have an impact on this.  I see 5 applications on my phone under 'My World', when I look on my PC in Blackberry Desktop Software, I see 3 different applications... very confusing.  I hope I'm not throw more maximum elements into the mix...

It is often the case... even though I really need to understand a lot more about what you are to see in this window of desktop software. The Desktop software is planned (note carefully that Word... it's not perfect) to show you all the applications on your BB you've got sources, as well as those that would be available as part of the package of basic OS itself. AppWorld shows only apps available via AppWorld. If these two lists are rarely identical.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry using my own desktop image with different themes... Please help.

Hello, I hope that this is possible. I have a Verizion Curve 8330. With the standard theme of Verizon, I was able to put my picture on the desktop (for lack of a better word). I like the Zen theme and I was wondering if I could put my image of the desktop in this theme. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Save image on your device. Ensure that its dimesions is 320 x 240 pixels (or proportional size which can be reduced by an image editor). Otherwise the image will be adjusted not a kind of 'look fancy' on your device.

Place the image file on your report card micro-sd (in pictures).

Unplug your device from the desktop computer, and open the media icon. Open 'Pictures' icon.

Search for the image file in the image list.

    Select and open the menu.

Select in the menu: "set as home screen Image".

To transfer files to your sd card there are two ways: use of Media Manager and use your Blackberry as a USB device.

  • Problem of Sync of Smartphones from blackBerry "BOLD" to BES/Exchange

I work this problem for some time and still cannot find a solution.

BES 4.1.6 (fully patched) on W2k3 fully patched
    BlackBerry "BOLD" (fully updated)
Exchange 2003 (completely up to day/patched) on W2k3 fully patched

When an appointment is entered in Outlook, it syncs popular with the "BOLD". When an appointment is entered into the "BOLD", it is not sync with Outlook/Exchange. Here's what I've tried so far:

    Patch all
Check that the two 'specific' DLLs are the same version on the servers Exchange and BES
Return the service book and IT policies
Check that the wireless sync is active on the "BOLD" calendar
Setting of the wireless sync on the BES of "undefined" to "enabled."

Please note that the curves can synchronize both ways without problem.

I am at a loss to know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fixed! I hid the user in the global address list for security reasons. That's what killed the synchronization. Thanks for your efforts on my behalf.

  • Problems syncing of Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop Manager: closed windows program

I have Windows Vista and my BB Desktop manager is v4.5.  Over the past 2 weeks I couldn't sync my BB 8330 closed windows the program after she compares the calendar in outlook and tells me I have a crash of the application.  I read all the threads and instructions to fix this problem and have tried each of the solutions, but to no avail.  I am at a loss to know what to do now.

I found the solution!   There was a corrupt outlook calendar entry.  I'm not sure that one but here is what I did to solve the problem: I backed up my data in my device using the backup feature.  Given that I had isolated this calendar was the problem, I then set up my sync not sync calendar and make a one-way sync outllook on my device, replace all data in the device.  I had a successful synchronization and then went I reconfigured my sync to synchronize everything done the two-way synchronization.  Once again, success!  Thanks for all the suggestions you gave.

  • Problems of Smartphones from blackBerry using Desktop Manager

Thanks to all those of you who are trying to help us with problems. I just spent 2-3 hours reading through different positions, work on my list of questions, etc. I'm not a fast reader, unfortunately. And even glancing to the area of my specific questions, I learned some things. Unfortunately, I have so many questions, it is difficult to imagine how I can find the time to follow along. I have one of those jobs that usually takes much of my time, so sometimes, I may not able to check my personal email for several days.

But this message because he talks to set up the Office Manager, which I had trouble with. But I can't figure out how to get the answers I need. A major problem that I find irritating, it's when I start the DM he always tries to set up the e-mail... I've set up 3 emails that are sent to my BBy, and I am happy with that. One of them is MS Outlook since one of my jobs. But I can't seem to set up something that works to prevent this return each time I start up. I don't know what I'm doing when I'm trying to configure... all the choices that I don't understand, I'm afraid I'll mess up something that works well.

I was interrupted now, so cannot continue my investigation.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry using my BB in Shanghai, China

    Hello

I'm living in China for a while and I have recently purchased an unlocked blackberry "BOLD" button. I bought a PAYG China Unicom SIM and the only thing I seem to be able to access 3G services, i.e. some websites on the browser (not!), the most annoying without any texts or phone calls?
When I try and make calls, I get a message saying that I have not registered for a DLI or IDC? number. I rang China unicom and they said that I tried to call a number international (I wasn't). China Unicom has been extremely useless! I would be very grateful for any info on what this can be and how I can get this to work?

I was also wondering if its possible at all to use BBM here...?

    Thank you

Hey, I just found out that China Unicom's CDMA service supply, but the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a GSM device. You should try Bold 9930 device.

GSM and CDMA are two different technologies. Once the SIM does not work in others.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry using 'Categories' with BB email

I have a number of categories of settings, each containing different partners contacts. I am composing an email, but it seems that only the email addresses of my active category can be seen in the drop-down list when I type a contact name.

I then "turn off" the active category, expecting to be able to see all my contact email addresses - I have that 'see' the e-mail addresses of the active category.

This doesn't seem right? What should I do to 'see' all my contacts when you compose an email (regardless of the active category)?

OK, so if all your filters are not checked, you will compose an email... and you enter the name of the recipient in the To: field... and not all of your choice will appear?

You have Bob Jones in your contacts on the BlackBerry, as you have 'B o b' etc., that contact does not appear?

  • Smartphones from blackBerry using the storm with ATT or tmobile

Worded if someone has unlocked the phone and Ben in the light with the suppliers other than Verizon If so how it you please also, I think I know this but he just place EDGE on GSM towers do not service any 3 g service? Also how do you have it unlocked through Verizon? If yes they charge fees or what term on getting it unlocked?

This guy won't. I unlocked the storm and I use it on ATT and it's great. If you call Verizon and tell them your going abroad but to use a local SIM card to avoid roaming charges, they will unlock the phone. The only problem I have is that the browser has not been set, but everything else works fine. If anyone knows how to get the phone to accept than the config of the browser in the terms of service, please let me know.

  • Cannot send pictures from iPhoto using Outlook. Messages pass through but no images.

I read the Apple help page referenced in other queries, but it did not help me. When I try to send a photo from iPhoto using Outlook (my default mail program associated with a Gmail account), the message goes through but not the picture. I checked the emails contained in iPhoto preferences and Outlook and iCloud are there, but doesn't seem to work I have to drag the photos on the desktop and then attach them to an email in Outlook, but I think the image quality suffers.

Has anyone else had a problem with Outlook? Is it simply not possible to use the two together?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

What version of iPhoto? and the operating system?

Exactly how you share to Outlook?

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer mail from blackberry to outlook - exchange problem

    Hello

We have a probelem yesterday with our Exchange, some may have been delete in Outlook, but there are still on the blackberry, I watch the desktop software but I don't see anything.

I wish I could move the email from the blackberry to Outlook

is there an easy way to do this?

A couple of VP are waiting for me

    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm... so, you have already successfully migrated messages to a non - BES BB. Ok. So that is totally disconnected as well Exchange Outlook? I wish I could test this for you... I thought there was a way to make the BB 1-way synchronization to Outlook. But, even once, I him didn't so that's all the theory right now... your work will prove it or not.

Hmmm... Maybe the synchronization isn't the best way. The file IPD that you used to migrate data from the real BB to this non - BES BB... this file is not natively readable by anything other than the desktop software from RIM (to be used for the restoration). But, I have heard (but never used) 3rd party applications that can analyze the file and extract information. Maybe you can get those? The only one I remember is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)... but I don't know if it is available. You might find something (probably not free) who might get what you need from the IPD file however.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9700 used to synchronize with Mac

    Hello

I just moved from your PC Windows 7 on MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.7

I downloaded Blackberry desktop for mac, version 2.0.0.65

My bold 9700 has recently been upgraded to OS 6 (v6.0.0.48 platform 6.6.0.124), after the OS upgrade, my PC is well synchronized.

But now that I moved to Mac, I can start the BB desktop software, which prompts me to connect to the phone. I connect via a USB cable and the phone prompts to select USB drive, Media Sync or Charge Only.

I tried all 3 options, but after this selection, nothing changes on the BB desktop software, and I can not sync. I tried a hard reset on the phone then by restarting the mac.

Still no joy, can anyone help please?

It took me a few days to come up with this solution:

The problem revolves around Mac OS X 64-bit OS and Blackberry Desktop Manager for 32-bit OS.

Thus, you need to restart your mac while holding down keys 3 and 2 at the same time, which will start your Mac in 32-bit. You will then be able to sync your information with Blackberry Desktop Manager. When you restart your mac again, he goes back to 64-bit.
