Ideas: I'm trying to get this video card installed properly on my computer.

The video card is inserted and the drivers installed from the provided CDrom. After his stop, the monitor was then plugged in video card and commissioning, the screen remained black. After restarting again (this time with monitor plugged orginal spot), the monitor worked this time, but after less than a minute, the screen would go black again. This has happened several times until the drivers were uninstalled more information: the motherboard had only pci slots. Thus, this pci video card was purchased. Likely issues are the following: updated drivers may be required, which and where to download them. There is a possible problem with disabling edge graphics tricks to avoid any problems with the video card. I can't find instructions on how to manually turn off for the video card. There is a possible problem with the power supply. not sure if it can handle the card as it is probably a piece of _ stock. (even more than the video card anyway) There is a possible problem with the video card power. It came with no power cable in the box, but he has a 2-pin power connector folded under the heatsink visible in the picture on newegg. do I have to go buy this cable at radio shack or look for one inside a computer at 2nd hand store is 10 cents? If I need to do, how would I you plug it into the motherboard? I found pin locations on the motherboard that read stuff like "LED" and «CaseFan» who will carry enough juice? There is a possible future problem this map should operate. heat. It is a tiny bit case without high flow. What can I do to make sure the thing is not melting after 3 months or melt this summer when it's really hot here? make a pci slot fan that works inside the case for blow air deal on the passive cooling thing for the video card? It is best to take the side of the box power off and put up a giant fan pointed directly on the Open box? What are the possible options are there? • Original title: System hangs when you open Add/Remove programs

    Original title: System hangs

Windows XP crashes each time I have open the control panel and try to view add or remove programs (it also crashes in safe mode). He locks also after has been idle for a few minutes. I tried selective startup mode and the shutdowns continue to be committed. All the screensavers and standby/hibernation modes are turned off. I ran the diagnostics and only met with a 2000-0146 error code. Any other ideas out there?

I was finally able to save all my data and was able to reformat my existing hard drive. I also reinstalled XP SP3. I finally got all the drivers reloaded and have reinstalled virus protection. So far, everything seems to be back to the standard...

  • When you've been a long game my system hang and see a blue screen?

When you've been a long game my system hang and see a blue screen?

You gave us a general indication of the nature of the problem but the specific error reports are a much easier solution.

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Do right click on the icon my computer on the desktop and select Properties, advanced, startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.

    Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell

  • System hangs for a minute when sending emails in Windows Mail.

    Original title: Windows Mail problem.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • When I try and create e-mail or reply to a message, the system hangs for a minute before moving forward
    • Error messages - if you try and press the button create again, he says not responding do not
    • Recent changes made to your computer - no recent changes
    • What you have already tried to fix the problem - nothing
Ensure that Avast is not set to analyze them.  That happens for every email or only the first message that you create?  Responses take longer?  You have a large list of contacts or a large number of fonts installed?  Both of these can slow down WinMail.

In addition, after the removal of Norton, you must set the mail settings for the account, so its best to remove the e-mail account, close and reopen WinMail, and then add it again.

    Steve

I got rid of Norton and actually put on Avast anti virus lately. As I said when I hit Create Mail I get a message saying "windows mail does not" and then after about 45 seconds it comes up and I can send emails. I used this Windows Mail utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) to compact and repair the database and it has not changed much.

The netio.sys is a Windows driver that is involved in the "networking."

The process that crashes regularly is avgnsa.exe which is a process of AVG.

I would say to uninstall AVG and see if the accidents to solve.

He also seems to be a remnant of a previous installation of Trend Micro (tmtdi.sys) driver.

  • Possible problem HARD drive - by clicking on the sound and the system hangs on Qosmio G30 - 116

    Hello

I just got my G30-116 return of service (replacement of the screen) and after 2 days another problem. He just continues to hang out.

I do not change a thing since I got it and now it just stop working on things sometimes like browsing the internet. It has not happened before. And my biggest concern is the trigger that made my hard drive.

What can be wrong? It not crash until I have it sent to the service, I think that my hard drive is defective... Thank you

What to say? If you can not find out why freeze the problem occurs, try to preinstall the operating system with recovery DVDs delivered.

In any case, from your description, I'm afraid there is a serious problem with HARD drive and it can be simply worse then now. Please be sure that your data is backed up.

Please contact service again and explain the situation. If the HARD drive is faulty, you will get a new, and if they have the HARD drive on stock, it can be replaced very quickly. G30 is lovely and I hope that you will be satisfied. A few days ago my friend visited me and we have tested his G30 with HD-DVD player on my LCD TV. I can tell you one thing: I am really impressed with the HD picture quality.

    Good luck!

No, it should not be, Windows 7 uses a file system that is logged, so recovery should not be a problem, the system will pick up where it left off.

I recommend do you a manual download and install updates that have been incriminated by go http://www.microsoft.com/downloads.

  • Window remains white screen after starting windows screen. the system hangs after Mup.sys on safe mode

The title pretty much everything said.

The problem occurred on a fault that Dell Vostro 2510 with the additional option should only do the downgrade of Win Xp (from Vista).  As noted, on normal startup, the system will remain in a blank screen after the Windows Xp "loading" screen.  And on safe mode, it will join Mup.sys and then hang there.

The closest thing that I got from a web search was a thread in forum saying that the official info from Microsoft was that it was a question of Win Xp/motherboard (http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/31874/?o=40 halfway to a post by Bobb Fwed).  The poster provided no link, so I don't know how official his info was really.
