T510i Windows 8 and Bluetooth

Hello

I just installed Windows on my T510i 8 but I'm unable to control the Bluetooth Radio.

It seems to be constantly on.

If I press FN + F5 anything goes (not even flight mode)

I downloaded and installed all the drivers and software that I can leave the Lenovo Web site.

Is there something I can do what I can to turn the Bluetooth radio on and off...

This should hopefully be relevant, there are new drivers available HotKey (by Fn + F5 & Co.), but unfortunately they are not yet available at SystemUpdate or matrices.

Make sure that you install a version of bluetooth stack Vista capable. The first version was v5. You can download it here:

  • Windows 8 and Bluetooth travel mouse

I bought BT mouse to travel for use with my Pro Surface.  Mouse connected immediately and I can use the basic functions of the mouse.

I bought it to use the two extra buttons.  The software provided with the mouse is rejected as not for my system and the download is the same problem.  Where is the software that allows me to use the buttons?  The name of that Logitech rises during the installation of the software (before it was rejected) so I guess it's really a logitech mouse?

I would really like to find the software that makes this perfectly usable mice.  Please and it goes well with the Pro.  Windows 8 has been long enough now that I think there should be a solution.  It really isn't a question of Pro surface I think.

  • Re: Key FN Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit and Bluetooth crash

I have an old problem with the FN key. I installed Vista and after a while, it stops working. Under Windows, when I press the FN button it freezes about 3 seconds a blue screen telling me that Vista crashed, begins a memory dump, and then restart the laptop. And now, bluetooth doesn't work anymore and if I try to enable it dows the same thing.

P.S. windows are new installed (4 days) and has automatic updates so far.
I reinstalled Toshiba Value Package and Bluetooth Monitor, Bluetooth Stack.

Can you please tell us which model of laptop you have exactly?
Have you tried to roll back the OS to an earlier time (a day or two back) to see if the problem persists?

  • HP Pavilion p7-1451 USB 3.0 and Bluetooth drivers for Windows Server 2008 R2

I bought a HP Pavilion p7-1451 so I might have a machine that is affordable, yet powerful enough to put a server software development environment on (I'm a software engineer).

It came with Windows 8, but I need Windows Server 2008 R2, I own through an MSDN subscription.  I did what I always do in these cases, re-partioned the hard drive, re-formatted and installed the new operating system.

I have almost all devices work fine, but it still does not recognize the USB 3.0 ports and Bluetooth device.  I looked everywhere but could not find something that works.  Whatever it either from the HP site is targeted for Windows 7 or 8 and trying one of those, it tells me "your system does not meet the requirements of the operating system" and MSI publishes all the drivers for this particular motherboard (that I can find anyway).

Motherboard: MSI MS-7778, also known under the name of: MSI 2AEO version 1.0

    BIOS: FRIEND 8.12

Here is the list of "other devices" in Device Manager that Windows does not recognize:

    BCM20702A0

    (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller

    (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller

    Bluetooth device ID: USB\VID_0A5C & PID_21F1 & REV_0012

    USB Controller device ID: PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_2AE0103C & REV_03

Windows doesn't always recognize them after allowing him to look on the internet.

I googled everywhere and I'm not getting anywhere.

    Does anyone have advice?

Any chance that this could be linked to the BIOS?

I'm not having any chance to find a BIOS download for this motherboard either.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Find out!

    Thanking you

    Omal Bose

Dear lasvegaswireman thank you very much for your answer. Last day I contacted the HP support team and I got the resolution, Compaq 15-s001TU comes with pre loaded back free. If you want to upgrade to windows 8, I believe that you will find no difficulty in finding the drivers for the HP product support page. But in the case of windows 7, you will not get the driver LAN, Wifi and Bluetooth page main media because HP made this model to be worked with windows 8. They provide generic drivers for above mentioned drivers missing. First of all let me dissect the details of manufactured goods of chipset for this model which is not mentioned in anywhere (not even in the catalogue).

    Blue tooth - Ralink Chipset

    WiFi-Ralink Wifi

    LAN-Realtek Chipset

    -Realtek card reader

    Chipset: Intel

    USB3-Intel chipset

I contacted HP support to solve the problem of missing driver. You can use the following links to get missing drivers for Windows 7 64-bit professional edition

    Hello Shehanf93

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I understand that you have a problem with your laptop. However, since it is a commercial laptop, you should post your question on the map cell of the HP Enterprise Forums for a better answer.

    Hello

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer and the phone?

    ·         Do you use the computer laptop or desktop?

    ·         What application you use to connect?

I suggest you to contact the software manufacturer / manufacturer of mobile phones for more information on this issue.

  • Y at - it Windows 7 drivers for this wireless and bluetooth device?

Have a DELL XPS 8700 with the following wireless and bluetooth chipset/map:

Intel wireless Bluetooth 4.0 + HS adapter

Intel Dual Band Wireless - AC 7260

Are there drivers for Windows 7 64 bit for this chipset? Reason why I asked was when I tried to get DELL to install Windows 7 Pro instead of the Windows 8.1 on my machine, their excuse was that there were no drivers for these 2 items in Windows 7. I do not quite believe them.

Having someone here "converted" Windows 8.1 (not pro) for Windows 7 and you have the mentioned chipset here?

    The guide says:

The schema partition and target system type set as default system BIOS or UEFI computers MBR partition and can be used in most cases.

In the rare cases where you need to install on a 3 to or more large drive with a SecureBoot/UEFI BIOS select GPT partition system for UEFI computers (I have not tested).

So, if I did not need to install Windows 7 on a 3 TB drive, it will be better to disable the secure boot and UEFI to legacy? Or do I only in order to disable secure startup, but the setting UEFI?

Reason why I ask, is that the other installation of Windows 7 guides you need to disable these two parameters, but in the guide you sendt me it seems that the only thing I should maybe change the start setting secure. Or maybe not?

  • Windows 8 and broadcom 2070 bluetooth on HP Pavilion

I've updated a laptop HP dm4-1160us from Windows 7 Home Premium from Windows 8 pro.  During the installation of the Upgrade Advisor had me uninstall Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth.  After installation, I've updated the Broadcom driver (Version 12.0.0.10 2/2/12).  Poster Broadcom Device Manager Bluetooth and Bluetooth enumerator as "working properly", but I can not connect my phone with Bluetooth capability.  The phone displays in the list of devices such as working properly, but when I try to connect from the phone, it does not connect.  I also tried another Bluetooth phone and it cannot see the laptop.  Can someone help me solve this?  Thank you

I've also upgraded to windows 8, and I had to uninstall the Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth driver. I found this and it worked perfectly for me. (It works for windows 8)

Simply download and install and it fixed my bluetooth drivers

  • Auto unlock with Apple Watch does not appear in my window security and confidentiality

"Disable the automatic connection' or Auto unlock with Apple Watch" appears in my window security and confidentiality

    Hello

Automatic unlocking with Apple Watch is available for the Mac models since the mid-2013 and later running macOS Sierra.

    Check that:

    • Your Mac has Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled.
    • Your Apple ID use two factor authentication (as opposed to the two-step verification):
    • Your Mac and Apple Watch are connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID:
      • On your Mac, choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, and then click iCloud.
      • On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then go to general > Apple ID.
    • Your Apple Watch uses a password:
      • On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then type the access code.
    • Transfer procedure is enabled on your iPhone and your Mac:
      • On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > transfer procedure.
      • On your Mac, go to: System preferences > General - down, tick the option "Allow transfer between the Mac and your iCloud devices."
      • If these parameters are already enabled, a user has found that it helped to deactivate and reactivate the procedure of transfer on their iPhone.
