T500 + ericsson F3507g

I bought my t500 when he was a few months old and I used it more than a year. Yesterday, I decided to remove the chip memory intel turbo, because after I installed an SSD it was really time to slowdown startup. So I took a peek in a HW service guide, take a screwdriver and open the computer. And then, what a surprise: I found an ericsson F3507g card installed. I didn't know I had one, because he has never shown in Device Manager. I use win7 64 bit.

I tried to install the drivers, etc., but get the same error: device not found Mobile broadband. Windows simply cannot find.

Any ideas?

I must say that I feel quite stupid... It has been disabled in the BIOS

    Hello

There is no Linux drivers for Toshiba laptops models.
To be honest, I have no experience with Ericsson F3507g Broadband running Linux but if you think that this device is malfunctioning, you need to install OS preinstalled Toshiba then and should test this unit again.

If you want to use Linux then you need search the drivers of your own hands

  • Can not get working my ericsson F3507g S10, also some problems wireless modem

    Hello

I have a huge problem with my new S10 with win XP, model 4329-2RG.

First and the biggest problem is that I can't work ericsson F3507g modem (worm. R1D06), which was already inside the laptop from the factory, not installed later. I downloaded the drivers from lenovo.com, specific model, (54gx06ww) and the card 3G (54gy03Www) the computer driver manager detects the modem and GPS and some other stuff, but the Manager shows me that "no high modem mobile broadband."

After that I tried other drivers, other managers... but the problem is still there

I don't know if its related, but the same problem with my USB modem, he founded the USB, Connection Manager installs, but when the Manager opens, it does not recognize the stick as a modem.
The other problem is with the wifi... He founded some locations wifi... but not all. Other computer right next to me, shows 11 sites present wifi, my S10 shows only 3, sometimes 4. And this is not only because of the intensity of the signal, because my computer can't find my own network which is a few meters from the computer.
What should do? How to solve the problem...

    Hello..

    you insert a SIM supplier?

last test is to recover the FN + F11 to factory settings... (all but lost data could be a working machine)

might be internal antenna cable is not correct wired / plugged

or card might be a failure... then call your local...

  • Toshiba WWAN and Ericsson F3507g Manager?

Will be responsible for Toshiba (Toshiba 3 G Connection Manager) WWAN support modem broadband F3507g from Toshiba (Ericsson)? In particular, the NB100.

Manager of WWAN Toshiba seems more good and light Wireless Manager (115 MB) wrote on the .NET Framework.

    Post edited by: Lrrrr

The "Toshiba Wireless Manager" should be preinstalled on the NB100.
    This "WM" supports the F3507.
However, I am not sure what you mean with "Wireless Manager (115 MB) wrote on the .NET Framework".
    Whence this SW?

  • Can Tecra A10 - 14 M - I add an Ericsson F3507G card?

Is it possible to install a 3 G card into the second slot mini pci under the keyboard to enable umts also on the A10 - 14 M?

To use the card, your machine must be ready for WWAN, means he must have him appropriates the antennas. Without antennas, the card would work or maybe showing very poor performance.

  • NB100 3 G Ericsson F3507g works only with Windows 7

I did everything and I can't get it to work under Windows 7, although it works on Windows XP.
I already updated the firmware of the modem to the last R1D06 (I had to downgrade to XP to do it, because in windows 7, program reviews "No module" find.)
I installed the latest drivers for win 7 32 Toshiba, as well as the latest Wireless Manager (R2V2)
What is happening is as follows. I start Wireless Manager, and request the SIM PIN code. After I insert the code PIN SIM "success" icon appears. After a few seconds of this 'Success' icon the icon "the mobile broadband device is not found" is displayed briefly and then the animation "initializing the device mobile brodband" appears... After the PIN code request page back... If I insert the PIN again once I have the same story...
Can someone please help me, because it's driving me crazy?
    Thank you.
    Manuel Quinaz

    Hey Buddy,

This really strange story... I tested the modem 3G with Windows 7 and the drivers of Toshiba page. In my case it works correctly, I have problems.
The only problem I've had is that the SIM card was not recognized, but the solution was a simple reboot.

You have another SIM card that you can test? The SIM isn't working properly and to test another might be worth a try. ;)

Now when I turn on the 3G card, the blue light flashes once every two secconds and it also runs on the Wifi light, even thoug Wifi is disabled.

The light does not change when it is connected, always the same Flash.
And the Wireless Manager seems to lose its connection to the card and says it is not connected, even thoug it's on and internet works. Sometimes there is no blue led, and saw that it works correctly once, this is not always the same behavior.

    Can't find that either.

    Hello

Unfortunately I can't help you with this issue, but on the Toshiba download pages when a new update is available the old one disappears from the list and just one is available.
It is the same with the BIOS updates.

If you need advice or assistance may contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer.
They have access to the database of Toshiba and they can get for you older version of the firmware.
Talk with them. I don't know that they can help you with this.

  • Use no - SIM Vodafone - "the SIM card is not present?

    Hi people,

I have a T500 (2242-CTO) with the Ericsson F3507g card. I already have a card SIM of Orange that I would use. I understand that Lenovo do not block the Voda network equipment.

I inserted my SIM card and tried to set up a new connection in the dial-up connections, however when I get the HSDPA network settings and select advanced by clicking the network WAN find made appear an error indicating that "the SIM card is not present. Insert the SIM card and try again. »

I have read the forums on the orientation of the map and I can see the pins inside the slot and steered the appropriate card, but nothing I try seems to change this message.

    Any suggestions?

    See you soon,.

UM, so I tried the SIM 3 and it worked immediately.

The 3 SIM performed from a 3 3 dongle, so that the card SIM Orange from my phone. As I said, the phone is about a year now, so it is possible that there is something on the SIM from Orange card that the Ericsson 3 G chip the T500 disliked.

In any case, it's that then, thanks for reading, people move along now, nothing to see here...

My ericsson F3507g GPS can't find any satellites... I tried everything (land bridge, Garmin Nav & Go,...) as user in other post, but it still does not work...

    Any ideas?

BTW: I thought about GPS antenna malfunction...?

Can you confirm that you are able to get NMEA data flowing? And that you get all the data by satellite?

Also, it would be intresting to know if you can get out the signal 3G max indicator? That is, are you able to get 5 bars indicating maximum intensity of the 3G signal? To achieve this, you might need to move a little, preferably outdoors and also near the station a basis as possible. If you get 5 bars of GPRS or EDGE (2 G GSM) cover is not interesting, only UMTS or HSPA (3G) is interesting.

  • X 201 mini card PCI-E WWAN seen, then not seen

    Hi all

I put an Ericsson F3507G in my new X 201, which was taken from my old SL400 (FRU 43Y6479 if it makes a difference), I am aware of the issue of the white list, and I thought that Lenovo is authentic, it should work.

During the first boot, I saw error 1804 flash upward, then disappear, and then show nothing in what concerns the Device Manager.

Nor any activating / disabling BIOS or Fn + F5 would see she recognized, but no 1804 error, and it was as if the card was a ghost.

Thought that maybe the card is too old, so bought myself a newer FRU F3507G (I didn't write the particular FRU) and swapped in.

From the first start and switch then green material shot, recognized Win7 and started looking for drivers.

YAY, I thought, and then stop PC and put all screws back correctly.

Next work, infamous 1804 error, but this time no matter how much time I powered off the power, then once, he remained still.

I had no time to go by unscrewing the X 201, so cleverly (or so I thought), I got my way F1 in the BIOS and put the "without wireless and WiMax" to disable, which allows me to start.

Having now had time to try it again, it the reactivation in the BIOS and switch the hardware switch, the only thing that is recognized again is built in Wi - FI.

Any ideas on what is happening here?

    Thanks in advance,

    Marcus

    Hi all

FYI I contact technical support from Lenovo, and after putting me on hold for a few minutes, they returned with the news. These are the supported cards

    FRU 43Y6513

    FRU 60Y3183

I confirmed the other (Gobi, the first is a one Ericsson), as I went now and has been sold and use it!
