Synchronize Google calendar with Apple calendar

I use Google Calendar but prefer to use the Apple (OS X and iOS) calendar as my interface. Whenever I enter a new event, it may take some time for this event appear in the Apple calendar in my devices. Is it possible to force a sync calendar Apple - again, in OS X and iOS? Thank you.

If you use Google as your calendar server, but using calendar as your interface applications, I think that you create the event in the calendar on your phone or calendar on your Mac. Is this correct? Make sure you have your Gmail account on your iPhone instead of Manuel Fetch.

  • Used to synchronize Google Calendar

Last week, my phone got logged out of my Palm the day profile overnight and since then I had a few problems with my pre, namely that used to sync my Google Calendar.

When I signed in my Palm profile, my calendar was there, but the events were not properly synchronized.  I deleted and readded once, that worked.  However, last night I noticed my calendar was not correct and deleted and readded my account again.  This time, there are no events.  Google shows only one of my calendar accounts, but I can not choose as a default calendar.  When I go into 'Calendar Options', under Google, he said "You will not have calendars enabled for this account."

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I would try to remove all the items for Google; Calendar, Contacts, and electronic mail, restart the device and then add gmail back again once, all others will automatically add. If it does not, I would follow the same steps except I would execute a delete applications and data Device Info, reset the Options, delete Apps & data. You can try the first later if you want to just clean your device, but if you choose this option, run backup manually after removing Google accounts so she does not re-install automatically restore to Palm profile.

If all parts of Google sync are not removed from the device you don't have delete the account at all.

  • Synchronization of the Apple with Google Calendar calendar

I just bought a Macbook of 2016 (El Capitan) and have a Google account.  There are events in my calendar for mac that do not appear on the Google Calendar.  Is there a way to control the initial synchronization to ensure that the timetable for mac replaces Google Calendar?  In other words for one-way synchronization initially?  Thank you!!!

    Hey jma510,

Thanks for posting here! I see that some events that are on your Mac calendar are not displayed on your google calendar. I know it's important to have all your events calendar in the right place so that they can synchronize with all of your devices.

It is possible that the events are not displayed on your google calendar are synchronized with another account like iCloud, or serve a local calendar on your Mac. Check out this resource on the application of schedules: the basics of the Mac: calendar keeps your appointments - Apple Support

On the top left corner of the calendar app, click on "Calendars" to display all the calendars on your Mac, and you can see what the calendar is synchronized.

You can drag the events that are not on Google calendar on the corresponding Google calendar in the left sidebar to move this event to this account.

I hope you have a great weekend!

  • Google Calendar does not synchronize with all calendars.

Just set up my new Surface RT to synchronize my Google calendars, but it is not to shoot the 'other calendars' (shared) I subscribed to by URL. For example, I have a calendar for my dish Uni which is drawn in Google calendars, but does not appear on my Surface because it is not one of "my calendars".

I read that the solution for this on mobile devices is going to http://m.google.com/sync, log and Google Sync allows you to choose which calendars synchronized. (See this section of help here: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139206and is used for Windows http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2430181#googlephones) However, the Surface has a full desktop browser, so I can't access this page there...

Isn't rather stupid that it is not just to sync all of your calendars by default? I mean Holy crap, if I see something in my calendar on my PC I have probably also want to see on my tablet... Any ideas?

Original title: Google calendar sync "other calendars".

Paste my answer to the same question on a different thread (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_rt-ecoms/how-can-i-sync-google-calendar-with-the-calendar/2d2a5311-49b7-434e-9096-34cab2b4d434):

I was finally able to resolve this (work around actually up to MS and Google work things). I followed the following steps:

    1. in IE10 (desktop mode), click the tools (Alt + X)

    2. click on F12 developer tools

    3. in the window that opens, click Tools

    4. expand the "Change user agent string" tab and select "Apple Safari (iPAD)"

    5. return to the window of IE10 and go to this address: m.google.com/sync

    6. connect to your google account if you aren't already.

    7. click on "WindowsMail.

    8. in the URL, you will see this string (without the quotes): "supportMultiCalendars = false". Change cela to "supportMultiCalendars = true" and reload the page.

    9. now your google calendars will be displayed. The main google calendar will be displayed as "my calendars". Other calendars will appear as 'shared calendars' and calendars under this option will not be selected.

    10. in order to select those "other calendars", disable JavaScript in IE10. Do so by following the instructions here (these instructions are for IE9, but also apply to the IE10): http://browsers.about.com/od/internetexplorertutorials/ss/disable-javascript-ie9.htm

    11. Select the calendars you want to add (I don't remember if I was refresh the page before the change takes effect Javascript).

    12. click on "Save".

13 open the calendar application to make sure that your "other Google calendars" now appear in the app.

  • You can synchronize Z 22 with google calendar

Is it possible to synchronize a palm Z 22 with Google calendar?

    Hello bsween,

You want to synchronize your z22 with Google calendar.

I don't think that you can directly.

I wasn't able to find someone who has been able to sync directly to Google Calendar, but some people were using third party programs you can pay, and some might synchronize Outlook, then Outlook to Google Calendar.

I would like to know how everything goes

  • Synchronization of Windows 8 with Google calendar calendar seems to be one way only

I added my Gmail account in Windows Mail 8. E-mail seems to follow successfully between the two accounts.

Things don't work that way with the calendar app. I can see the elements that went into my Gmail account from the application calendar in Windows 8. However, if I add a new item in the calendar of Windows 8, it does not appear in my Gmail Calendar.

My short term solution is to only use one calendar. Because I can be sure of the Google Calendar - and it works fine on Windows, Android and iOS, this is the one I'm sticking with for now.

This is not the answer I was looking for.

  • El Capitan calendar not syncing with Google calendar

    Good afternoon

I tried to sync my iCal with google calendar, and I saw that I must add the google account in system preferences. The problem is that when I try to do, ask my mac for the account details, then I choose what I want to use with this account. When I press the computer blocks and not household to add this account.

It happened right after the update to El Capitan, because before it used to work well.

    Could someone help me please?

    Thank you

    Giada

    Hi Glada Fari,

Looks like you got questions, add your Google account to your Mac after the update to El Capitan? You can try to add your Google account in the Mail application, if the problem occurs in Internet accounts. If the account is successfully added in the Mail application, you can then adjust specific sync services you want to enable in the accounts of the system preferences. If you need a few quick steps to add the account in the Mail application, please follow the links below.

Use the mail on your Mac.

OS X El Capitan: preferences of Internet accounts

This should allow you to set up your Google calendar as you like. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.

  • Is there a way to sync google calendar with lightning more?

Use the link google xml support page of mozilla for the lightning with a google calendar synchronization. (found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar)

Google says that ceased to support the xml feeds for the calendar.
    https://productforums.Google.com/Forum/#! Msg/calendar/Z9SRXUh93xI/EodxtxgyAQAJ; context-location = forum/calendar

Y at - it another (easy!) way to make the synchronization of two calendars, or keeps them to be able to go both ways?

    Thank you!

CalDAV is the way to go, it's better than XML in my opinion as well.

When you add your network calendar provide endpoint dav gmail for your calendar as URL

The Google dav URL is kind of hidden, but not much so.

Click the arrow next to the name of calendar on Google.
    Select the calendar settings
The address of the calendar on the page, there is an icon to ICAL and HTML. It is followed by the ID of the schedule.

    The url to use is

https://apidata.googleusercontent.com/CalDAV/v2/the calendar ID of the web/events page
So if your calederId is [email protected]
    The url must be
    https://apidata.googleusercontent.com/CalDAV/v2/[email protected]/events

  • iCal will sync with google calendar after update

After the update to El Capitan, the calendar on the macmini syncs with google calendar.  Are there previous events to google calendar but nothing new will come and nothing new on the mac mini will return to google.

Found a few other posts about it, but their instructions do not work on the mac mini (for example a statement saying select google and click on the sign less - there is no sign less!)

I looked for a way to remove the gmail out of the mac mini calendar but can't find a way.  I can just uncheck the calendar.  Using mini mac just says if you can't remove a calendar on the mac mini to go and remove it out of google.  I don't want to do that.  The google calendar sync very well to our cell phones and Outlook on the Windows PC.  Google calendar is Center of maintaining us immediately the same way and I don't want to delete it just to try to fix the bug of El Capitan darn!

I have tried the calendar time, but he acknowledges that he is already in the mac mini.

I disabled the gmail calendar.  restarted the computer.  again check the gmail calendar.  but the only thing that comes up is the previous items.  I still can't sync it with google gmail ical calendar.

What should I do next to get the ical to sync with google calendar?

Please stop calendar and also the application of reminders, runs. Force quit if necessary.

    Back up all data.

If you synchronize agendas or reminders with a network such as Google service, please open the preferences panel Internet accounts. Make a note of the settings for calendar accounts, then delete and recreate.

Log off or restart the computer.

Launch schedule and see if there is an improvement.

  • iCal will sync with Google Calendar after upgrade of El Capitan

I upgraded MacBook Pro my wife at El Capitan today.  We lost the google sync that has been put in place and now his iPhone and Gmail are synchronized, but no entry calendar is syncing to iCal on Mac. A workaround is to stop using iCal, but we loved it.  Only, we have the gmail account on the as an iCal calendar and have not checked in the settings of iCloud calendar.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  I'm in the doghouse...

    Hi, jdemeritt.

    Please visit Apple support communities.

It seems that your Gmail Calendar events are no longer in the calendar once you upgrade to El Capitan.  Let's start by making sure that the calendar synchronization is enabled in system preferences > Internet accounts > Gmail.  If this option is not enabled, please enable this option and a few minutes before the data to download.  Verify that the correct Gmail account is added to his accounts on the internet.  In addition, be sure to check Gmail.com to check that these calendar events are present.

OS X El Capitan: add your Twitter, Facebook and other Internet accounts

If calendar synchronization option is enabled, disable synchronization of calendar to Gmail and turn it back on.

I would like to know the result of these steps.

  • Two days of vacation after syncing with Google Calendar

Have a new issue to me. Was trying to find a way to add US holidays and seemed formidable via wise webOS. A Google account was added to the TouchPad.

Found a way to add public holidays to Google Calendar, so that applied the first.

Then synchronize with the TouchPad Google Calendar... and ended up with two days of holiday. Wanted to know what day that the party was on, not having to guess between two different days! /GRR

Now in order to show that in fact there no vacation were included, in order to answer the question that would probably follow... I disabled the holiday that has been added to the calendar calendar Google to show that they have not exist wihtout it.

"Seems fine, the issue cleared up after the holidays to Google calendar calendar, then applying one of the Browse interesting calendars ' again.

Synchronized the TouchPad twice before she showed the new calendar, and then there was a lag before the holidays have been applied.
Now displays as does my Google Calendar.

and 96 times a day... 672 weekly... etc...

Finally 35 040 times per year
