  For my Z1, after the last update of jellybean Android Xperia, some of my apps crashes.   7b error message indicates the operation SATA (SATA Mode) setting got changed in the BIOS Setup or possibly the hard drive may be roasted.

Look for the option SATA or SATA Mode operation (models name it differently).  I don't see the BIOS screen options in the online manual, but the options for this parameter can be: RAID, AHCI or RAID Autodetect / ATA.   This is because the directory where rip use to point to is no longer exsits. Try to redo the path were rip used to point on (no need to re - move your personnel records around simply create the path were rip stressed then you can delete it later), as soon as you have the right way, the dialogue of rip in WMP will appear again and you will be able to change it. See also this post, if I understand your Angie OP you did most of this, but see my post at the bottom might give you a clue as to have been rip said if he can't remember.
