T510 keep bluetooth turned on
How to configure the BlueTooth radio to stay on thru turn off and restart?
My Tech Support system update it used all the time.
I just have not found the right place for this configuration.
Thank you, Bob
Ha ha! Found the problem. Searched the forum and found a few others had this same problem.
Resolution...
F1--> configuration of the BIOS--> (by default) F9--> F10--> reboot.
Until I found that I discovered that it happened only in STANDBY MODE.
Very weird, I'm not going to try to understand this - just accept, smile and continue!
I often wonder non-techie types how to deal with this kind of nonsense ;-) I am a 67 year old retired technician and have seen everything
by an effort.
My advice to everyone is to keep a log book and document all of this stuff, a year from now, you DON'T remember!
Thank you, Bob

Overheating is probably possible. Check that the fan is working OK. Also, make sure that the vents are not blocked. If they are blocked by the accumulation of dust, buy a can of compressed air in a computer store to blow off the dust, etc.
In addition, make sure that the cards any plugin (video cards, etc.) are securely fixed in their media.

need security child lock to keep from turning on the computer
OK, I admit that my Grand-child under 5 years is fast and smart. Because he has figured out how to touch the button lights up and will, I can't keep his hand offs. If there is only a proof cover protection child for a locking of the monitor screen and the laptop and the phone please let me know. If this isn't gadget guru that came. I know I'm not the only one who has this problem and how many children made up your phone or open your screen.
Your Mac is probably configured to connect automatically when you turn it on. Please read the value of your Mac for you connect automatically on startup. To prevent him from doing this, select 'disabled' in the drop down menu to an automatic connection.
To require a password after waking from sleep, please read OS X El Capitan: ask for a password after the awakening of your Mac.
To prevent someone from using your Mac after the start of his screen saver please read "Locking your screen" in the basics of the Mac: display a screen saver when you are not using your Mac - Apple Support. Hello
Remove the battery from BT and try to reinstall again.
Usually, you should be able to turn the BT on and off using the FN + F8 keys
As far as I know you can use the WLan or BT I m not very well, but it would also be possible to use the two functions together.

Hello
Could be linked to the heat, make sure that the computer has adequate ventilation, maybe use a small fan to
Add air flow. On a PC, the cards, the memory and the cable (both ends) will need to be reinstalled.
Remove all power and remove and replace those, don't do not just tight. Can't do that on a good laptop.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Win 7 x 64: No. WWAN after the resumption of the mode standby and Bluetooth turned off
Hey guys,.
I had this problem for a few weeks 1-2, after the exit of the mode ensures my WWAN - the Sony Ericsson 3507g - modem is invisible and my Bluetooth is disabled.
WWAN: the light is off, there is no switch on the screen Fn + F5 and power off/on with the hardware switch does nothing either, after a reboot, that everything is back to normal again until you go back to sleep. A few days ago he suddenly perfectly well but when I had to restart, the problem is back.
Bluetooth: the adapter is always disabled after sleep and sometimes after a reboot, I can not find a model to know when this happens exactly... but I have since my WWAN modem is upward I can't help but wonder if it has the same cause...
I already did a complete new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 today and I'm under the latest Vista drivers, because those who do not work with the Ericsson Wireless Manager Windows 7, they ran flawlessly for a few weeks, so that they should not be the problem...
BOT of the above issues is dealbreakers for me because I'm using WWAN all the time and I use a Bluetooth mouse... then... Please help me ;-)
Thank you in advance,
Stefan
I think I found the culprit: the last time I had this problem I didn't know what was the reason.
After that the above post I got it works fine until recently it suddenly reappeared without having done me anything (Finally, I've done something, but I couldn't understand that).
I installed a few games, but nothing about the wwan adapter.
I also had the same problem to launch a vanilla Ubuntu 9.10 x 64.
Finally it dawned on me that, just as the problem the first time, I had also installed Ubuntu. I think that something about the way that Ubuntu handles the umts modem makes it behave this way.
This time (since I seen Ubuntu as the reason yet and I couldn't understand anything more), I opened the Thinkpad and looked for clues as to why this was happening - loose cables and all that - but nothing was wrong. I also disconnected the small backup battery for a few minutes to reset all the BIOS (except the part that is not volatile of course) - who probably had the same effect as turn off/turn on the modem I/O on-screen that solved the problem last time.
Then, I rebooted, entered the BIOS, responsible for the default installation with F9 and it suited my needs. Since then he has worked flawlessly again...
I'm not sure that Ubuntu bad, but it's the only logical explanation, and I think that's the reason why some mistreatment of the modem which required a "reset" on the base material, it is why a complete reinstallation of Windows did not do one thing...
For now, I can just advise all users T500 WWAN to avoid Linux - Ubuntu, especially - at least until understand you what causes the strange behavior.
Just my 50 ct other people with the same problem so some ideas on how to solve this problem.
Stefan

Bluetooth, turn on and off again when matching
I have a new iMac for a few months and now I bought an iPhone 6. When I try to pair my iPhone with my iMac, I see on the iMac that's matching (like on my iPhone), I accept the pairing of both devices, but on my Mac, I see that my iPhone is connected, for about one second and it says that my iPhone is not connected. On my iPhone, it says that my iMac is not connected. When I try again, I have a brief window that give me a code, but I don't know what to do, the keyboard does not appear, so I can't enter the code. What is the problem? Thank you.
An iPhone will pair not via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) with the exception of hotspot and then only if your cell phone plan he supports. See below for more information. https://discussions.Apple.com/docs/doc-7722
If you try to use the procedure of transfer/continuity or AirDrop, which does not have Bluetooth but devices don't are NOT matched. Bluetooth must be just on and the devices within range of the other. The following may help in problems of transfer/continuity: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204678
