T450s: annoying sound

There is a sound high-frequency standing before starting the fan, or maybe at low speed. It seems that the noise occurs at higher speed too. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm sorry. Finally I found that it is the sound of my external display

I started to notice a new peircing sound really annoying ear on the SL500 I received last week.

It's a very high-pitched sound that hurt my ears and gives me a headache. I first noticed it in class yesterday.

I checked at home, I hit the pc and put my ears under the fan on the bottom left and I heard noise coming from there.

It's really boring and high. What should I do? I tried to open the box of the fan, but as something strange square to open fully block there and I cannot close most it's too hard. : '(devrait être réparé lol.) But the noise comes from all versions of the laptop now that I put my ear everywhere, I hear the most when there are openings for air. It's a horrible and the worst noise that it's all coming from the bottom of the laptop and I can hear it when I use it normally.

  • How can I disable annoying sound error and other sounds in Tbird?

I just got my computer after an accident and this time they managed to save my email, but I'm having a little trouble in her setting. I can deal with the small text for a while, but the "boing" or whatever sound which makes mistake has got to go! If, for example, I try to delete an email while TB is always doing something else, I get a sound with a pop up on the error. I never had before sounds. How can I make them disappear?
    Thank you

    Hello

I don't know, but there is no way you can stop these sounds to emerge, they are built better reliability.

All that you can disable is the sound when a new email arrives. Although I have no reason to make this wide, but if you want, here are the steps:

Open Thunderbird > go to Edition on the topbar/tasks bar > click Preferences > in the general tab by default, clear the play a sound.

  • Edge 13, Ubuntu Lucid and annoying sound problem

    Hello

I'm in dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu Lucid Beta on my new Edge 13 "(Intel). I have problems with the sound: things work in W7 but on Ubuntu I don't get sound from the internal speakers, even when headphones are connected. In fact things worked at first, until I hit once the button mute, reactivate after I started having sound from speakers and headphones at the same time, and then for some reason, no noise in the headphones. I tried to change settings in its preferences, but not luck.

Can anyone think of what could be the problem? Why is it all started after actionning the mute button?

    Thank you!

Moreover, apart from this problem, Ubuntu works very well on the edge.

I solved the problem by adding this at the end of the modprobe.conf file:

    model options snd-hda-intel = "olpc-xo-1_5.

All left for me to trouble is terrible noise and optimize the battery a little more... I had 12 hours + functional work with my 9cell, however when having open Skype its completely down to about 8 hours... This laptop has a flight of 11 hours with tools of communication open.

There is a keyboard warning tone when there are 2 or more keys are pressed at the same time and it cannot interpret the key to use.

You can disable this beep in the BIOS settings (press F1 during boot). Go to the Configuration tab, select beep and alarm, and it's the keyboard setting beep.

However, without the beep you have missing characters and be aware of it as you type.

  • Re: Satellite Pro L670 - can I turn off the sound when the battery is empty?

    Hello

Is it possible to disable the bios beep when the battery is empty or the laptop's Hibernate?

    I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L670.

Even when the sound in Windows is turned off the laptop do a annoying sound.

    Thank you!

Maybe it sounds silly, but I put t understand why that should be disabled. When the battery reaches the critical battery level you will be informed about this and portable must be connected to the power running or you have to save your work and turn it off.

Do you really want to work until the battery is completely discharged?

Anyway, AFAIK this notification level BIOS cannot be disabled.
Let's see if someone else is better informed than me.

    1. right click the icon of speaker near right lower clock - peripheral of reading

Highlight speakers - properties (right same low page) - tab improvements - check Disable all sound effects
    Apply - OK

    2. check the configuration - Device Manager - sound, video and game controller

Note name and complete model of the audio device - full decription - now double click it.
Driver tab - notice the driver version. Then click on set to update driver (maybe nothing like MS is far
behind the pilots of certification). Then right CLICK on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh
    the driver stack.

Now go to system Maker and look for the updated drivers (or get the same if no new) it will be

  • Always unwanted clicking sound on both ends of a clip

When I put voice segments together in the multitrack session I get this annoying "click on" sound, or a glitch, at the beginning of each clip. It ruins everything naturally and makes my unnecessary records. They are not on the record, but do occur when I set up the Audition segments. Seems to me that the hearing cannot handle the process of putting clips together? Whenever the bar reached the beginning of the next clip that annoying sound comes in. It's like an electrical impulse or something, difficult to describe. I did a test with no noise in the clips, just add them, the sound of glitch was not there then. When I mark a section in a clip and add silence and operate the read head just inside that segment the sound is in the beginning and the end as well. As if the software is actually produce these signals. When I edit each clip solitaire I try to add a segment to the silence of death in the beginning and the end, when to re-enter the multitrack session again to play what seems to have removed most of the unwanted clicks but then the mixture is more loose with the longer time between clips, and not the way I wanted it to be. I do the voice at work, this problem only on the voice recording. The record microphone went very well, sound when I start putting clips and sections together in multitrack mode starting with these problems occur.

My God, no. Fair waveforms not mating at intersections and jumping rather abruptly from one level to another. If you place in multitrack clips, then put it while they auto-crossfade when set on the same track - all you have to do is drag one over the other for a few milliseconds stop what is happening. It is the way to get silent changes. If you go into Preferences > multitrack clips, you will find the available options.
