    When Lr Mobile sharing it restores the original image?

    as the FAQ says Lightroom mobile synchronizes original JPEG, PNG and video files captured by your mobile device in the creative cloud. Lightroom desktop creates and synchronizes the images in the cloud in the form of intelligent insights. Smart insights are more small versions of your files in origin, roughly 1.5 or 2 MB in size, that hold all the flexibility of a raw file. Changes to chip previews automatically synchronize with your originals. The original files remain on your desktop and are not stored, synchronized or used by Lightroom for mobile. As a result, Lightroom for mobile should not be used as a backup service.

    When I save a photo from Lr Mobile on my phone he uses this intelligent overview of 2 MB right? What did this to my original data and things like that.

    Hi Chrizly,

    If the time that you synchronize the images of the Lr Mobile Lr Office, the original image will remain on your phone, but Lightroom will create smart image previews.

    The data remains the same on your phone.

  • Cannot restore from a backup

    I cannot restore from a backup and don't know why.

    I have a Crucial SSD of BX100 in my mid 2010 MacBook Pro. It is divided into two partitions. I got Snow Leopard on a partition and Yosemite on the other. For some reason any I've never understood the Snow Leopard guarded beachballing partition. This happened if often that I decided to wipe the disk and reinstall from my backup, do it before the beachballing began to occur.

    But I can't restore. I wiped the drive of a Snow Leopard system, repaired and reformatted. The drive is not Core Storage, this is Mac OS extended (journaled). When I try to restore the restore on it works for about two minutes and then stops. Finally, I get a message saying that the disc has been ejected incorrectly.

    I noticed that when I receive information on the drive, an element appears different from other readers and which corresponds to the element, owners enabled: no each other drive I've seen says owners enabled: Yes. Is it all just because there is no system on the partition?

    Also "ignore ownership on this Volume" must be checked or unchecked?

    Suggestions welcomed, I am baffled by this.

    Snow Leopard erase and install

    1. Insert the Snow Leopard DVD in the optical drive and restart the computer.
    2. Immediately after hearing the chime hold down the C key.
    3. Release the button when the Apple logo appears and wait for loading to complete.
    4. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the continue button. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu.  After disk utility charges select the entry out-bumpy in the list aside (mfgr. size ID and disc drive.)  In the right side of the disk utility window, click the Partition tab.  Set the number of sheets to (1) on the menu drop down. Click the Options button and select GUID, click on OK, the value of the Mac OS Extended journaled format type. Finally, click on the apply button.
    5. Once the format is complete, quit disk utility.  Continue with the installation of OS X and follow the directions.
    6. Once installation is complete, the computer will restart in the installation wizard. After completing the Setup Wizard, you will use a new installation of Snow Leopard. Open the software update and install updates recommended.
    7. If you plan to sell or to give to your remote computer, then proceed as follows: once you reformat your hard disk and reinstall Snow Leopard, the computer restarts with a welcome screen. To leave the Mac in a State OOTB (Out Of The Box), do not continue with the Setup program. Instead, press the command and Q keys to stop the computer. The installation wizard will guide you the new owner through the installation procedure, after that it turns on the computer.
    8. Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 v1.1 updated Combo. If necessary. It is not necessary if you are selling or giving your computer away.
  • restoration of original image

    I have a laptop with vista hp, have had a lot of problems trying to download the updates of windows and have nothing on the machine that I miss. tried to reformat hard drive and restore to original image, the process starts but after a minute or two, it says error and stops and I do not have the os disc

    If you continue to have problems with the resumption of the process of factory settings, you will need to contact the manufacturer.
    It is their software/recovery process, not Microsoft.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them how to properly use the recovery on your computer/laptop Partition to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • ESXi 3.5 Update 4 virtual machines cannot boot from ISO image stored on the server

    Ok

    If I have one of my virtual machines of ESXi configured to use an ISO image sitting on my server ESXi, they cannot boot from this image.  This is after you click "ESC" during startup in order to change the startup CD-ROM.  I have this a known issue, or I'm just doing something wrong?  If I have the vms use an ISO sitting on my desktop (using Infrastructure Client) it works fine.

    Or the answer is even simpler, make sure I connect at power on.

    OK, Yes!  But some of the things we take for granted... haha...

  • restore from backup image

    I have an Acer Aspire E1-571-6856, Windows 7 64 - bit, 4 GB RAM, 2.6 ghz core i5, 4000 hd graphics card

    I have created a backup of the image using Acer Backup Manager.

    There is no option to restore from Acer although backup recovery image.

    How can I restore backup images?

    I don't think that you can load your restore with Acer erecovery media point, since normally is used to re - install from scratch the BONE.

    You must create your own media recovery with the same software that you created in the backup image, which will no doubt help to load the backup image.

  • cannot restore from the previous date says computer is unprotected I just get rid of the virus of audit system

    rid of virus check system but cannot restore the computer to the previous date

    You never said how you got rid of the "System Check" malware. As far as we know, he is still there. Follow these instructions (if you have not already done so):

    Also, as Jose pointed out, there are programs that are designed to interfere with the system restore (Norton is one of the most common). But there are really two questions. First of all, we will treat your malware problem. We can always revisit SR at a later date.
    Finally, even once as Jose pointed out, you NEVER run the system restore after the removal of the malware! Which could only bring him back! That you have to turn it off and then put it again, which will REMOVE all previous restore points. You really all gone!
  • Cannot restore the system image backup in Windows 7

    Hello

    Im trying to use the recovery process of Win7 system standard Image for the first time and its does not work.  I'm recovering the image on my hard C primary, internal to the system drive.  I backed up correctly a Win7 system on an external hard drive image.  To restore I connect in the Control Panel on my system (still ongoing) and select the advanced option to retrieve my disc image.  The process stops then the pc and it restarts automatically.  Then he finished "Windows loading files...". "Then I select my keyboard for data entry, click ok.   Then the process correctly detects and automatically selects my last image of backup on the external drive system.    The next step begins the problem.

    The option 'delete existing partitions to reformat the drive... '. "is grayed out and inaccessible.  The only other option is: "install the drivers for the drives, you are restoing to... could solve the problem."  Also, "insert media for the device and click OK to install the drivers." I have a new HP Pavilion Desktop with Wn7-64 bit and HP has its own recovery on C partition and there is also another unknown partition (to me) it.  I was provided the only brackets installtion / have the HP recovery disk and the recovery of Win7 boot floppies that I burned after buying oringal.  Therefore, I select the button Install Drivers with no media of installtion and I see the Windows/System32/drivers folder. I can only select one driver at a time, I tried what I thought were the pilots of C - IE disk.sys, partmgr.sys, snapman.sys and tdrpm.sys and all of them return the error msg "specific location contains no information about your hardware."  I also tried to use the two recovery discs that I burned, but they resulted in a similarly generic error message.

    Drive C is very well so I am at a huge loss as to what the standard restore process of the operationg system image is looking for and why missing drivers for drive C?  Can someone please explain what this process needs so I can restore the system image?

    Thank you, roggsf

    FYI... I was able to recover my Win7 System Image by using the external backup and the ERD of Win7.  I am now more confident that backups of the system can be invoked in the event of a disaster.

    The process was/is still a bit confusing because it faced the same problems with the possibility of "remove existing divides to reformat the drive" grayed out and inaccessible.  And the other option: "install the drivers for the drives, you are restoing to... could solve the problem" is still a mystery to me.  However, using the repair disk, I was able to bypass the need to use one of these two options, click Next, and start and finish the process of recovering successfully.

    I hope that someone will be examine and solve problems with recovery only the Panel since it is the recommended approach (to a working system).  I'm a happy computeree once more.  Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hello

    As far as I know, this unit was designed for the American market.
    I m not 100% sure how the recovery procedure works on the American units but normally you should see 2 options; Standard recovery procedure and expert recovery procedure.

    It should be necessary only to boot from the recovery cd and choose one of two options.
    Well, I put t really know why you laptop hangs. Perhaps the formatting of the HARD drive can help, but this is only a suggestion.

  • iPhone 4 cannot restore from iTunes

    I'm trying to restore an iPhone 4 from iTunes, but I forgot the password. But when I try to restore it, it asks me to disable find my iPhone, but I can only do as I forgot the password. I want to restore it from a backup, and I do not want to reset to factory settings as there is a lot of data app I want to keep. It is not connected to the Internet somehow, since there is no way for me to connect to WiFi without knowing the password, and I have no valid SIM that fit in this. So I can't remove it from iCloud.com or any other device. I tried to turn it off by intentionally entering the wrong code several times, but that makes my computer does not recognize my phone at all. I did somehow your phone is more off making it run out of battery. The Apple ID was transferred to my account at my son's account (we have family sharing) some time ago and all backups are in the iCloud and without spare parts on my computer.

    Is their anyway to back up the phone on my computer without entering the password, so I can't erase the phone by other methods and that restore with backup on the computer? Thank you in advance.

  • Replaced the bad motherboard and cannot restore from recovery disks

    I replaced a card Pegatron M2N78 - mother in a Pavilion p6130y PC and I tried to restore to the recovery disks, but he says that the restore disks will not work on this system.  Really, I care is in accordance with the operating system (Vista), I don't want to pay for what I have already.  Research I've done shows that the old motherboard was known to be defective.  During the troubleshooting process, the recovery process was started, but then is broken when the card mother crapped out and didn't not recognize SATA devices.  When trying to start, he knew and then wouldn't recognize them, usually about 75/25% respectively.  Because of this, I can't just start it on the HARD drive and update the existing drivers and update the Vista license.  I have more money to buy only 7.

    How can I get the installed operating system or perform a full recovery on this system?

    Hello:

    The recovery disks only works on exact material they were made for.

    Because you have installed a different motherboard, at microsoft a new motherboard = a new PC.

    OEM licenses are licenses that computers come with HP (and any other manufacturer).

    This means that they are good only for that specific PC and cannot be transferred to another PC or motherboard.

    Q. a PC with an operating system of Windows OEM may have its motherboard updated and keep the same license? What happens if it was replaced because it was defective?
  • Cannot boot from ISO image

    Hello

    I have a server ESXi 4.0 on a four-core AMD machine. I'm trying to start a win XP VM using an ISO image (which I already downloaded to the data store on the server using the VSphere client).

    In the settings of the virtual machine, I changed the boot sequence to boot from the CD, but it never starts CD. It still gives this error:

    PXE - E51: no DHCP or proxyDHCP received

    PXE - M0F: Exit Intel PXE ROM

    Operating system not found

    I tried with options but I was not able to start this machine to install the virtual machine. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Omer

    The option, during startup, allows to manually select the CD player (that would be the ISO image)... Also, make sure that the cd/dvd drive is on "sign in to turn on. If the MV is running, you can also select / the checkbox 'connected '. If you have not configured to connect to turn on, then it will never see the drive, then you will not be able to boot from the ISO file...
