  The fact is that VGA port does not provide the audio but video signal only.
  So if you a TV connected to the computer laptop s port VGA, audio signal would not be provided.
  You need connect the TV with an extra audio cable in order to get the sound.

  In my attempt to get my Blu - Ray player to play Avatar BD, I followed the instructions and attempted to try to operate by updating the Bios, sound cards and video drivers. I received the new bios installed, new ati catalyst center installed graphics card drivers installed and sound and it still does not. In addition to this, the new drivers audio and video are spoil when I watch the video on my TV via hdmi. Before the update, when I have quand j' ai branche plugged my laptop to the TV via hdmi the sound would automatically change between the helmet speaker hdmi and s/helmet back when I unplugged the hdmi Jack. Now, it is not switch back as it did before. In addition, the return video playback worsened and the picture freezes during video playback, where it didn't before.

  So, I would like to know how I would go about the return of my system to a point before I updated all my drivers and BIOS. A system restore will allow me to return to this point or I have to uninstall manually all of these updates. Is there a document on how to manually uninstall the bios drivers audio vid? I tried to remove the graphics card Ati catalyst centre and it seems to have uninstalled but it did make a difference. Now I wish I did a system restore before dvd I made all of my updates.

  Any help on how to get back to where I was a few weeks ago would be greatly appreciated.

  To restore your system to where was go to the Control Panel, switch to the display of the icon and find the 'recovery' and go to the system restore. Follow the windows and choose a custom restore point to where coincide when everything worked normally.

  The BIOS is not affected by the Windows system restore, but if everything is back as it was, then let the new BIOS only.

  Either I'm doing something wrong or Toshiba totally effed here.

  I recently tried connected my laptop to the TV for watching videos. Of course, I plugged the laptop on VGA on TELEVISION port and everything works perfectly well on the video side.

  Then came the PC audio... and I think "Where the hell is it? Why the sound TV has NO audio input for the PC, is beyond me. I tried to connect the laptop to two red/white audio inputs RCA (used for the component), but this does not work, because they only work on the component channel.

  Why oh WHY Toshiba omit such a useful feature? The last TV I had was very well... He HAD an audio input for PC. This TV Toshiba, which is more recent than my last years... does NOT work. How did the Toshiba?

  They expect EACH laptop PC/computer owner was going to have their own speaker connected to the computer system? Well... I don't. I just the laptop speakers and nothing more. Maybe Toshiba thought that we would be happy to connect a laptop to a large and expensive TV... only to use small, tinny portable speakers?

  That's the only explanation I could think for Toshiba miss this feature. I mean.. what the hell? Seriously... Am I missing something, or the 40TL963B has really NO way or method of PC audio connection? I'll have to shell out MORE money for a decent speaker system in order to listen to the audio?

• SX10 problem with sending audio with the video presentation

  I recently deployed a Cisco SX10 and found a fault, that I can't understand. When sharing content with extreme of end users, they can see the video but don't get no audio. I checked the settings and I'm confused as to what is misconfigured.

  I checked the bases, wiring, volume, and the settings in the codec it resembles a simple set up. When I introduce locally I have the same problem - no sound from the TV.

  Any ideas?

  Looking at the Guide of Installation SX10 on pg 5.  The SX10 is not an audio connector dedicated to the VGA input, since doesn't send VGA audio you need an additional input for audio.  I test using the HDMI input, and I heard audio locally and on the far - end, since HDMI will send video and audio together.

• Sudden disappearance of the contents of the hard drive

  After I've upgraded to the latest OS X El Capitan Version (10.11.5), one of my hard disks (called Audio video) has ceased to show everything!

  When I open the drive on the desktop, the entire folder looks absolutely empty. When I tried to make a new folder in the space of the disk (right-click and new folder) the following message is displayed:

  When I open the hard drive the drive of "Audio vidéo" first aid program "sees". When I clikced first AIDS the following message is displayed:

  It should be compatible with your Portege M700

  You know the Dynadock? This pretty s toy and provides different ports.
  For example the Dynadock DVI (PA3542E-2PR) supports video output from DVI port and Dynadock VGA (PA3541E-1PRP) supports the VGA instead of DVI port.

  Hi, I looked at the forum in other places and I've seen an adapter that can work with other my monitor, but I'm not too sure. The HP USB graphic adapter connects to a DVI / VGA? And if it is could I then connect my other monitors VGA cable, (the only entrance/exit) with pins on the connector DVI / VGA?

  This is the profile for the HP USB graphic adapter (model # NL571AA). According to the specifications, the adapter kit consists of HP USB graphics card, a USB cable and a DVI - I to VGA. Plug the USB cable into the computer and the USB graphic card. If you are using a cable and a VGA monitor, plug the DVI - I to VGA in the USB graphics adapter. Then plug your time your monitor VGA audio and USB DVI - I to VGA graphics card installed.

  You can do the same thing with any other adapter USB / VGA on the market, including EVGA more + UV19 or the EVGA more + UV39

• Controller Ethernet HP Compaq d330D drivers does not, be corrupted, or cannot run

  Speicifications:

  HP Compaq d330D, Windows XP Professional 32-bit (90% sure of this)

  Error messages are pop ups saying new hardware has been found, several controllers, including the Ethernet controller.

  The old operating system is Windows 2000, which I have upgraded to Windows XP Professional.

  The problem that I am facing is this:

  We had several old PC which was intended to be sold to a customer. He had old data and configurations on it, so we decided the best course of action would be to upgrade from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Professional. In the meantime of wiping drives clean it is why no data would remain.

  After you install Windows XP Professional, I get three different messages, everything about "new hardware found". It's a little hair in my tingle neck, since the search for the right drivers can be such a pain in the... buttocks. Messages, said that the VGA, Audio driver and the Ethernet controller driver is not found. Looking at the Device Manager, it indeed showed no active components to the network card. I thought I have solve this one first so that the remaining drivers could be found using the computer itself, instead of the hassle USB key, I am now. (Work on a server, which means that the USB ports do not show, only on my local PC. I have to download on my server account, dropbox myself files, download locally and place them on the USB drive)

  I downloaded several drivers from the HP Compaq website, everything for the Office of d330D, but none of them work. When running the programs, they install and do nothing or give me an error message indicating that they are corrupt and could not be executed.

  More info: I decided to get to the old configuration of drivers on I had not yet installed Windows XP on computers. Although these are drivers for Windows 2000, I thought that they could give me some insight on what I should hunt for drivers. The name that came was "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ether for hp"

  Basically, my question is: How can I get Ethernet controller to work on the HP Compaq d330D machine, which is now Windows XP Professional running?

  Looks like you're in this scenario.

  Note Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 editions are specific. If your system came with Windows 8.1/10 unilingual homepage, Windows 8.1/10 will not be activated.

  Unfortunately there is no clear marker for end users to determine the edition so my advise is to try first to try Windows 10 Home, if she does not activate Windows 10 unilingual homepage.

• Inserting multiple clips piled on different tracks

  Hi all

  I know this must have made the point before and my memory has the thrill that I thought I had done this in the past, but I can't really remember or find it now.

  Basically, inserting several clips from project window into the timeline and piling on different slopes (vertically) instead of the head to the tail.

  Okay so going to answer my own question, after some game, I found this way to.

  Select all the files that you want to insert

  Right-click and select Create multicam

  synchronization via start, unless you want to try and audio sync them (I use the plural eyes 3)

  create sequences of multicam

  CTRL double-click the multicam

  This gives you a sequence with all the files on separate tracks, if I really don't want / need a multicam for this particular project, I cut and past in a new sequence can use the plural of sync audio vid, otherwise I'm just sync in the multicam and im ready to go.

  Although it works, it really should be an easier way, a Shift + Ctrl while dropping on the timeline... request feature!

  PS I read someone state that it was not a regularly necessary funciton first... I don't really know what kind of work they do, but I need it every day!

• PREL11 - lost contact with my media - said "media offline".

  I used the trial and created a short film. After a few days, I bought the program. Now that the original film can be seen on the timeline - it has everything (empty clips, music, text, etc.), but the original audio/vid is just a miniature of "Media disconnected", I'm sure that I made a few moving folder and that is why - but I can't seem to find a way to return to the original of the files...
