T420 without wireless/Bluetooth
Is there a way to enable or disable the wireless/bluetooth radio when the T420 is connected and using an external keyboard? I can't open the cover on the T420 each time to use the Fn + F5 keys when it is docked.
Create a shortcut to C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe, place it wherever you want.

Help!
Hello
You can use the USB stick Bluetooth and if the configuration is just to avoid any problems. Please check if Toshiba Bluetooth stack is already installed on your device. If so you can use it for the Bluetooth connection.
I use the WIFI and Bluetooth on my Tecra and it works perfectly. Use of Bluetooth has no influence on the WIFI connection and you can continue to use it.

Pls Help! Uninstall Intel without wireless/Bluetooth
Pls help! I try to upgrade to Windows 8 but Update Wizard says that I should uninstall "Intel proset wireless/Bluetooth" for reasons of compartibility. I used "Microsoft Fix IT" to uninstall. I tried the upgrade, and he says "Intel Wireless/Bluetooth to uninstall manually.
The problem now is that I checked the Add/Remove Programs to uninstall it, but can't find it. He is no longer with my installed programs.
PLS, can anyone help me? I don't know where to find it to uninstall it. I use ASUS A55VD-SX050V, Intel Core i7-3610QM, Nvidia Geforce 610, Windows 7.
OR IS THERE A WAY I CAN MOVE TO WINDOWS 8 WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH THIS STRESS SINCE I DON'T FIND IT TO UNINSTALL.
I was able to achieve by
1. use the Microsoft FixIt tool and uninstall the program.
2 reset
3. go in c:\program files\intel\
4 remove the Bluetooth folder.
If you can not remove the Bluetooth folder in step 4, and then see what file is open and kill this file from the Task Manager.
This allowed me to continue the upgrade of Windows 8, which was stopped by this driver intel.
Hope this helps

Compatible Wireless + Bluetooth cards
Hello
I have a HP Pavilion Notebook 17-e116dx and it came with a regular 2.4 GHz wireless network card. I was wondering if there was a way for me to switch to a new card in wireless that includes built in Bluetooth 4.0. The NIC in the PC can still be improved? If so, are there compatible maps that I can spend? At the moment it has a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter. I use Windows 8/8.1 if that helps. Thanks for any help!

Tecra 9100: Wireless / Bluetooth Switch
I have the above and when I press Fn + F8 I get a message on the screen.
"Wireless is disabled. Please activate the wireless communication switch. »
When I try and install the Bluetooth stack drivers I get as much as the driver Bluetooth installation... screen and after a bit of activity of the HD, I get a pop-up message.
"Couldn't turn on Bluetooth monitor. Please activate the Communication of wireless switch located on the side of the main unit. »
I think that there is a problem with the switch on the front of the laptop. I that reason for my guess. Is - fixable. Can I fix it myself. Other ideas.
Thank you
Hmm, don t think that the switch is the reason for this notification message.
Did you check if the laptop supports Wlan and BT maps?To my knowledge, the two cards (WLan & BT) are optional on this Tecra 9100!
I think that you should first check this! Have a look in Device Manager
