T430 palmrest clicking / snapping sound on the left

I just got a new T430 less than a week ago, and since that I have handled first, the left palmrest made sounds by clicking / snapping even under slight pressure. This area of the Palm seems to be above the smart card reader. Video of this phenomenon is below.

Is this normal? Everyone knows about this problem?

This computer has been sent to the warehouse, and they replaced the palmrest, which fixed the problem.

  • Satellite L650 - no sound from the left speaker

Hi, I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L650.

For some reason, the sound is only coming out of the left speaker and no sound comes out at all of the right speaker. Also even if I increase the volume of the sound still seems very low. I have reviewed and played around with the settings and same speaker balances without success.

    Help, please.

    Hi Rick1968,

Theoretically, the left speaker could be faulty and needs replacement.
What you can do is to check the sound settings where you can test different balances. Also make sure that its latest driver of Toshiba official Web site is installed.

By the way: are you running pre-installed version Windows from Toshiba?

  • Tecra A3 - no sound from the left speaker

I have some problems with the sound on my Tecra. Compared with a friend control Tecra A2 my volume is much quieter, despite having set me all available volume. Now however, the left speaker has renounced all of ghost when I move the balance on the wave or Volume to the left.
An update of the driver would solve this problem?

    Hello

I think it s a hardware malfunction (speaker). I don't think that the replacement of speaker can solve this problem. I suggest you contact the service partner.
The right service partner, you can find on the official website of Toshiba.
If the warranty is still valid, all the changes are free of charge.

  • No sound from the left speaker Satellite A100-225

In recent weeks I've been making a crackling sound on my harman/kardon speakers laptop computer. Crackling seems to be more inside the left hand. But now the spekaer is almost dead. the sound is very low. The right handspeaker is fine.
It all seemed to develop after you install an update to Windows XP. Then, I got an error message when I logged in was so tro download a fxi for windows web site. Since then, the speakers got slowly worse.

Any ideas? What is the problem and how to fix it?

    Hello

I noticed a few problems with the Realtek HD audio chip after an update from Microsoft. This issue has already been discussed here in the forum:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=21936

Please check the solution provided in the thread above.

But in my opinion that it is hardware problem seems the left speaker has disappeared and the replacement is necessary.

  • Finder - right scrolling automatically snaps back to the left

    Hello

I use Yosemite on a Mac Book pro. Recently, I noticed a problem with my finder. I have 'column view' enabled. When I scroll to the right to see the items more far in my tree, rather than stay where I scroll finder window cling all the way back to the left, showing the folders at the root of the drive. So, I actually don't see not all folders deeper in my directory structure.  I can't understand why this is happening. I hope someone can help out me!

UPDATE: I discovered another problem which could be related. If I go to any program - safari, word, etc. and scroll all the way to the right, if I move the mouse over the program it will automatically scroll to the left. If I point the program, scrolling stops.

    Thank you!

    SOLVED!

  • 2.1 speaker system-no sound from the left speaker sound

    Its speaker problem

I have a system of 2.1 speakers - subwoofer, a left and a right speaker. All of a sudden my left speaker stopped working. What can I do?

    Hello

    ·        Remember to make changes to the system?

    ·        You connect the speakers on another computer and check if you are able to hear the sound from two speakers or not?

    ·        What kind of speakers do you use?

It could be a faulty socket. Try to connect the different speakers to an outlet and check if the problem persists.

It could be a problem with the sound card drivers, I suggest to uninstall the drivers from the system and reinstall it on the system and check. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

  • Double click on the arrow to the left on the tab bar creates a new tab at the end of the right hand.

With Firefox 29.0.1 by double clicking on the arrows on the right in the tab bar or the left creates a new tab at the end of the right hand of the tab bar. It is embarrassing behavior that violates standards around UI design click and double-click. A double-click should extend the behavior of the single click rather than do something completely different (opening a new tab). An example would be, in a Word, a single click selects a Word, double click selects the sentence and a triple click selects the paragraph. Note that this is a separate issue from double click the tab bar itself to create a new tab.

When there are more tabs on the tabs in the window toolbar, that highlight the tabs on the side will not hold show tab in use. I can click on the left and right arrows at the end of the tab bar to scroll the bar in this sense to bring a tab I want to select in the display. I believe that the double click on the arrow to the left would scroll the bar completely to the right, exposing the tab on the left Double click on the right arrow would scroll the bar left entirely exposing the rightmost tab.

It is a logical extension and expected behavior of single click. Single click - scroll once (seems to be the value of the tab in three), double-click on - scroll all the way.

For now, if I want to access the tab on the left, I have to click the arrow slowly and carefully until I get to it. I used only one quick click on the arrow to the left until that shponkah stop scrolling without having to count how many clicks. It is possible that my simple quick clicks were actually double-click. However, the bar tabs would stop scrolling when it reaches the end.

Now, the behavior is really annoying and unexpected. Double click on left dead entirely right tabs completely left arrow and creates a new tab at the end of the right hand. Ditto the arrow right in the opposite direction.

While I can (maybe) see that the value of a double click on the tab bar itself to create a new tab, double click on one of the scroll arrows should show a new tab.

Double click on the arrows of the tab should scroll the tab fully for this purpose bar. If the tab bar is already entirely Scrolls towards ending extra clicks (single, double and triple...) should be ignored.

I like the idea of opening a new tab to the right of the one that has the focus. This should be an option of the contextual right click menu.

That should not occur if you click the scroll buttons in the tab bar.
A double-click should act as page up/down and move a full screen and a triple click should move to the left (first tab) or the right (last) until now tab.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Re: Qosmio F50 - 10 G - stronger than the left speaker right speaker

All of a sudden the right speaker is now stronger than the left speaker (I think before the two speakers have the same volume level).
Then the right speaker just stopped working and if I test it, the left plays the sound.

The sound from the left speaker is deep.

    What can I do?

    Hello

Its more like a hardware problem (speaker) as a software (driver sound) problem.
So in my opinion only the ASP in your country could be useful.

I think that the faulty speaker needs to be replaced

  • Output 2 sound at the same time cards

I have many reasons why I won't release of multiple sound cards at the same time. I know I'm not the only one who has this problem based on some quick searches of bing.

I would like to be able to output sound sound at the same time instead of having multiple cards to change the "default device" in Control Panel audio all the time I want that they ALL as default device. I want to use my USB headset and speakers at the same time. I know that windows is capable of this because if we play I can "test" each other, and they both play a sound at the same time

As far as I know there is simply no setting for it. Help, please!

    Hello

Unfortunately this does happen, as it is by design,

Here, a single device can be marked as default device, follow these steps below for more information.

    1. click on start, type Sound in the box to start the search.
    2. click on sound in the results of search at the top of the start menu.
    3. click on the tab reading notice the check mark next to the default device.

As it is a design problem, there is nothing we can do from our end.

If you want to suggest changes in the design here is the link you can make reference to: Microsoft Connect - back products and bug reports. Microsoft...

  • How to generate a sound (tone) without clicking noise and how to select the left or right speaker

    Hi all

I try to write write a VI that generates a pure sound of specific frequency and volume, and then sends this tone to a speaker or other (left or right) to be used to teach students about Audiology (hearing these tests may have taken where you hear a noise in one ear or the other).  I created a rather primitive VI to accomplish this, but I am plagued with a number of questions:

    (1) certain frequencies, but not all, the VI produces a rattling at the start and stop of the tone (I think this is related to repeat the configuration and the appeal of the material, but I do not know how to configure it in advance and avoid it - and why he created the clicking sound at all frequencies?).

    (2) at certain frequencies (14000 Hz and more), I do not hear the tone at all on my computer speakers (I still hear the click before and after, but I do not hear the tone.) I know what you might think, but no, this isn't a hearing loss from me :-)

    (3) I would like to be able to direct the tone selectively to the left or right speaker, but at the moment my VI only allows me to choose the 'number of channels' (who I presume "2ch" means left and right), but I don't know how selectively choose only one channel or another.

Thank you for your helpful suggestions you can offer,

    Eric

  • I can't open the Contacts folder on the left side of the page that I've always been able to do it before just clicking on it.

On the left column of my homepage under "Inbox", there is a Contacts folder. It contains all my contacts and, in the past, whenever I clicked on it, or click the add-in, the list comes up and I can add, remove, or edit a contact. Today when I click it, nothing comes up. Sound still there because, when I send a new email and type in the first letters of the address, all who have this letter in my Contacts list come upward. How to open the Contacts list. I need to change an email address.

Well, I don't know who is your email provider, so it is not that they own.

First of all, you are using a very old version of Firefox with known security vulnerabilities and other issues. You must immediately update to Firefox 12.

Once you do this, test again. If it still does not work, I will try to read the article sites look bad or appear differently than they should. specifically, redefinition of the style of page and clear the cache. If it still does not work, start Firefox in questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode. This temporarily resets Firefox to its default state in order to test more easily.

  • sound card output audio separate in the left and right channels?

    Hi all

I work and change the Sound.vi "generate".

It works very well, however, I want to control what going on the left audio channel vs right.

Down the blockdiagram and the sub vi:s that I actually lost where the tone 'mono' rectuangular Rejoinder to stereoright and the left channel.

Any ideas, inputs are welcome :-)

Just use an instance of the output of his writing have a 1 d waveform data entry (i.e. type  Audio output (DBL) writing). Each element of the array corresponds to a channel. You change the type of click with the right button on the service and make a "select Type". Oviously, the generation of waveform in the example will be changed as well.

You will need to reverse the left and right audio channels, because I would like to avoid too cables around the living room and the right sound.

tried in SOUND > Speakers > CONFIGURE it on by clicking on the right left speaker sound time and vice versa.

    Hey DiegoWO,

There is not currently an option within the OS to achieve.
However, your drivers audio pourrait have a built-in effect that allows you to reverse the stereo sound. If you do not see a separate application to manage your sound, you will need to visit the website of the manufacturer of your sound card and install the latest drivers.
