Misc.CimOemProvidersEnabled is supposed to be located under various advanced however, ESXi 4 is not. Anyone know where the moved the option or y at - it a new way to activate this feature with ESXi 4?

You do not install agents on ESXi directly, they will come in the injected code of VMware/Dell as a variant of ESXi.  Indeed they are not installable on ESXi end-user.  HP already has similar variant for ESXi 3.5.  But to my knowledge, no hardware vendor has ESXi 4 variants yet out.

  • Dell Openmanage 7.4 64-bit on Poweredge 6850 with 2012 Windows Datacenter Server does not recognize the storage controllers

    Hi, masters!

I installed the package Dell OMSA 7.4 (OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WINX64-7.4.0-866_A00) on my Poweredge 6850 with Windows Server 2012 - Datacenter. Everything works fine, except for the storage controller. The OMSA displays the message: no storage controller found. Can you help me?
    Thank you

    Diramos

    Hello Diramos,

That is a difficult question because OMSA stopped supporting older systems of the gen 8 back to 6.x what OMSA 6.5 works with 8 Gen but most customers will find the more stable 5.5 with 8 gen systems.  Now, the other problem is that Sever 2012 is not listed as an operating system supported for Dell 8th gen systems either.  Obviously, it works, since you have it installed, but you may encounter compatibility problems.  Particularly like this this is not a systems management configuration that will work well.

    Windows 2008 R2 work OMSA 6.5.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Can I install Windows vista 64-bit for free if I have the 32-bit version preinstalled (OEM)?

I have Windows Vista 32 bit pre-installed on my computer and now I'm ready to add more memory to my machine.

I've already paid for Windows Vista, when I bought my Dell computer a few years (I "réinstallation DVD Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit").

I guess I can legally get and install the 64 bit version of the same operating system (I mean for free, of course)?   I don't want to pay for Windows 7.

Whether or not it is an option would be between you and Dell.  Copies of the retail Windows come with two discs, but OEM copies that are sold with computers come with one or the other, the one that you ordered when you ordered the computer.  If Dell doesn't want to or can't provide you with a copy, then no one else is able to.

  • Installed the 64 bit version of vista, but need to 32-bit. Help, please!

My Vista 32 bit was removed from my Sony Vaio.  I tried to use a disc of Vista, but after I loaded it, I realized it was a 64-bit version of Vista.  The screen is filled only partially.  I don't have a backup for 32-bit Vista disc, then how I would go from 64-bit to 32-bit Vista so I can have my full screen back?

It is your option to reinstall Vista 32 bit.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • I need to find the 32-bit version of bootsect.exe.

Need the 32-bit version of bootsect.exe

I need to find the 32-bit version of bootsect.exe.  I downloaded Windows 7 Pro 64-bit version of Digital River to upgrade my Dell Inspion Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.  I can't download boosect.exe from the Microsoft Store because I Win 7 through Digital River.  Where can I download this small file.  Someone has to have it.  Thank you.

If you need the 32-bit version because you can't start download 64-bit here is how to make bootable download and install.

Create installation DVD or Flash USB in Windows 7 download

According to what you have downloaded (ISO or .box) and what you have available, you can use one of the links below to create bootable media. Use the methods of USB flash drive, your flash drive must be 4 GB or more. You could also buy the installation DVD if you wish.

DVD from ISO - if you downloaded the ISO file use a burning program to a DVD. You can also use the USB/DVD Windows 7 download tool allows you to create a copy of your ISO of Windows 7 file on a flash drive, DVD or USB.
    http://store.Microsoft.com/help/ISO-tool
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/HT/burnisofile.htm

DVDS from files .box - if you downloaded the. EXE &. Box follow these instructions to make a bootable from download Windows 7 DVD:
    http://www.TomsHardware.com/Forum/1392-63-Windows-upgrade-bootable-guide-having-issues

USB Flash ISO - if you downloaded the ISO file and you want to install Windows 7 using a flash drive:
Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool allows you to create a copy of your ISO of Windows 7 file on a Flash DRIVE or a DVD. To create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive, download the ISO file and then run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. Once this is done, you can install Windows 7 directly from the Flash DRIVE or a DVD.
    http://store.Microsoft.com/help/ISO-tool

USB stick installation files - WinToFlash is a practical application that will help you transfer your Windows 7 installation from a hard drive or DVD to USB flash in a few steps. That you can install Windows 7 from a flash card, USB stick, HDD, etc to your computer or netbook. If you have downloaded the .box file extract everything first. If you have a 4 GB or more large USB key (or external hard drive), and the computer can boot from USB:
    http://www.Softpedia.com/get/system/system-miscellaneous/WinToFlash.shtml

    Then:
32-bit to 64-bit custom clean installation steps

You can use a disk upgrade, but you cannot make a room upgrade from a 32-bit system on a 64-bit system, the only way is to do a custom clean install. This means that you will have to reinstall all your programs, but you can save your files and settings on an external storage before that with Windows Easy Transfer. According to Microsoft the following steps:

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/upgrade-advisor ) to see if there are known issues that may affect the installation and the question of whether you should install the version of 32 or 64 bit Windows 7.

2 back up your files and settings. To avoid losing everything that you will need to save copies of all files, photos and other information that you want to keep an external hard drive. Windows Easy Transfer (http://windows.microsoft.com/windows-easy-transfer ) is a free tool that you can use to copy your information (but not programs) from your PC and then put them after installing Windows 7. If you do not have an external hard drive, you will not be able to use Windows Easy Transfer, instead you can copy the files you want to keep on a USB stick or CD/DVD.

    3. find the discs original installation and license/product keys associated to programs currently on your computer because you will have to manually reinstall your programs after installing Windows 7. You may be able to download programs from the Internet.

4 Medallion the Windows 7 DVD in your PC, reboot, start of the DVD. When asked "which type of installation do you want?" click "Custom (advanced)."

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, you can use Windows Easy Transfer to restore your files & settings and use your installation diskettes to install all your programs.

  • Where can I download the 64 bit version of windows 7 OS?

    Hello.

My warranty on my dell latitude e6500 laptop just recently expired, and of course that means I now have problems

My hard drive crashed, I'm trying to replace it with an SSD.

I intend to reinstall everything on my laptop from scratch, and while im at it I intend to do some updates.

I have windows 7 pro 32 bit Dell DVD re-setup and reinstalling windows XP pro 32-bit DVD, the two discs were supplied with my laptop.

I prefer to use windows 7 64 bit instead of 32 bit, so that I can put more memory in this laptop.

So my question is this: is there a way by which I can download a 64-bit version of the re-installation of windows 7 Dell DVD (an iso file would be nice).

I remember a few years with another computer (non-dell), I was able to go to the website microsoft and request a download free 64-bit to replace my 32-bit installation, is something microsoft still offers, and applies to dell as well? or can I just download a 64-bit version of dell?

I found a dell Backup Recovery Manager in the category downloads available in 32 and 64 bit, for my service tag, is that something that will generate a .iso or windows install package that I can use.

I appreciate any guidance that you guys can give, because my warranty is out and I can't get on the phone or chat online with dell.

You cannot download Dell installation media (or any what Dell media), but you can download Retail media, then activate by phone from Microsoft (NOT Dell) with the key on your COA (keys are interchangeable between the 32-bit/64-bit).

    www.mydigitallife.info/Download-Windows-7-ISO-Official-32-bit-and-64-bit-Direct-Download-Links

You can also use any installation media Dell 64-bit from another machine, borrowed from a friend, or bought on ebay.  In the United States, Dell will send you filter replacement, although ONLY for the bit-level and the version you bought.

  • Y at - it a 64-bit version of 43 FF and it's ready for primetime?

When FF 42 came out the information I had was that the 64 bit version for Windows had not all plug-ins of the 32-bit version. I was left with the impression that he was still developing. At FF 43 moved beyond that?

Yes, I think that it is correct.

As the new 64-bit version was released with the help of Add on a minimum, I want to use next.
When the support or 64-bit modules newly emerge I would dissipate the 32-bit version because I only work on 64 bit systems

Install the Win64 version in a different folder where the 32-bit version is installed, by using the custom option. And if you want to be able to run both versions at the same time create a new profile for Win64.

  • What 64 bit version will go public.

I use the developers of Firefox 64 bit 44.0a2 editions (2015-11-05). Although I think your 64-bit version is great and I would give him no to anything. However, I asked this question more than once "" when he go public and available from your normal download site "I continue to told to different dates and or version numbers, both have come and gone."

I think you do a great job with the new version, but a very poor job of letting your uses to know what is happening. I would like to know or receive an e-mail announcement when this product is available and what should I do to convert my editions of developers on the production version of your product. How can question as I synchronize my options/preferences. You said in one of your answers that Flash Player is the only white listed plugin > what does Pentecost listed mean.

Builds Win64 was also on the more stable beta chain from 37.0b2 build for quality assurance tests.

42.0 Firefox is the first version for Win64, however, it's a key low release because it is not yet listed on www.mozilla.org or www.mozilla.org/firefox/all currently.

You can download Win64 Firefox from the above URL.

Note that if you do not use Firefox Win64 is only the 64-bit Flash Player Plugin white listed to run this, which means no other Plugins in 64-bit (for Windows) will run on Win64 Firefox. If you want to use other Plugins, you Firefox 32 bit (on Windows) and Firefox 32 bits.
