  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  Add one wmode as another and that should take care of it:

  Window mode (wmode) - what is it for?
  There are three modes of window.
  Window
  Opaque
  Transparent
  By default, Flash Player gets its own hWnd in Windows. This means that the Flash animation actually exist in an instance of display in Windows who lives above the basic browser display window. So if it seems to be in the window of the browser, technically, it's not. It is more efficient for Flash in this way to draw and it is faster and more efficient rendering mode. However, it is drawing regardless of the browser HTML rendering surface. This is why this default mode (which equals wmode = "window") does not good composition with DHTML layers. That is why your drop-down JavaScript menus happen behind your Flash animation.
  (As opaque) window mode, Flash Player is not an hWnd. This means that the browser tells the Flash Player, when and where to draw on the surface of the own browser rendering. The Flash animation is no longer are made at a higher level if you want to. It's right there in the page with the rest of the elements on the page.   (1) have you installed Windows XP Media Center Edition on your computer?
  (2) what is the brand and model of the computer?

  You can try the following method and check if it helps.

  Method 1:
  (a) computer and do not open any other software before you watch TV. Close software may not be sufficient in some cases.
  (b) after the opening of Media Center, wait about 10 seconds before trying to watch TV.
  (c) If you have recently installed new TV tuner hardware, make sure it is properly connected/sitting, make sure that it is compatible with the version of Media Center you are using.
  (d) reinstall the TV tuner drivers. If you have installed a tuner separately, reinstall the drivers disc that came with the tuner.
  (e) use Windows system restore to restore the system at a time where the error will not occur.

  Method 2:
  (a) turn on the Media Center computer and connect to the Internet.
  (b) click Start, all programs, and then click Windows Update.
  (c) I agree to download plug-ins from Microsoft if you are prompted.

  Trying to turn on my laptop using the built in battery nothing happens.  When the laptop is connected to the power supply and turned on Windows does not.  It shows something in the sense that it does not properly off.  It tries to load back to a system restore point before the last stop, but seems to fail again during this process.  All that is displayed is a black screen. Currently the power on light is on, the battery light is on, but the drive activity light is off.

  I click on any link in HOTMAIL or GMAIL and it does that refresh the page, it won't go to page links in a new window or in the current window. The links work on all the other web pages.

  I disabled Fasterfox and no problem. I guess that's maybe a good time to look at the plugin Fasterfox.

  Hello!

  Use BL for all ideal work for (HTML X sites). Now I started working with PHP and have a site with DW and Cartweaver, for a store, and I can't show her in BL. I'm on a Mac OSX MAMP (Apache/MySQL). My site shows in Live View and different browsers on my Mac, but I need check the versions of IE. My site looks as if it is correctly configured etc please can you point me in the right direction to get BL to work for this?

  We believe that it is a permissions problem.

  1. Open the menu in the BrowserLab Panel and choose permission settings...
  2. Add "/ Applications/MAMP/htdocs/store_cw" and give it the authorization allow in the dialog box
  3. Add "http://localhost/store_cw" and give it the authorization allow in the dialog box
  4. Close the dialog box and make sure that the changes have been saved
  5. Try clicking on the BrowserLab Panel preview and let us know if it works or not

  Flash to work properly. Now, some flash videos work very well and some don't appear at all. If I go to login admin or IE running as an administrator, then it works on all sites.

  Details:

  Win7 32 bit IE8 all up-to-date, current flash (done a uninstall and download a new copy).

  Used to work correctly on logon 'A' (not administrator). I don't know if it started due to lack of right with a few changes. Only change I made recently is to install Office 2010 (2007 was installed before). Videos that do not only see as an empty box and an icon of the space booked as a missing graphic. He doesn't even know what a missing flash element. About half the videos very well work and the other half are missing. If I right click on it, it's like contextual right click on empty space, just defalt, menu, no menu flash. If I start as an admin or run IE8 as administrator then all flash videos appear fine.   In fact, I found a solution to this shortly after I posted.  The first symptom, what we saw was that png files are not correctly displayed in IE7.  For example, google on google.com image is a png and he would simply have an image place holder.  Upgrade to IE8 fixed this problem, and only after IE8 that we noticed the program Flash.  Anyway, long story short, start Microsoft FixIt 50198 - security for Windows/IE7/IE8 Editor

  Well, it works now. I just tried to put it on my local machine and it works fine now. I had everything, including the video on a local file server. I guess that's a problem. Which is weird, but it works now.
