  I really thought that my cell phone was dead and ready for use.  I took it in the office the next day so I could call Dell Support Pro. Just for fun, I plugged with the AC adapter and tried to turn it on - viola!  It started working again.

  I had this problem once before, and he began to work after 2-3 resets hard. I was working on a proposal when the laptop went down. I tried reset hard over a period of 4 hours with no result. It baffles me why it start OK the next day morning.

  I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.  I am running the A07 BIOS (the most common) and my 12 XPS is configured with 8 GB of memory and 256 GB SSD with an i7 and Intel wireless card.

  OK - I narrowed down it to the following:

  When the laptop is "asleep", it will finally in power mode.   Thank you for your message.  To elaborate on the post of bika, this feature has been by design, it allows people to continue to load specific devices (phones, mp3 players, etc.) once they were ejected from the aircraft.  Once you have removed your device safely, you will incur no damage even if the light is still on.  Are you sure that the grinding you hear isn't a fan in the system so that there are still cold?

• laptop will not power. No blue light with ad adapter not plugged in.

  Lately, I've been jump the battery in and out to get the laptop (dv6) to propel to the top. This afternoon after a morning's work, the blue laptop ac adapter light does not illuminate and the laptop will not power.
  Naturally, I suspect the battery, but maybe it's the AC adapter. If all goes well, it is not the computer itself!

  Any ideas on what I should buy first. Am on business in Dubai and desperate!

  I bought a new battery and everything works as it should.
  The real question now is why stop a bad battery the notebook powered with the AC adapter is plugged?

• Inspiron 1545 will not be turned on, seeing as a pulse mode 'sleep'

  My Dell Inspiron 1545 has been sitting for a while, and when I went to plug it and try to use it, it will not turn on. All I got is a lightweight "forced" power as when it is in sleep.

  I recently replaced the battery and the charger, because the original battery was shot and the shipper was in horrible shape. I also replaced the power Jack earlier because the pins inside were bent and the laptop has been no power.

  Thank you for the update.

  Well, when you turn on the system, if you hear the rotation of the fan and HARD drive, turn it on, connect an external monitor and check if there are any which screen.

  Reinstall the cmos battery and check when possible. Given that the system is powered from the adapter, at this stage, I do not suspect the adapter. Also, remove the memory and disconnect the HARD drive and check if the system turns on and beeps - indicating a lack of HDD / memory.

  As stated in my previous post, if all else fails and the indications do not change, I suspect the motherboard.

  These days it would be closed to chance especially when watching Youtube videos. I've recently updated my driver video so cancelled yesterday. This morning when I woke up, it was off, I let it run all the time so I knew that he was stopped again. I hit the power button, the power came a few seconds then turns off back.   You will first need to login to your account on your device iOS 10 iCloud (not your Apple TV) and configure the application from home with your HomeKit accessories. Once this has been done, you can use your iCloud account to configure your Apple TV as a reception center and control your accessories HomeKit use Siri on your Apple TV.

  You can use the steps to use the home on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch app to make sure that everything is configured correctly.

• HP 7520: reinstalled OS now will not automatically turn on

  I recently reinstalled my operating system and since then could not get the printer to behave in the way which he used to.  (don't know if it's important but MacBook Pro is my system, Yosemite running).

  Before the new operating system when we invited a document to print, the printer wireless turn what ever computer or device.  Now he must go, and then press the power button and it does never print the document that we asked.

  My laptop prior (T41p) was also able to use the monitor through the same port of the KVM switch... only change was to replace T41p with upgrade to T400... If I ignore the KVM switch and connect the monitor directly on the T400, everything is OK.

  I thought that the laptop monitor output was only outgoing, but the error message seems to indicate that there is a way to detect if something is attached to the monitor on the T400 output connector. My suspicion is that some info the T400 expected when a monitor is attached is not return through the KVM switch, but...

  Well speak of the devil, I moved the Ram in slot 1, since it was not positioned in slot 1, but 4 and now the dell is starting up and works FINE... which is great!  I am a woman with a bit of left brain!

• Camera will not stop turning
