T500 crashes with tcpip.sys

T500

Vista Ultimate SP2

OK, my fan has been fixed now and temperatures-related accidents have disappeared. Thank you :-)

Only now my system crashes with a message mentioning tcpip.sys.

The only way to get around was to go to safe mode with networking or uninstall my antivirus avast.

I searched and there seems to be a very delicate patch of Microsoft on this.

Anyone with experience on that?

Thank you.

I had two antivirus programs, which deals with access by programs of the laptop to the outside world.

He had worked for two years, but after a few updates, it has no more.

I removed it, and it is resolved now, although it could be less protected.

WhoCrashed has been very useful in the identification of this.

  • Windows BSOD 8: System Service Exception - tcpip.sys

    Hello

I got a new laptop for Christmas and updated to Windows 8. There has already been some hissing adjustments with me. A few days ago I tried to update the OS (continued to come with the update failed) unsuccessfully until today where I got it working after leaving it while I was at school. This has been the most recent installation, I know, and it has been fine for the last time to date. He can't go 3 minutes without a BSOD.
The error message I get is: System Service Exception - tcpip.sys.
Any contributions to this issue would be appreciated

This single DMP has been altered, so I can't give you definitive information yet.  Often when crashing in tcpip.sys, it's due to malware, or real malware application installed.  I would like to delete bitdefender and replace it with MSE (at least for testing).  It's a PNP (plug and Play) device just not sure what atm.

You have also some old drivers that need updating.  If you continue to plant please download each of them.

    I have a new portege R400.

Random and quite often while connected to the internet, my computer hangs on a blue screen that evokes a few problem with tcpip.sys. The unexpected dumps core, which takes all 4 seconds, not a lot of time to note the error: s. There is something like not_les_than_ (not?) less - or equal to.

Errors that you encounter is perhaps having two-thirds in real time an installed anti-virus software, Norton and Kaspersky.

Can you try uninstalling Norton and Kaspersky and see if error fix.

Then reinstall Norton or Kaspersky, but not both, using the most recent version or just use the firewall and antivirus integrated Windows 8 (Windows Defender).

  • Blue screen error crash, caused by drivers: ntoskrnl.exe, Wdf01000.sys and tcpip.sys

original title: Blue error screen, accident of death caused by drivers: ntoskrnl.exe, Wdf01000.sys and tcpip.sys

I currently own an Aura of Alienware Dell, it's an amazing computer. The only problem is that I had a lot of problems, I was able to permanently fix all except this issue. I'll randomly crash blue screen, usually it doesn't happen often and it is normally not triggered by something specific, rarely it will crash at startup. I was able to download an application that can read the cache/dump blue screen crashes:

    34 accidents

    one was caused by Wdf01000.sys

three was a result of tcpip.sys

and all the rest of ntoskrnl.exe

I don't know what caused it, I've had this computer for about a year now and I've never had this problem before. I don't remember an update of the cause, or by downloading any strange apps, downloads or viruses. (I had wiped my computer about 3 months ago)

I don't know too much about software,

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi bloo532,

    1. what application did you use to read dump files?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

It resembles that of the driver on the computer is causing the blue screen.

Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode

Also make sure that all drivers are up to date on the computer.

    Hello

Two main causes of this blue screen video drivers and BIOS - check with system manufacturer site for
View of the adapter (video) and BIOS, then on site of the manufacturer of the device for the last video. There may be other drivers
in order to check there. DISABLE the auto-pilot plant as those who are older and if updates Windows suggests
a pilot just HIDE. Antivirus is another possibility.

    Cause

Bug KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates that a memory access violation has occurred.

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques:

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that all new equipment installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If the verification of the message bug list a driver by name, disable or remove that driver. In addition, disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the system startup service using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x1E. You can disable the cache in memory of the BIOS to try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved .chk , which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation.

You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS

Look in the Event Viewer to see if something is reported on those.

  • TCPIP.sys error, causing the screen blue Windows 7 x 64

    Hello:

My laptop crashes repeatedly and randomly. I enclose a photo below and dump files can be found at:

    https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=F5BC544590934502! 128 & authkey =! AEd-rGpg7RWXhpw & ithint = the file % 2crar

Thanks a lot for your quick help.

    Harouna

    Hi Alfonso,.

I see that you have several files according to their analysis, here's the report and dump.

    BugCheck D1, {, 2, 0, fffff88001c607c4}

Probably caused by: tcpip.sys (tcpip! IpNlpChecksumDatagram + b4)

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)

An attempt was made to access an address pageable (or completely invalid) at an interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high.  This is usually caused by drivers using a wrong address.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

The last report of dump file:

    BugCheck D1, {0, 2, 0, fffff88001c9553b}

    Probably caused by: NETIO. SYS

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)

An attempt was made to access an address pageable (or completely invalid) at an interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high.  This is usually caused by drivers using a wrong address.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Both files can be linked to the network adapters. I suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website and install the latest network maps and check if that helps. The netio.sys comes probably from ZoneAlarm.

There can be a clash between ZoneAlarm drivers and drivers Windows such as reported in the following thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/8aabb1a2-49d0-4bc2-92ca-dce7ddf5af73 similar BSODS have also been reported with Norton Antivirus and, as noted in the link, it seems to be high battery use or conflict involving Windows drivers and third-party filter drivers. http://community.Norton.com/Norton/board/message?board.ID=nis_feedback&thread.ID=73834

You can try, as suggested by the Symantec link, disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, and you might also uninstall Zone Alarm if problems persist.

Let us know the status of the issue. If you need help, please after return. We will be happy to help you.

  • DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tcpip.sys) Blue error screen to restart the computer

    Hello

I recently bought a new laptop refurbished and I have a problem from the appointment. I bought the laptop yesterday. It's a Sony Vaio Fit 15 E, 64 bit with 8 pre-installed Windows. There are times when I get a blue screen with a sad face that just explains that an error has occurred, the error is: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (tcpip.sys). It mainly occurs when I try to use torrent software. I did the excessive thread lurking on the various sites looking for a solution to the problem but nothing I try works.

Some forums have said it is this need to updated drivers network card, but when I check updates told me I have the latest drivers. Other forums suggest that this is a problem with McAfee drivers interfere. McAfee has been pre-installed, but I uninstalled all McAfee products manually and then used Development to remove all McAfee software are still hiding on the laptop which, according to him, has worked. I installed Malwarebytes and AVG also and I tried to remove them and try again to see if it was the issue, but even when deleted the error kept appearing and the computer crashing.

I don't really know what is the cause and every time I try a suggestion from other sites they do not solve the problem. I downloaded the minidumps on my laptop here down, however I don't know how to read or do analysis. Is there someone who would be able to help me?

    The Minidump files: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3gAlOZ6dvu8MG5LWjh5cHFQOG8&usp=drive_web

    Thank you

    Roisin

    Hi Roisin,

All attached files of the DMP are the bug check DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) .

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory with a high IRQL.

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high. This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

    -FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0xD1_tcpip + 138ac3

^^ tcpip.sys is labeled as the fault, but it is not the real cause of the accident. There is something of cause of NETBIOS conflicts. In addition to debugging shows the crash of coherent process following each crash dump:

    -Nom_processus: mbamservice.exe

    ^^ Malwarebytes.

That being said, AVG is at the origin of conflicts with Malwarebytes. Regardless of whether you're a suite antivirus and the other is antimalware, both are active protection and try to install their interceptors to the kernel for analyzing critical data. Because of these two active protection software tries to do this, the conflicts are happening.

    --------------------

Remove and replace AVG with built-in Windows Defender from Windows 8 for temporary troubleshooting purposes, as it is in conflict with Malwarebytes:

Is a DMP Checker enabled but is however unable to detect a violation device driver. By default, the 'fault' is tcpip.sys , which is the Microsoft TCP/IP Driver (associated with network management). Generally associate network crashes like that they care caused by one of two things:

    1. network drivers themselves must be updated to the latest version. Visit the Web site of the manufacturer for them, do not go through Windows Update or Device Manager. Make sure that you update your drivers card wireless network as I noticed via the list of modules you have a.

2 3rd party antivirus or firewall software causing network conflicts. I've quickly skimmed through the list of loaded modules and not see any antivirus or firewall software. You have installed?

The driver that he is failing on its own is tcpip.sys which is the Driver from TCP/IP de Microsoft (network related), but is not the REAL cause and something else is driving to the fault. Usually in the case of network related crashes, we have one of the two culprits:

    1. network drivers themselves must be updated to the latest version.

2 3rd part antivirus firewall software is causing network conflicts (or any other form of 3rd party software causing conflicts).

  • How to fix the BSOD (blue screen of death) on windows 8 cause of tcpip.sys

I bought a Hp Pavilion h8 - 1360t last year in 2012. He had Windows 7 installed on it, but I have upgraded to Windows 8 pro X 64 some time earlier this year. At first, everything was going well until I kept getting BSOD every few hours or so at random. The BSOD said that tcpip.sys driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. As a first step, I try to understand me and only probably caused by: (tcpip + 65 95 d) tcpip.sys with the debugger tool can someone help me or tell me what it is.

Often of tcpip.sys errors are caused by the application of malicious programs installed (in your case AVG).  I delete AVG and use the built in Defender (at least for testing)

If you continue to crash after removing AVG download DMP files and we can get more aggressive with them.

  • Satellite P100-188 crash nv4.mini.sys

    Hi, new to this forum.

Since the P100 188 PSPA3E, new, large laptop for my business including web design/download needs.

Only fault in a few months was crack on cover near hinge, which was a common fault at all, that I understand. Never bothered to set it as cosmetic. She is now 2.5 years old.

I started having problems with graphics on xp, when I got the system due to problems of Norton. I've also updated to windows 7 at this point, it having resisted before that time. Colors began to change, and I noticed that fans have become much louder and more and challenging. So I think that the graphics card may have suffered more heating, which seems to be a common problem in looking at sites of cell phone fix.

I dismantled the phone and cleaned for the proccessor and graphics card heat sinks, they are matched!

I reassembled and still have the same problem, the sytem has very poor graphics on external monitor (as does not appear on the LCD display) with verticle lines about 4 together in batches across the screen, even about to start of Toshiba. I tried several times to recovery disk, but it crashes with blue screen. ... nv4.mini.sys

Research on google, I understand that it is a sure sign that there is a problem with the graphics card or its driver. I find the new driver who has just be released 6 days ago that I write, but how to install this new driver, when the system is not install and recover. Or is the card NVidia 7600 finished.

No matter what advice or experience would be accepted with gratitude.

    Thanks for your help.

Was hopeing that someone could have come back to this one.

Motherboard is A000006530 with sepererate circuit board for GF-GO7600-N-A2 graph (since it seems that some video cards are in the main motherboard.

It seems there have much said about updates driver on older cards of this type, don't not juggling software developments. As I am now trying a new Nvidia card is there a slight update of the older one?

I would be pleased by your thoughts or experiences.

    Thanks in advance

  • Satellite L850 - Intermittent crashing with BSOD

My Satellite L850-1LK crashes with the following error message intermittently: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (athw8x.sys). An online search in some other forums suggested that I should update the driver for my Atheros wireless network adapter. I did - including uninstall it completely before reinstalling with the driver downloaded from Toshiba's own site.

I always get the BSOD, so any other suggestions would be appreciated. (I'm under 64-bit Windows 8)

    Hello

What version of driver and what version of BIOS that you use?

I had the same problem but not with the Toshiba laptop.
I discovered that the installed McAfee utility causes the BSOD.
I suggest that you remove and replace with another software antivirus like Avast! or Avira antivir.
Both are free and can be downloaded for free.

But of course I updated the Atheros Wlan driver too!
You must remove the driver and uninstall the driver properly package.
This can be done in Device Manager!
Then clean the operating system using CCleaner!
Reactivate the wireless lan, then install the latest driver.
Previous updates must have replaced only part of the package of driver causing the problem.
