Sync synchronizes browser.tabs.animate setting

I use sync on 4 or 5 different platforms, and it works fine, but browser.tabs.animate never be synchronized. Quite annoying to change in all: config each time.

Prefs only which are white listed via a pref services.sync.prefs.sync.accessibility. * matching will be synchronized and browser.tabs.animate is not in this list.

  • Browser.Tabs.on.Top parameter does not work in Firefox 29 - please fix this!

    Before v29, browser.tabs.onTop set to false has worked very well. V29 makes this useless parameter, and now I'm stuck now with a browser that looks like a Microsoft or Google. Please fix immediately!

    The beta version of Firefox to the current address has interface Australis which seems different from the UI in Firefox 28 and lower versions.

    The pref pref browser.tabs.onTop is no longer supported in Firefox 29

    You can watch the classic extension theme restaurateur restore some lost features, including the tabs on top.

    You can also move the tabs on the lower position, just above the navigation area without the use of an extension cord with code to userChrome.css that basically, you just give the tab bar a higher value of - moz-box-ordinal-group (most toolbars have a default value for - moz-box-ordinal-group: 1 to show them in the order of DOM).

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #TabsToolbar { -moz-box-ordinal-group:10000 !important; }

  • How can I move my tabs down? browser.tabs.onTop is already set to "false".

    I followed the instructions in the help on this article, but when I got to browser.tabs.onTop, it has already been set to "false". So I tried to put it on true, but there was no change. Go back, it was again set to false, but my tabs are always on top. Please help - it is a problem for me!

    If you miss the module bar and the tabs on the bottom option, you can certainly do with extensions!

  • What happened to Browser.tabs.loadonNewTab?

    When I open a new tab (with ctrl-t) I want to open it on my homepage. There used to be a parameter, Browser.tabs.loadonNewTab, with which I could configure this behavior. It seems to have disappeared. I don't see anything likely in Browser.tabs. Has it disappeared completely?

    Open a new window or tab. In the address bar, type Subject: config.
    If a warning screen is displayed, press the button to be careful .
    That's where Firefox considers the information he should run.
    At the top of the screen is a search bar. Enter browser.newtab.url
    and press ENTER. Browser.newtab.URL
    tells Firefox what to show when a new tab is opened.
    If you want, right click and select Edit. You can change the setting

    topic: Home (Default Firefox homepage),
    on: newtab (displays the more visited sites),
    Subject: vacuum (a blank page),

    or you can enter any web page or Subject: page you want.

    The same instructions are used to the new setting of the window, classified
    browser.startup.homepage.

  • How to get tabs in adressbar, if the parameter 'browser.tabs.onTop' to 'false' does not work?

    I know that firefox once put the tabs on the top, but I got that fixed with setting in "subject: config" the value of 'browser.tabs.onTop' to 'false '.
    Now, after upgrading Firefox to v.29, that this entry is always set to false, however, can't do the tabs below the adressbar (which is super annoying).
    Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Note that you can also do this easily with the code to userChrome.css that basically, you just give to the tab bar a higher value of - moz-box-ordinal-group (most toolbars have a default value 1 to show them in the order of DOM).

    Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

    #TabsToolbar {
    	-moz-box-ordinal-group: 10000 !important;
    }

    The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Want the TABS to below the address bar, in everything: config "browser.tabs.onTop" isn't there

    I want my tabs under the address bar.
    I read the tip to:
    "subject: config" then search for "browser.tabs.onTop" and the value false

    browser.tabs.onTop IS NOT COME UP, IT IS NOT in THE LIST of OPTIONS!

    The very old version of Firefox 10.0.2, you use does not record this setting in a pref, but the file localstore.rdf allowing to memorize it.

      <RDF:Description RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#navigator-toolbox"
                       tabsontop="true" />

    If you insist in this version, then you should find it in view > toolbars tools, or you can right-click on the free toolbar space.

  • How handle _adf.ctrl - State be copied second browser tab?

    Hi all

    I think I met a major bug is initially given to replace the wrong record in the database.

    Here's the scenario:

    1. The user is connected to my request to ADF with UIShell pattern: it is a JSF page with a menu and a region, everything is done through fragments and PPR.
    2. They have an opening for a simple form and seek to plug 3.
    3. They open a second browser tab and copy / paste the URL in this second tab (including the parameter _adf.ctrl - state ).
    4. They immediately see the same State as the first tab of the browser (i.e. they see record 3), and then navigate to a different record, number 4.
    5. They sailed to the first tab of the browser to always see the old record of 3. Then, they decide to update the card 3.
    6. They hit save, and fields at day end in record 4 instead of 3.

    Scary? Yes!

    Essentially of ADF merges because there are two browser windows share the same internal State, which should never happen anyway. It leads to corruption serious date accordingly.

    My questions:

    1 why ADF does not detect this problem from the beginning right? This should be done much like users tend to copy and paste URL all the time.

    2. how to solve this problem in a nice & generic way? I can think of ways (by searching the navigations again, no partial with the same control state, or try using the viewscope), but I'm really the first step encountered this bug?

    JDeveloper: 11.1.2.4.0

    Allright, I've implemented a fix. I did some debugging more and discovered the following:

    Open the first tab:

    ADF-window-Id: w0

    _adf. CTRL-State = 19ahzjct2i_______________7

    Then open the second tab, copy & paste URL:

    ADF-window-Id: w1

    _adf. CTRL-State = 19ahzjct2i15th

    The 15th suffix causes ADF to behave as expected, and the two windows operate independently.

    Now copy the URL address of the first second tab tab once AGAIN:

    ADF-window-Id: w1

    _adf. CTRL-State = 19ahzjct2i_______________7

    State is duplicated and ADF loses track of each window,

    While the window id is clearly different.

    Solution:

    Set up a filter that stores the window ID-adf.ctrl - State, relations in a card on the

    Session. In case the adf.ctrl State is loaded into the wrong window, then it will remove the ctrl-State

    the URL of the request and redirect.

    This is how the filter looks like:

    package org.globalrize.harvest.editor.view.filter;

    import java.io.IOException;

    import java.util.HashMap;
    import java.util.Map;

    a. Yes, Sync will contact the server almost immediately after a new bookmark is added. A slight delay is built to quickly add multiple bookmarks.
    b. sync will contact the server at the launch of Firefox to search for changes made on other devices connected to this sync account.
    c. There is a synchronization toolbar button sitting in the range of customization can be used to "synchronization on demand.
