There is an internal battery that stores the settings of the system when the computer is turned off.  Looks like yours needs to be replaced.  Consult the manual that came with the computer and/or web support site to see if it is something that you can replace or if you need assistance, replace it.  In most computers, it is fairly easy to replace, in the majority of laptops almost impossible.

Now, I recognized that Win7 Manager energy shows that 67% remaining at full charged battery...
I checked with several energy programs - all expect a 15V for battery voltage.

This happens with 3 different batteries.
Does anyone else have this problem? No idea how to say that the battery has only 10.8V to Win7?
I tried to reinstall the drivers from the battery and ACPI - but it did not help.
Multiple load / uncharging also showed no change.

    How old is the battery?
Each battery would start to lose own performance after about 500 charge cycles.
    This should be considered.

    PROBLEMS WITH THE COMMISSIONING

    Hi roy,.

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · What is the heating of the computer at startup?

According to my research, there seems to be problem with the CMOS battery. I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the computer.

Important: changing the BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • Brand new Windows 7 system: battery plugged in, not supported

I just got a brand new Acer Aspire 5542-1462 with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. I have almost exclusively while plugged operated. Battery in the notification area icon indicates that the battery is at "97% (plugged in, does not support)." How can I get the battery charge? Is there a threshold above which it does not load? Some features of the system if they will help you:

    AMD Athlon II X 2 M300 2.0 GHz
    4 GB OF RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card
    battery Li-ion 6 cells

My power profile is balanced with the only change so that everything always remains that plugged while. This is my first Windows 7 machine after years with XP, so I am new to the operating system. I searched around the internet and here and can't find anything.

    Hey,.

    This is how it works:

    1. When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is more than 95%. you will get the message "connected but no charging current.

    2. When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is less than 95%, you will see the message "blocked and charge" until the battery reaches 100% (not 95%). That is why sometimes, even if you see that your battery is at 97% and load, this means before starting your laptop, the battery was less than 95% and reached 97% since then.

Apart from the above explanation it seems some problems with the mentioned error. So, try the following steps as well.

    1. click on Start and type device in the search for field, and then select Device Manager .
2 expand the category of batteries .
    3. under the batteries category, right-click in the list of Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and choose Uninstall .
WARNING : do not remove the Microsoft AC adapter driver or any other compatible ACPI driver.
    4. on the taskbar of the Device Manager, click on Search the hardware changes .
You can also select Action > search the hardware changes .

    Give that a try!

  • Off battery voltage

    Help!

I don't know how I managed to do it, but when I go to change the battery of 10 Volts to 12 Volts I can't do.  The value field is 'X' out and marked restricted.

    What have I done?

    Hi Don,

I think that you have accidentally enabled the restrictions of the circuit.

This can be disabled by going to Options > Circuit Restrictions and by unchecking the checkbox hide component values.

    Kind regards

  • Xps420 Msg of error at startup

I have an OFFICE XPS420 computer that has begun to show an error message on the screen started several months ago.

"low system battery voltage, press F1 to continue, F2 to enter setup".

Pressing F1 and then continuous boot up fine and everything seems to work fine until the next time that I reboot and I have to be there for press F1 or it does not start.  Pressing F2 does not indicate that anything is configured as a laptop (which is what the error message looks like) or that something has changed or is configured incorrectly I would say.

Anyone has any ideas, what happens?

These batteries do not last forever.  Duracell DL2032 are inexpensive and easy to replace.  DO NOT Flash the bios.

    Replacing the battery

ATTENTION: before you begin any procedure in this section, follow the instructions given in the Product Guide of Information.
NOTICE: To avoid damage to static components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from your body before touching one of the electronic components of your computer. You can do so by touching a metal surface unpainted chassis of the computer.

A battery maintains computer configuration, date, and time information. The battery can last several years. If you need to reset time and several times the date information after turning on the computer, replace the battery.

ATTENTION: a new battery can explode if it is incorrectly installed. Replace the battery only with the same type or equivalent recommended by the manufacturer. Discard all used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • System low battery power

I had this problem for months. Essentially, each start up my 9100 Dimension tells me that the battery voltage is low. A few months ago, I bought some batteries CR 2032, knowing that the first time I had this problem a few years ago cleared up the problem. I decided to replace this battery again, thinking it was defective. I unplugged all the cables connected to the computer and replace the battery a few minutes earlier at about 22:52 and restarted my computer. I still get the same error I have. I came to think that it is something else. Anyone know what could be the problem?

You can run Dell Diagnostics or some of the tests on the Ultimate Boot CD.

    http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

A computer for 5 years (or MORE) came at the end of his life. I highly doubt that it is the CMOS battery, since you have replaced and it is unlikely that the replacement battery is bad. I keep your data backed up very regularly and start looking for a replacement machine. In the meantime, could continue to run the Dimension 9100 until one day it no longer works. This, IMO, that will happen sooner rather than later. You can ask your question on the Dell user forums or look at the links my search Google grew up, but honestly I would not spend money serious on such an old machine. I'm sorry that I didn't have a definitive answer for you.

  • Battery Equium A300D - 16 c died

I bought this laptop about 3 years ago and the battery died recently. I tried to replace it with a battery Toshiba not fitted with the part number. This battery does not work.

When I put the game in and it rebooted the laptop would make mention of the fact that there is no battery and the battery light would flash.

However when I unplugged the laptop would run off the battery voltage but the laptop still say that there is no.
I assumed that this battery was defective if returned and bought a Toshiba battery which is manufactured by Toshiba and the same battery as my old man.
It is the same part number as my old battery challenge, but he has the same problem as the previous battery.

I've updated the system BIOS when I bought the first laptop battery so I don't think that.
I also downloaded another program for battery drive called "Battery maintenance", but he also says that the battery does not exist even when I unplug and run the laptop off the battery said.

The original battery supplied with the laptop to purchase is yet recognized but keeps only fees for about 15 minutes due to age.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello

I let the laptop connected to the power adapter with the purchased new battery any longer. Leave it connected a throughout the night and then recheck if the battery is charged.
You must also set the BIOS to values by default while the new battery is connected.

Finally and above all I advise you to buy the battery directly from Toshiba ASP in your country. In this case, you can be sure that you would get from the original parts that are 100% compatible with the portable 100%

Mine has not been used for a few months and the battery is completely flat and is not supported.

I want to check battery volts and check that there volts at the terminals in the computer.

    Hello

Unfortunately, there isn't any info on battery pin out. These documents are available only for the Toshiba ASP.

But the battery charging is controlled by a microprocessor to power supply which is mounted on the system board. Power of orders by microprocessor if the accusation is enabled or disabled and detects a full charge when the power adapter and the battery are connected to the computer. The system charges the battery in charging or trickle charge.
Normal load (power) 8 hours or more
Fast (power off) charge about 4 hours

    Fast battery charge:
When the adapter is attached, there are two types of fast charging: charging when the system's power off and normal load when the system is turned on.

However, if the following occurs, the battery charging process stops.

    1. the battery is fully charged.
    2. the power adaptor or the battery is removed.
    3. the output or battery voltage is abnormal.
    4. the temperature of the battery is abnormal.
    5. battery SMBus communication fails.
    6. the battery cell is bad.

In your case, it is possible to s that the batteries are dead, and you need a new battery.
