Hi I have v 9.2.1 upgrade on my iPhone 6. If there were 400 MB of free space applications did not work saying that it doesn't have enough space. I have deleted 1 GB of photos and videos, but the same problem perisits and now the mail app crashes. In settings, it shows 0 bytes of free space once again please help

Any device storage size you have, 400 MB nothing during the space count. If you have removed pictures and videos, do you have them removed from the recently deleted folder? I suggest make you a backup of your device and that you try to restore the backup. If that does not release your space problem, assuming that you have available space, then I suggest you restore the unit to the factory, and then add your content individually, do not use your backup.

  • T61 wireless connectivity problem

I have a laptop T61 and the problem is that wireless connectivity decreases after every 2 minutes. This happens when the laptop is running on battery and power cable is not connected to the laptop. Connectivity goes down for 5 seconds and automatically resumes.

In the hardware system menu Device Manager in the Control Panel, make a right click on the wifi adapter, select properties and there should be a tab where you can specify if the device can be turned off to save energy. Clear the check box turn off the device to save power. The device then remains on even when the computer is in stanby so it will stop your battery more quickly.

  • How to level a T61 HDD for one SSD without reinstall?

Hi all. I bought this ThinkPad, I write with back in 2008 (a T61 6465-CTO with Vista and Intel integrated graphics) and he has been working a lot to me since then. I had no problems with it and his equipment is still able to manage what I have to do. However, I wanted to move her to an SSD HARD drive is faster and snappier. I know that I have would be limited at SATA1 speeds with this camera if I don't want to change the BIOS (which I did not), but I think that even this would be a great improvement on the existing HARD drive.

To that end, I recently bought an SSD that their prices have dropped slightly (bought a new 120 GB SSD Samsung 840 for less than $100). I said SSD sitting next to me now but I did nothing yet because I want to make sure that I have the right to clone the old disk and swap in the new process. From what I understand instructions, I should:

1 turn on the computer, install the Samsung Data Migration Software
    2. connect the SSD to a USB port via a USB-SATA Adapter
3 clone the main for the SSD connected HARD drive using the software of data Migration
    4. turn the computer off, physically remove the old HDD and SSD in its place
5 turn on the computer and everything should be fact/same as before (with the exception that the computer has a new storage drive)

    Is this correct?

The HARD drive is encrypted so I removed the password for user/master I have to enter when it starts up, but what I have to do the same for the BIOS password that I am invited to when you turn on the computer? What the hidden; restore partition would clone too much or it would be lost. The HARD drive is in my opinion a 160 GB model, while the SSD is 120 GB but I have read that this difference in capacity should not be a problem since I'm using less of the new disc capacity (I have about 100 GB of free space on the HARD disk)?

Sorry for all the questions. I have very little experience when it comes to changes in the software/hardware and I really would like to avoid wasting it so I would appreciate any help from people who have knowledge fact how to do this successfully. Thank you.

The installation that you want to be cloning is optimized for spinning a player - not SSD - and you would have to align in a first time, disable the services later and again, you would not get the performance of a "clean" installation

You can use any disk Vista installation as long as it matches the version (Home, Pro, full) on your COA - the worst that can happen is that you would have to call MS and activate by phone.

I had the question why you want to the outdated drivers and other bloat Lenovo recovery partition on expensive SSD space as well, but it's your call. If you provision the reader - and I think you should - you won't initially that much space...

TRIM running manually is certainly a possibility, but not one that I'm particularly sharp, especially on a small disc of TLC as the Samsung you have. You will need to be on it for not to have slow down for analysis.

    Good luck.

  • T61 HDD no operating system validates

I work at a major University (Paris is) and got a professional T61 6466 - 5DG. It was untouched since November 2007 because I was very happy with my T42 unfortunately struck by lightning through the telephone network. The T61 has been implemented under XP Lenovo in September 2010. I had 2 or 3 times a month a blue screen with something like "attempt to write to the memory. Victory to protect your system has stopped... Reboot... "and I did not like (I tried to build a personal network). "I received last week after the start of"HARD disk not initialized", I restarted and still last Friday the same on a blue screen dark after the Lenovo logo page, but it was the end: the T61 starts an Intel startup routine and said: valid no operating system on the HARD drive. The HARD drive is a Seagate Momentus ST9120822AS 5400-3 (ASM P/N 42 T 1306 and 42 T 1307 FRU). Connected trough is a USB adapter is only seen under XP in Device Manager and is "not initialized". A recovery tool to rebuild the file system (and I could copy the my important Documents) but lacked the FAT32 partition hidden (seen by the same tool on the drive HARD internal to an another T61 6466 - 5DG of a colleague). HARD drive through the Seagate Seatools long generic test and I am more than puzzled. Of course, I did not burn the DVD from the hidden partition: with a new labtop...

We got in my T61 University many of the same brand and I checked 4: it's the same HDD Seagate and I found on the Web talks of early failures of Seagate Barracuda AND Momentus HDD. His colleagues are not afraid (IBM/Lenovo has been chosen on my suggestion for its reliability: I got the family 380 without any problem). Can you help me?

Apparently there was a big bug in the software of these hard drives: Seagate explained they just sell the discs as OEM and software disk has been mounted by Lenovo. On the Lenovo support site, there is a software update for the discs. If it can help someone...

  • Satellite C660-1GK - C HDD partition problem

    Hi all!

I have the Toshiba Satellite C660-1GK for a year and a half. After 6 months, my hard drive is dead.

First the laptop has been really slow, then started the famous clatter of the disc.
I made backup and checked the disk with tools from Hirens. Toshiba diag will read even not she, Smart said that his State of health is bad bad sectors (30% or more), began to burst... I therefore took the laptop to my ASP.

They replaced the disc and then 13 months later (a week ago) the same story! Disk health went even lower (was 11%) and bad sectors initially jumping like crazy.
Once again, a trip to ASP.

I have my laptop today with a new drive. After that reading posts on this forum, I'm afraid that there or card mother/problem of power or we're just all with no luck with readers.

I just, I can't accept that the disks die randomly every 4-12 months to meet. My last drive on HP laptop lasted 4 years! I have about five more months of warranty and I'm really not satisfied with the situation. This laptop is on my desk, it has own station with nice, big fan so this isn't overheating - basically, I took out of the House in September.

I'm careful with it! But if the disk dies before the end of the year, maybe it's time to get a new laptop.
    Toshiba no, this time :(

Please, you have any ideas, advice... ?

    Hello

A few years ago, I bought a laptop from another manufacturer.
My first HARD drive died after over 2 years of use. I bought another, has replaced the old HDD and the new HARD drive died after 4 months of use.

No matter which HARD drive is going to die sooner or later because his part instrumentation it s a question of HARD drive use and the question of how you handle all.

In my opinion it s a bad luck of course sound always pity if a HARD drive starts to malfunction but I m afraid there are not many options to prevent it.
Of course, you can switch to a SSD drive which is stable in use. I did a few months ago, I bought the 250 GB SSD drive and replaced the internal HARD drive

  • Pavilion g6 HDD space very quickly

Hi, I bought a laptop Pavilion g6 a month ago. I love this computer and get used to the new system.

But the only thing that concerns me is that hard drive space is used very quickly. That's scared me, eventhoug I have a 500 GB hard drive, that is 390 GB now. It updates every time feeding on hard disk space.

Since I am new to this, I don't know what to do to stop this. And also, I'm afraid that if I do not have the regular updates of HP my computer will not run as it should.

Can someone help me with this 'problem '.

  • Hard disk space problems

I have a MacBook Pro three years, with a hard drive of 250 GB. I have about 28 GB of free space. Try to free up more space that I deleted a few thousand pictures from iPhoto are also in the picture. My photos on the hard drive space has decreased about 5 GB, but the space allocated to the 'other' has increased by a comparable amount. Why?

I don't know but I would download and run Omni DiskSweeper. It can help you to sort out the problems of disk space and free space.

  • Local disk C has the least space, where the Local D drive has much more space: problem is drive C starts instead of because...

I had to reinstall XP. Before reinstallation, D drive was the drive started on my computer and I have not had any problems with space. Obviously I screwed up letting it keep the partitioned drive or what I had to do at some point, because after reinstalling XP C drive the drive that begins (C has no space and D wants everything as before). Now, I don't have enough space to download programs, I need to work from. In fact, I don't have enough room to do anything! C drive only has 7. something GB on it compared with with 30 0r 32 GB!

How can I get the D drive and do what is now drive C? Alternatively, I can change somehow D drive where all downloads to go and work from there anyway? I don't know how to change where a download will. Can someone please help me out here because I'm way behind with work; cannot afford professional maintenance COMP.; and have no idea what to do.

    Hello

You may need to back up important data on the computer and and then format the D; drive to remove all the installation files and creates the disk space.

Also I suggest you perform a disk cleanup on the computer. To get the procedure you can refer: Description of the tool in Windows XP Disk Cleanup: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310312

And uninstall unwanted computer programs, see: remove programs you don't need more: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/maintain/removeprog.mspx

  • T61 DVD/CDRW problem

    Dear Lenovo Community Forum,

I bought T61 in the year 2008 and it stayed like my laptop favorite for the last two years. It perform all the tasks well and does not give me a lot of problems apart from notifications of dvd/CD-RW, which have become quite annoyance lately. I tried searching for clues about this problem on google, but not a lot of results.

The problem in question is a singular box pop up that tells me to:

    [b] problem eject MAST * beep * A DVD/CDRW UJDA775 ATA Device [/ b]

[quote] "Windows can't stop your ' MAST * beep * A DVD/CDRW UJDA775 ATA Device ' device because a program is still using it. Close all programs that might be using the device, and then try again later. [/ quote]

I clicked OK on him and he returned once again in a minute or two. Any point of view on this matter is greatly appreciated.

P/S: sometimes it gets very annoying and I have to resort to out the disc so that I can work in peace. Nothing much to complain, but it leaves a large hole allowing more dust to enter.

The drive works fine, I can insert CD and listen audio songs.

It could be the drive, or it could be the connection (motherboard). If you purchased a 3 year warranty, it's easy. Call service. They will probably just send a new drive. If that doesn't fix it, they will probably fix the motherboard

  • Space problems Inspiron 3050

I have Intel Pentium the 3050 stock version, I increased the memory to 8 mg and the only software other than the programs supplied with the unit is Office 2007 and a selfie for the connection. However, I am 778 free MG of 20.4 GB. What gives? That they design this thing to run the Office programs and Internet only? I deleted Office 365 and can not find anything else to get rid of. A run the system diagnostics and followed the rules for deleted excess waste. What can we do? 8.1 using I as a WD Passport Ultra attached more than one SE - 216 Samsung DVD R / w.

Office 2007 can certainly read/write on the SSD of 1 t. You can set preferences to use any drive you want to store the files.  Look in tools > Options > files (at least that is where he is in Office 2003).

You can check to see if free LibreOffice or free OpenOffice take less disk space to Office 2007. They all have two read/write the .doc files that Microsoft Office can open so there is no problem of compatibility. They write in their own custom file formats, you don't have the file is saved as a .doc or .docx if you expect to be opened in MS Office.

I have OpenOffice on a laptop and LibreOffice on another. They work well, although LibreOffice seems to be more active in updating and adding features.

You didn't say what antivirus software you use, but some of them are space hogs so that you could see if Microsoft free Windows Defender (8 Win, Win 10) or Microsoft Security Essentials (Win 7) take less space.
