T430 slowly at the stop

I have multiple T430 in my company who are slow to stop. It takes about 10 minutes to the stop. It is also consistent, as soon as you open a session and stop it take too long. These are all installed with an image. Running windows 7 64 bit. Looked in the log events, but no indication of abnormal errors. With the help of Kaspersky, Office 2010, Mozy. Check some registry settings on microsofts site but that does not solve the problem no more. Not sure if this is a problem of lenovo, or a windows problem or a conflict with other software.

Uninstalled Kaspersky, it corrects the problem. Was caused by a part of kaspersky called patchmanagment.exe.

  • Excel turns up at the stop

Anyone know why excel shows up when my laptop is shut down?  I didn't open this session, but I see now it magic appear in the top bar when stopping down.

One possibility is the Excel was running (possibly with no open windows) when you stop and "reopen the windows when you connect in" had a checkmark in it in the dialog box when you stop. Another possibility is that Excel is selected in the Apple menu > System Preferences > users and groups > login items.

In both of the above, I think that even if you start Excel at a meeting that he was actually in the process without window open and you won't notice until the stop.

  • Lost the STOP button with upgrade for FF9

I can not get the STOP button on the Navigation toolbar since I upgraded to FF9. Where at - it go?

He was a combined button by default at the end of the bar of address for awhile now.

Loading a page it's a stop button, because that's when you can stop it, and once it is loaded it becomes a button reload, because you can then reload the page.

It can be customized by dragging the end of the address bar and to reverse the order buttons, you then get to see two separate buttons:

  • Why "combine" the stop buttons reload? HOW to bring back a separate charging button?

I'm so tired of companies assuming that I want something in a certain way. My reload button disappears and is only visible when I go to customization. Why the hell would I want to stop and reload to be combined?

I can't reload whatever it either when I'm on a page and the 'stop' is not highlighted when I'm on a page, but sometimes there are times when I just want to reload the page!

This on top constant accidents which seriously makes me think that I need to get a new browser!

Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.

Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.

  • Could not find the "stop" button after updating to firefox 8

I've just updated to Firefox 8 and can't find the "stop" button to stop a website from loading if inadvertently, I hit the enter button too soon. I looked under Customize toolbar, but do not see it. Icons, what i've got are back, forward, address bar, Star, down arrow reload, google search bar, blocker for popups and at home.
    Thank you

Firefox 4 and newer versions, go, Stop and reload buttons are combined into a single button at the right end of the toolbar URL or address. The button changes depending on the type of activity:

    • green arrow GB when you type in the address bar
    • Red Stop ("X") button while the page is loading
    • Reload (circular arrow) to gray when the page is finished loading.

    There are separate buttons:

    1. Open the Customize the toolbar by clicking the Firefox button > Option > toolbars OR by clicking View > toolbars > customize if using the menu OR bar right click in an empty space on a toolbar and select Customize
    2. While customizing the window is open, Stop and reload buttons will show separate from the address bar and the search bar
    3. While customizing the window is open, drag the buttons anywhere on the Navigation toolbar
      • order Reload-Stop will bring together into a single button
      • order Stop-Reload will remain in separate keys
      • or drag a "separator" in the window customize between Reload-Stop and that they remain separated
    4. Click done at the bottom right of the window customize to finish

How can I place a STOP button on my toolbar. I would like to stop firefox from loading a page by pressing the STOP button, but I can't find it in the toolbar options.

First of all, if you have the menu bar show. (File-Edit-View-History-Bookmarks-Tools-Help), then you won't see the orange FireFox button because in the new version of FireFox button replaces the menu bar. You can believe that's the way you want by clicking on 'View', then place your cursor over "Toolbars" and check or uncheck menu bar. If you have the display on menu bar, click on 'View' then drag down to "Toolbars", then descend to the right and go to 'customize '; a click on it. Then, when the next screen appears, even if 'Reload' is not displayed on this topic, it appears somewhere upwards in your toolbar. (Mine was above the Google search box). Put your cursor on it and drag-and - drop to the left of your address bar. The "Stop" button should be left more than the button 'recharge' in order to get two separate buttons for these tasks. If the 'Reload' button is further to the left, then you get a single button that performs the tasks at the same time. I hope this helps.

  • Dynadock: displays preferences are stored in the stop/restart only

Hello fans of Toshiba and experts.

I have a problem with * Dynadock DVI * and laptop computer from a different manufacture (with Vista Enterprise).

I want to use this combination to eliminate the need for a typical desktop computer in office (without multimedia applications or 3D) environment, where * external monitor is defined as main display *, and * LCD internal as an extension of office *.
This work of setting as planned, the main screen moves between external and internal monitor according to the (UN) Dynadock connection. However, this behavior lasts only until the stop/restart is performed. Then, the configuration is completely random. In some cases, it works as before, in other cases, the default mode is applied - internal LCD becomes the main screen and the image is mirrored on external monitor.

The whole situation seems to depend on computer with the Dynadock is used. I found the laptop (also Vista) running solid rock with Dynadock.
All used the drivers were in the latest versions - freshly downloaded, Vista Enterprise SP1 version of the Dynadock 2.3 software update.
Is there a way to force Dynadock software to use the built-in views configuration whenever the docking station is plugged?

    Thank you...

  • Equium M50-244 run the Stop error after DVD playback

If anyone can help with tips here. All watching my laptop DVD crashes with a runtime stop error which forces a closing down of the system. It's then a capricious beast in reverse that the screen remains blank and does not start start. When it decides to launch it is slow at the start and has on occasion crashed again. Report error screen Windows indicating that this is a MISTAKE STOP RUN is launched. On the game, the system slows down considerably, which means that next time I want to spend on the laptop should I go through t - he or she does not start into a nightmare. This is starting to get a little boring

    Hello

With RUN the STOP ERROR do you mean the blue screen of death (BSOD) or what?
What DVD player program did you use?
Have you tried using different applications such as WinDVD or PowerDVD?

However, I think that we should focus on the system slow downs.
This could be caused by the high temperature if the temperature rises to a higher level, the system attempts to limit the performance of the processor.
This reduced heat production, but slows down the performance of the laptop

Overheating pourrait causes that the shut downs as s possible BSOD checks then perhaps you should try the cooling modules if they work at full capacity.
Cleaning of the fan could probably contributes to

  • How to stop up to generate a waveform of the entire cycle when click on the stop button

    Dear engineer OR,.

I have generated three AO signals to control my scanner and data acquisition. Two ramp signals is to control the galvanometric scanner (x and y). A TTL signal is to trigger the acquisition of data. Whenever I click on stop, the ramp stops every time that it is when the button is clicked, what causes a voltage jump when will resume the program again because the ramp will start in the place original (this jump of fast voltage can damage the galvanometric scanner). Could you please give me some suggestions on how to stop after only a waveform of cycle whol's over? The VI I used is attached. The FLIM control.vi is the main vi include Subvi Galvo control.vi

    Thank you very much!!

    Hello, dgql!

From a point of view purely programming, there are a few ways you could implement this.

    (1) create a conditional stay:

You can add features to the code such that, once you reach the stop button, the code checks the value of your signal before you actually stop the VI. In pseudo-code: "If the signal is > 0 and less than a certain value, stop." Otherwise, keep the control of signal until the value lies in this range. »

    (2) to reset the signal from the ramp at each start of your VI. This may or may not work with your application, depending on whether you must have the previous value of the ramp carried over.

Let me know if these are of no help!

  • Programming of a conditional FOR the timing of the STOP button on the loops

I have a conditional FOR loop with a STOP button, however, the nature of LabVIEW data flow, the stop button is now being questioned at some point before the end of the loop. A control not having no entry, I can't connect to the last operation of a single iteration of the loop to trigger the vote on the STOP command, and I prefer not to use a flat sequence just for the power button if I can avoid it. I've considered using a structure of the event, but I don't want to force the loop to wait that the stop button to be pressed, I want just the loop to EXIT, * IF * the stop button is pressed... but I want the stop button to be questioned at the end of the loop, so if the user presses the button stop at any time in the loop , at the end of the iteration, the loop will end... that makes sense? At present, given that the stop button is called once at some arbitrary during the iteration of the loop time, if the user presses the stop button after he is questioned, the loop must run an extra iteration, and I don't want that to happen.

... in any case, I guess I'm looking for a more elegant way to implement that having to use a flat sequence just for the stop button.

Sorry, but you'll have to use a sequence structure.  This is why they are there.  Sometimes they have their purposes.  Here is how I would handle it.
