T430 on Windows 7 (64 bit) sees no wifi networks

My agency just gave me a Lenovo T430, and I'm in charge he get up and running. Requires the company, I work for a new installation of Windows (I installed Windows 7 64-bit), but does not install the drivers for the T430 outside ones included in editions of the retail of Windows. Apart from this question, the T430 seems to work very well.

I is gone on the side of Lenovo driver download and downloaded all the drivers for Windows 7 64 bit wifi and installed those who install and rebooted. Still not to see wifi networks.

What should I do to get this T430 to see wifi networks?

Thank you

Greg

DEV_0891 returns as: the controller of Gigabit Ethernet 10/100 / 1000 Mbps, which seems to be the wired Ethernet. Your wired connection works or you use another machine for packs driver D/L? The drivers for this device are here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS028930 if you need.

Given that you have ID'ed visually the wireless network adapter, the driver W7x64 related here:

http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS015011 * should * be what you need, but I am surprised that you are not showing a network controller "yellow!" which itself with the dev ID is appropriate. Can you confirm that you have tried to install this driver pack?

Finally, I'm fairly certain that the Base system device is the Ricoh card reader. The pilot would be here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS028931 if so.

Kind regards.

  • Windows 7 64 bit laptop on wireless network can not find .inf wired for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer driver for windows 7 32 bit PC

First of all, I read the thread on the laptop win 7 and win XP PC with attached IP4000.  I have just isn't helping me with that.  I am computer literate network, but I have to be dumbing down, so be specific in a response, you can give it.  Please, do not assume I know something just because it can be public knowledge.  Thank you for understanding my situation!

New Win 7 64 bit laptop connected wireless to a network home through a Netgear WNDR3700 router.  Wired to the router, it is a PC with a USB attached printer Canon IP4000.  This printer has worked without problem with this PC for years.  Add the laptop.  Try to access the printer on the network (it is set to be shared on the PC) translates into an inability to find the driver for the printer.  On the Canon download site, I downloaded and installed on both machines the driver add-on 'aomwin110ea23us.exe '.  This does nothing to solve the problem.  Then, follow the suggestions in the thread referenced above, I downloaded installed 7 - zip and unzipped the file add-on from Canon.  Guess what? -There is no, zero, nada, stupid ".inf" file in there!  I understand that I need share on the PC to both x 32 and x 64, but without a valid .inf file to point to, I'm sunk.  And the same is true when you try to add the printer to the laptop - not to point to .inf file.  Is the only thing that I have not tried to install the printer directly to the laptop via the USB port, and it's because this is not a configuration that is usable for me.  The printer must be attached to the PC.  Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this dilemma?  Please do not give me an answer telling me to download the driver - usually you tell me precisely what driver and then guide me through the process.  Rest assured that I appreciate sincerely any help you can give me.  Thanks in advance!

Most likely the name of the driver you are using on XP to share the printer a is not not the name of the 64-bit driver.  The pilots names must match in order to add the printer as a connection to the 64-bit computer using the normal RPC protocol.  You can configure the printer on 64-bit Windows 7 as a local printer that will basically copy the data from the printer to the format to share on the XP machine using SMB protocols.

This is a Ko for incompatible drivers when connecting XP to NT4.  Replace your server / client configuration, but it's the same process.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet and select the Canon 64 bit driver available on Windows Update (use the Windows Update button in add printer) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282842

  • Pavilion X 2 running as Windows 10 does not detect any WiFi networks

When starting the Tablet this morning, I received a message "not connected - no connection is available. My home network is up, running and accessible by other devices co-located, including the smartphone with which I'm making this post. Troubleshooting of the Internet connection and the network adapter with Windows Network Diagnostics 3.0 gives "no problems found".

    Help? Restore Win 8.1?

Do not take into account. The Tablet has been at the center of an important Windows Update with no noticeable indication (for me). Detection of network resumed work at the end of the update, and this message is sent on the Tablet already affected. Moral: patience.

  • Photosmart B 209 sees more WIFI network since I moved from WEP to WPA

My HP Photosmart worked fine until my ISP asked me to change the name of my WIRELESS network (which now includes the symbols underscore) and the type of protection increased from WEP to WPA... Paswword has not changed, it's just the type of protection

Since then, the printer can't see the WIFI network. I printed a network report and it says that I need to check that the network SSID & printers are the same...

My former network SSID is: Freebox and it has moved to: FREEBOX_BRUNO_DH.

Where is - this can be changed on the printer?

    Thanks for your help

    Concerning

Why your ISP dictates what will be the name of your SSID?   This is not good.   You can make your SSID name all you want, but I wouldn't use your ISP said.   This is YOUR network, do what you want.   Do the SSID and password for you.

  • Photosmart 8450: Does the Photosmart 8450 under Windows 7 64-bit card reader work?

Under Windows XP 32 bit card on my Photosmart 8450 network reader appeared as a network drive in Windows Explorer. Now that I've migrated to Windows 7 64 bit I get no network drive and if I put an SD card in the drive I get a 'map' mistake of access on the display panel. It is to be expected with the built-in drivers for Win 7? If so, is there no work around?

    Hello

Thanks for the reply and sorry for not getting back sooner. Been strongly concerned about the end.

I just find the solution to both problems.

    1. the card reader does not accept SD - HC cards. When I put an ordinary SD it worked fine.

2 network drive mapping could not find the printer, even if I can print to it without any problems. I had recently also changed the router and discovered that the IP assigned to the printer was within the range of IP addresses assigned by DHCP. Changed static address to + 1.  Still did not work; posted in printer address was unidentifiable. Sitched printer, pulled ethernet cable outlet, turned on, plugged the ethernet cable. Bingo! The network drive works now.

  • Cannot print to a network printer after Windows 7 64 bit upgrade

I've recently updated one of my new PC from Vista Home Premium 64-bit of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Since then, I not was able to print on my network printer, an HP Photosmart C7180 all-in-one, which is wireless on my home network. When this PC is Vista, I was able to print. Two other computers on my home network, both running XP, can access the printer on the network and printing.  This PC now on Windows 7 64-bit can find the network printer when I "Add a printer -" and I am able to complete the installation of the printer.  I downloaded and installed new drivers for the HP C7180 from the site Web HP specifically for Windows 7 64-bit, so I have the latest drivers.
I have NOT install the printer as a device shared on any of the computers, but rather want to be able to print from any of them, even if other computers are offline.
If I open and leave visible the print queue for the printer and then print a Test Page, I see the print job briefly showed the 'Impression' in the display of the print queue, but nothing ever reachs the printer. There is no message error, either during the process of adding the printer, or when sending the Test Pages, or other print jobs to the printer.
I have McAfee antivirus and firewall installed on my PC. Advanced Firewall setting for networks shows that the range of IP addresses for all my IP addresses are approved.
(I spent hours to reinstall the drivers and remove and reinstall the printer and spent a frustrating 2 additional hours with the help of HP without success. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.)

I thought that Windows 7 32-bit(Ultimate version) fixed limit of RAM.  I have 6 GB installed, he sees that the 6 but he says only 2.99 is usable. I have to go to 64-bit?

Yes, you must go to 64-bit to use all the RAM.

32-bit may signal the presence of all the 6 GB but only treaty that 4 GB and part of that 4 GB is used for material - mainly the video memory and BIOS device.

  • Cannot network officejet 6210 to windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit xp

    Hi all

Thanks in advance for any help to solve my current problem.

I have a Dell XP desktop with a HP 6210 installed via USB.  It works very well.

    I have a laptop HP (G60 - 247 CL) upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit).

When I try to print wireless from my laptop documents go into the queue, but does not print.  My laptop sees the printer but it says the printer is offline (it isn't).

I guess I have to install a driver 64 bit Windows 7 on my desktop (XP), so that when my laptop tries to connect to the printer, it can use this driver.  However, the XP Web site I cannot download this driver.  He said that it is already available in the Windows 7 software.  But my XP machine requires the driver 64 bit on it so my laptop can use this driver.

Hope this makes some sense.  Once again, thank you in advance.  I'm starting to lose sleep about it.

  • Install HP fails under Windows 7 64 - bit for Printer series CP1020

    Hello!

I tried to solve this for days, and I've seen a lot of suspense/unresponded to messages about the same topic so I hope that someone sees this!

    Product & number: Color LaserJet CP1025nw CE914A

Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit

Error message: HP LaserJet Installer has stopped working

Changes made to the system before the error occurred: We have updated our info from the router, so I ran the installation disc to reconnect the printer wireless. He uninstall programs initially added to the sleeve of the printer.

    Details:

-Very well, so 3 days ago we updated our router SSID and password for security reasons. Apparently, there is no easy way to update the details of the network for the CP1025nw so I had to run the installation disc. It prompted me to uninstall the software, reboot, and reinstall. I scoured the guests and then choose 'connect via a wireless network. After searching for the network, I then choose 'installation of Wireless USB '. I have to connect the USB cable when prompted, and as soon as the installation of the drivers I get the Windows error message posted above.  I've attached a screenshot of what appears as well.

Frustrating is that the printer still works after the installation, but only via the USB connection. I need to get wireless working again, but without the software installation work, I can't seem to get there (unless someone knows a hack/work around).

Event Viewer provides the following details about the error in the application:

The failing application name: hpbcsiInstaller.exe, version: 1.5.6.4020, time stamp: 0x4bbf9f17
Name of the failed module: hppccompio. DLL, version: 1.3.0.24, time stamp: 0x4c9685d0
    Exception code: 0xc0000417
    Offset: 0x000073bf
ID of the process failed: 0 x 970
Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01cdbc45b6632fa1
    The failing application path: D:\Installer\hpbcsiInstaller.exe
Path of the failing module: C:\Windows\system32\hppccompio. DLL
    Report ID: cb4d353b-2839-11e2-be7e-002564531498

I tried a wide range of solutions and none of them does not seem to work. Everything from the firmware update, delete all instances of files HP, including .inf files, installation with startup programs and services as the basis because they can get, etc.

    Help, please!

    See you soon,.

    Kirk

Okay, well that was a beast of a problem to say the least. I am so relieved to be done with this nonsense.

How it all started - a little recap:

We changed the password on our wireless network we have updated for security reasons.  I could not find all that helped me update the details of the network (password or the SSID) directly on my printer and said all that I had to uninstall and reinstall everything (and re - run the wifi via USB connection). This is not the case - there is a much simpler solution that I have will cover also the end of this post. Anyway, as mentioned above, during the phase of the installation of device drivers, the installation program plant with the Windows message "HP Installer Setup has stopped working".

    How I fixed it:

    1. print a configuration page by pressing the button "resume" for a few seconds and let go. I have taken note of the following in the upper right:

    Status: Not connected
    Network in use: no
    IP address: 0.0.0.0

I myself am continued to ask me if I could connect the printer directly via the port ethernet so I...

2 connect a cat5 from my laptop to the printer.

3 printed a second Setup page. Now, I got the following information:

    Status: connected

    Network in use: Wired

    IP address: 169.254.71.50

    4. I opened my web browser and tried to 169.254.71.50, but the page wouldn't connect. I recently built a computer game and has found a way to bridge the internet from a laptop wireless to a wired device (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96Z1_6rX5qU) so I was wondering if this could work with the printer.

5 filled my network connections and wireless according to the video above.

6a open my web browser and once more tried to navigate to 169.254.71.50 and it WORKED! (Not sure if this IP address is unqiue for my printer, but printing a configuration report is the best place to find it.

    7. I clicked on the Networking tab and then select Wireless Configuration.

    8. from there, I was able to activate my wireless connection, my password wireless update and choose I wanted to connect to the wireless network! This is how you can update your wifi information without having to do a complete reinstall!

    9. I now unplugged the ethernet cable (as suggested next to turn on/off radio buttons. My printer wireless power and is light stayed on. I have now connected once again!

    10. I don't think it was a crucial step, but I also implemented printing mobile ePrint

    11. I printed another page of configuration and can now see the following:

    Status: connected

    Periphery in use: wireless

    IP address: 192.168.1.115

    12. I can now navigate to the printer in my browser using this IP address and was able to find and print on my printer wireless through my phone, but still couldn't print from my wireless laptop.

    13. I inserted the original installation CD, held my breath and clicked on install. Hold your breath here is optional.

    14. He asked how I wanted to connect, and as before, I choose wireless. This time, instead of asking me to connect the USB, it FINDS my printer on the network. I chose this, clicked on continue and all installed successfully!

Everything is now back to normal! I can use my wireless printer once more. Please let me know if anyone has additional information on the steps above need, or if something does not work for you because there is no other solution out there. Believe me, I spent HOURS AND HOURS to research. I hope this helps some of you!

    See you soon,.

  • Color Laserjet 4500 on Windows 7-64 bit > share with XP - 32 bit > need additional 32-bit Drivers

    Here is the configuration:

Desktop: Windows 7 Professional - 64-bit with Color Laserjet 4500, connected shared, and work very well. The driver name is HP Color LaserJet 4500 PCL 5.

Laptop: Windows XP Professional - 32-bit.

No network problem. Laptop sees the printer, but cannot connect without the correct drivers installed additional 32 - bit on the desktop. The drivers only I could find are listed here. When I try to add under host print properties/sharing/additional drivers, none of the .inf files downloaded are accepted.

Since Windows 7 installed a 64-bit driver perfectly well, there must be a compatible 32-bit driver cab be added to allow the XP laptop for you to connect to this printer - but I was not able to find it!

For any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

    Rob

    I got to work:

I copied the extracted driver files (with the file updated the hpbf231i.inf) to the laptop client XP.

I used "Add a printer" on the laptop, installed as a network printer, stressed the shared printer and when you are prompted, pointed to the file hpbf231i.inf on the laptop.

What time, eat enemies! But it works!
