my laptop keeps itself turn off
my laptop keeps turning itself off and don l, t knows how to solve
Hello
Could be linked to the heat, make sure that the computer has adequate ventilation, maybe use a small fan to
Add air flow. On a PC, the cards, the memory and the cable (both ends) will need to be reinstalled.
Remove all power and remove and replace those, don't do not just tight. Can't do that on a good laptop.
Also check the power supply Plan of Advanced Options to make sure there aren't some parameters here that cause
power off.
Look in the Event Viewer to see if something is reported on those.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party

BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)
Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

Y580 with Win 8 Wireless keeps itself turning off during sleep - new edition.
I have a newer Y580 with Windows 8.
I've had this computer for months and the wireless worked perfectly well. I did no new changes and updates that I can remember recently have run.
Whenever I close the lid on my laptop, the wireless connection will turn off. Windows displays the airplane mode is DISABLED and it shows no networks available in the section 'Wi - Fi '.
Wifi works only after disablng of the wireless device, the reactivation of the device and then clicking on "Diagnose" from the popup menu of the device.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Equium A100-549 itself turns off
The laptop starts to turn itself turned off (mainly when playing games etc.) which seems to be due to overheating.
There is a lot of dust in the vents, etc., so it's probably what is wrong.
Can anyone provide guidance on how to disassemble the laptop so that the dust can be cleaned?
Or spray a can of compressed air into the vents would be enough?

> Or spraying a can of compressed air into the vents would be enough?
Definitely Yes!Compressed air jet is a professional tool to clean the laptop cooling modules.
You can buy these sprays of most computer resellers!I would not recommend you to disassemble the laptop to clean the fans. First it is very complicated and risky.
During this disassembly procedure, some parts may be damaged. The jet of compressed air is safer and you can clean a lot faster

My Satellite Pro M70 itself turns off in the middle of the secuence of startup
After turning on if it passes the test post and enters the menu grub (Linux + Windows) or BIOS
without problems, but most of the time after the start of the BONE found in the start - up, suddenly it powers off the power. The problem becomes bigger and bigger as punishment I can boot any operating system
As seen on messages more soon as I cleaned the vents of CPU with a spray suddenly sure I wasn't a problem of overheatting.
Someone has an idea of what can happen?
Thank you
Hmm, the laptop passes the MESSAGE correctly and it stops during the initialization of the operating system. Is this good?
Well, in this case I would exclude the RAM to malfunction.
I put t also think that it's an overheating problem because the laptop should work a little longer until it would be closed due to high temperature.
What about the HARD drive malfunction? Are you sure that the HARD drive is ok?
In my opinion, you should check the HDD and maybe try another.

K010 ENVY: my laptop will not turn off
Hello
When I shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume my laptop, it will die completely.
All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.
And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.
Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.
After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:
-If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.
-If start/stop: OS works normally without error or warning.
After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.
Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.
Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?
Thank you
Hello
You are welcome
On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.
You can use the following method to install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.
Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe
Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).
Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.
When finished, restart the laptop.
If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.

Overheating is probably possible. Check that the fan is working OK. Also, make sure that the vents are not blocked. If they are blocked by the accumulation of dust, buy a can of compressed air in a computer store to blow off the dust, etc.
In addition, make sure that the cards any plugin (video cards, etc.) are securely fixed in their media.

My HP Slate 7 itself turns off
Hello world
My HP Slate 7 itself turns off, even when it is plugged. It becomes a real problem because I use it as an alarm clock as well. This problem only starts in the last week or two, but has been making more and more frequent. Suggestions help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

This behavior does not seem normal. 7 Slate do you have?
If it were my camera, I erase it with a Factory Reset and start over. If the behavior appears immediately, then I would call HP for warranty repair.
By clicking on the "Support" link at the top of the page eventually will lead you to pages on your device where troubleshooting tips are available.

Laptop will not turn off by itself
I have a HP Pavilion 15 - e097sa that is currently running Windows 8.1. When using the battery, it is not usually turned off by itself. I have to press on and hold the power button until it turns off. When the power supply is connected, it shut down normally. There is no error message and it just turns back normally afterwards.
I contacted HP Support and the solution is to disable a quick start, but thanks anyway

Satellite A210-17 itself turns off!
At my little laptop less than a year and he turns off itself. I can work away at the office or on the net and suddenly the screen is blank and the computer turns off - all the power buttons are not lit and when I press the button to try to turn it back on it goes to the recovery page of the system where I start windows in normal mode... Its happened 3 times today and its so frustrating. The battery is fully charged so I know this isn't the issue. Do you think that there is a hardware failure?
Maybe its overheating? Have you checked the inlet for dust? You can blow off the dust with compressed air in a CAN.

Satellite L770 itself turns off
Hi all on the forum,
I hope someone can shed some light on a question that I'm going to...
My L770 older only a few months and until recently, was a fine artist - fast, flexible and reliable.
Until recently, it is so now, she turns to what appears to be random intervals from the initial start up - anywhere from a few minutes or even several hours.
There will be moments where I work away, usually just an email or a spreadsheet, maybe with music in the background, and then... The screen is just COMPLETELY EMPTY and all the indicators show that its execution is no longer just the electric lights and the battery stays on...
If I try an immediate restart it will be more often unsuccessful, often requiring five or six attempts, where the computer starts, perhaps gets to the password screen or sometimes actually charge the screeen office and then... It will go down new... Although actually once to execution and moved again it run for another few hours.
Sometimes, on reboot, I get a blue screen with one or two messages that are:
(1) stop: C000021a (ftal system error)
start a status of 0 x 00000001 (0XC 0000001, 0 X 00100600)or
(2) 0X000000f4 (0 x 00000003, 0X89A2ECF0, 0X8DC441E0, 0 x 8Dc4434C)
I tried to restore to an hour earlier, tried with the charger turned off and just running on battery, it makes no difference. I do not run all programs requiring a large amount of resources, I have really slot use the capacity of this machine.
I mention this because I have read it could be a heat problem, so I downloaded a base temperature recorder and that means stay casual to 91 ° C which has me a bit surprised, but I don't know what would be considered critical AND the more usual time for this is to happen in the early hours of the morning when nothing is really happening just standby... I could mention also that well that I travel a lot by plane between my work in Australia and my home in the North of the Thailand that the computer usually works in an air-conditioned room...
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Victor.
Hello
91 ° C is really high temperature, and I think that the laptop stops automatically due to high temperature. Generally, this is necessary to prevent material damage.
Question: clean the cooling fans in the past?
Dust and debris that can affect cooling performance module and air could not circulate properly.I clean my fans from time to time with a jet of compressed air. Usually, it's good enough to get the dust removed
Recommend to do the same and to test the functionality of s for laptop. -
Heya,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. My computer is turns off without warning when the battery is full and everything seems to work OK. He only started to do in the last two weeks and sometimes it won't, but usually it stops.
Anyone would be able to give me an idea of what the problem is - the battery, adapter sector or something more in depth?
Hey Sammi,
Unexpected power thresholds are usually a sign of overheating. It is built in the thermal switch to only if the CPU temperature is not too hot.
Make sure that the fans are working properly and that it is not an accumulation of dust in the CPU radiator. (Make sure you can feel the hot air coming out of the laptop when it works).
Check the various Councils of forum for other posts related to this issue.
Kind regards
