Tab control - lasts a long time to change between tabs

Hello world

I use a tab control to display a set of results in each tab. So, I have a tab with three legs and each leg consists of 16 indicators that are updated with the values. Now, when I run the program, it takes a long time to switch between these tabs. For example, if I am currently at Page 1 and then I click on Page 2, it takes about 5 seconds to change the tab. I know this must be like that, but I don't understand what is happening.

I need help, please. I know it's a silly question, but I can't make heads or tails of it!

Thank you!

It takes me about one second for the tabs to switch when it is in edit mode.

But I notice that you have grouped with other elements tab control.  Any reason?

When I separated from this group so that the tab control was its own entity, between tabs was much faster.

My current A.E. seems must be reset to zero every day even if it is shows that it works, my devices loose their connection. Rebooting solves the problem for a short period. Hard and soft resets it have done and that does not help.  Now, the yellow light flashes and the utility Airport says that it may be overheating. I just it's time to change brands.

Your Apple router is covered by the Applecare, extended warranty on a computer, ipad, or apple TV.

The program is quite generous... you can buy an apple TV now (Gen3 is fine) and buy on what is cheap apple care. It covers all airport bought up to 2 years earlier. So take your defective AE at the apple store... Buy Apple TV and its applecare... do not open the Apple TV... Get your replaced AE... Then, get a refund on your Apple TV. It's a little sneaky, but only if you don't have applecare...

In the European Union or many other countries... There are in your laws of the consumer that Apple must meet the provisions of warranty... And 14 duration of life is not good enough.

There are many problems with the current series of AE and TC.

Constantly wireless of does not... power outages of power.

My first TC was like yours... not quite DOA, but it was defective out of the box and lasted a week total.

Secondly, one was poor wireless. My oldest Gen5 AE and Gen4 TC have been much faster.

Third go was very well. (At least on this point).

If you want something better watch the top selections here. You will find the AE list... a long long way down.

  • Strange behavior of "RT Get CPU Loads.vi"; first call lasts a very long time!

I spent a considerable time of debugging a new application, after that we decided to migrate to the new architecture. When a more common coding errors where eliminated, the application started running smoothly for short periods before suddenly freezing until the moment where the connection to the target RT has been lost.

I finally understood as a Subvi, which returns the data to the system (use of memory, the cpu load, etc.) lasted if long run than the queue to feed this consumer loop filled with tasks causing eventually the memory fills. I have done some testing of the Subvi separately and noticed that "CPU Get RT Loads.vi" takes forever to run the first time, it is called after a target restart and then quickly runs during subsequent calls.

Is this known behaviour? Other ways to solve this, except 'RT Get CPU Loads.vi' call during initialization?

The VI has an entry "session in? If she uses the system of screw configuration, he may have to create a session on the first call you can do outside of your loop. If not and you have installed system configuration tool, you can try to use the nodes property to get the CPU - in more recent versions of RT, I think that the function you are using is obsolete.

Can you post a snippet of your code / the VI?

  • I need to clean the registry because it has not been done in a long time.

I need to clean the registry because it has not been done in a long time.  I can't find any software cleaner that cleans all teasers just identify errors and clean up maybe 3 things, but you need to buy to do it all.

    What can I do?

Do not.  He didn't need it and even if you deleted 1000 things from him (doubtful) it would make little or no impact on performance.

If you don't understand the registry enough to know what to erase manually or how to add things yourself, etc. - using a tool that almost arbitrarily find the things that are supposed to be orphaned or not necessary and confidence (for some reason any) can lead to a system of death.

If you just * have to * ("it's a moral imperative") and then use that integrated with CCleaner.  I generally recommend not even consider using its registry "cleaning" component - but in the many times I used to analyze and find things and go through them manually before I remove them (at least - I've seen ~ 250 entries, he suggested to get rid of and even in this case, my manual check led me to delete all and there was no adverse) I didn't it go wrong.  If you * MUST * do it, use it and save your changes, so you might be able to roll back.  Before do you all - make sure your backups are in order.

Want generally cleaning XP and maybe actually get a performance gain?

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • dynamic table takes very long time to compile

    Hello

in a small program, I need to create a wide range:

    FIXED-SIZE ARRAY:
    [27] Char hash [26] [999] [99] [16];

But not in all cases, the last item in the hash table has a value (string
15 bytes), so I want to create a dynamic array to save memory.

    TABLE SIZE DYNAMICS:
    char * hashtable [27] [26] [999] [99];
    .......
    If (strlen (hash_string)) hashtable [a] [b] [c] [d] = malloc (sizeof (char) *)
    (strlen (hash_string) + 1)) ;

    .......

    In debug mode:

If I compile the program with the array of fixed size, all working properly and
    the program runs immediately

If I compile the same program with the table dynamically (and using malloc)
It really takes time to compile. It seems that the program freezes,
But if I wait quite a long time (several minutes), the program runs

    I am using CVI 2009

Any ideas why it takes so long if I use dynamic memory?

    Thanks in advance,

    Norbert Rieper
    Bremerhaven

When CVI compiles the file in a configuration of debugging with debugging level value Standard or extended, then we allocate data protection user to track the State of each pointer in the table. For each of the pointer values 69 million that we allocate data to add to your executable file to control execution. These allowances are initially the apparent blow.

There are several ways to prevent CVI to distribute all of these additional data.

    (1) change the level of debugging "no run-time checking.

    (2) change the base type of the array of ' char *' to 'size_t '. You must also add a cast to all the references to the elements of the array.

    (3) select it's Enable. Obj option' option for the file that contains the definition of the table. This turns off debugging for this .c file.

3 (b) move the declaration of the array to its own .c file and the option "Enable.obj" what .c file instead of the .c file that contains all the source data that uses the table.

Although you need only 70 MB for dynamically allocated strings, you must always 265 MB to store the array of pointers to 69 million.

  • Vista has stopped turning the games run for a long time.

Vista has stopped turning the games run for a long time. The display would go crazy and the sytem would lock. Gotta make a stop with the power button. No errors are recorded. I re-installed the game. Same thing. I reinstalled Vista 64. Same thing. I get about 3 minutes in the game and then locking the. 1 single game still work (BioShock2). COD - MW2 and COD MW lock the sytem. One is direct install, and the other is the steam. I have a video card Nvidia GTX 280 with the latest drivers from Microsoft. Before the reinstall, I tried to install the most recent NVIDIA. Did not help. Yet the locks without showing error. About half of the time it stops at my off video card a few seconds after that the display goes crazy. BioShock uses DirectX 10, and others use DirectX 11. I read on some sites that 11 causes the video crashes on some systems. I want to know is why 11 is working for so long and stop NOW. Is there a way to make the games all run on 10? COD BlackOPS crashes too. I played ALL these games over and over again until the last 3 weeks. If there was some error to post logs I would but there is not. Any suggestions on where to find some kind of problem that could cause this? The video card was removed, cleaned and put back into the computer. Still crashes. 1 in 4 of the games will take place without any problems. 3 will be blocking of the computer and the video trash in 3 minutes or less to start the game. The video is great, until blocking.

Suggestions on how to fix or where to additional troubleshooting for the cause will be greatly appreciated.

  • Devices and printers takes a long time to open

In Windows 7, the devices and printers open almost instantly. In Windows 8 Pro x 64, devices and printers takes almost 30 seconds to open, and it takes a long time whenever I open it. How can I shorten the time required for the devices and printers to open?

Before you answer, please note the following:
    • I don't get an error message when I open devices and printers.
    • I have not made any recent hardware or software changes to the computer.
    • I experience the same behavior when Windows 8 starting in a boot environment.

    My problem is solved.

Instead of wasting time on generic solutions, I should look for a specific cause from the start. In my case, the problem was with my scanner. In devices and printers, I open my scanner and selected properties of analysis. On the events under Actions tab, Windows had chosen to 'Interrogate what program to run.' I changed it to "Start this program" and choose my scanner software in the drop-down list.
Devices and printers now opens almost instantly.
  • BluRay exports take a LONG time to import in CS6 again and they require a re-transcoding?

So I posted this in the forum yet, but just in case it is better/more addressed here fast I thought I want to transfer...

Before the update of the Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro 8.2, I was able to import files Bluray in CS6 again with ease. I had to use the workaround where I remove a line of code in the xmpses file to get the chapters appear in still. Now, after the update I can import files that have been exported since the new Premiere Pro and SOUL but that the import process requires SO long. Still displays the box to import as "Not responding" and I just sit and wait outside which can take several minutes for longer videos. The line code that you have to remove the previous version is still there, but this time this deletion it has no effect on import. No error no message to be unlike the last version. It hangs just for a long time with bluray more long/more large files. I can import Bluray files created from previous versions of first/SOUL (before the last 8.2 update) and imports are almost immediate. So what is up with newly exported?  Any help?

In addition, imported files are listed as "Automatic" in the column of transcode even if they are already H264 Bluray files. And when I click on it and select "do not transcode" it will not change. He remains as automatic. What is going on?

    He finds!

If you set PROFILE in the video settings exported to HAND rather than high, it now lags behind when importing comes in and requires a re-transcoding (I'm guessing it's a bug with SOUL 8.2). Can't remember why I chose once to make my preset with the MAIN profile a few years ago, but I guess now I'll use the high profile.

  • Video takes a LONG time

Howdy, everyone. I am currently shopping around for a video editing application, and I'm using the trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements. I love everything about it so far, except for one thing. It takes a long time to save the final video file (from the tab share). I noticed he gets to 50% fairly quickly, probably within five minutes and at that time there the progress bar slows down to a crawl. It takes more than two hours for the last 50% complete. Is this rare or should I wait?

Here's a little history of my project, in case this is useful.

The video project is a little less than 30 minutes.

On the sharing tab, I selected to export files for viewing on computers.

The type of video I want is WMV (Windows Media). I can vary from this format. It is a requirement of the project.

Image size: 1024 x 768. At the moment I can't vary that size. The video must be 1024 x 768.

    Frame rate: 30 fps

Audio: mono 48 kbps, 44 kHz, CBR

    Codec: Windows Media 9

    Encoding Passes: 1

Bitrate Mode: Constant (I also tried of Variable quality, but noticed no difference in time rendering)

Maximum flow: 200 Kbps (the first time I tried 2 000 kbit/s, but I noticed no difference in time rendering)

Image quality: 3 (I also tried 90 but once again without any perceptible difference when rendering time)

    My laptop:

    Windows XP Pro SP3

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz

    2 GB of RAM

The window says that I would wait the video size to be 53MB in size, which seems reasonable. But when it finishes, it is more than ten times greater than this estimate. I don't understand why the file size is so big and the render time is so long.

My rendering time is governed or strangled because I am using a trial version of Premiere Elements?

If this is not the case, what suggestions you all for me? Am I be unreasonable while waiting for my render times to be faster than the duration of the video?

Thanks in advance for your help. Please let me know if I can provide any other details.

WMV is a highly compressed format/CODEC, and the duration of the treatment will depend on several factors:

Your CPU, which is not as powerful in your case

Your auxiliary I/o system, which is probably a single HDD on your laptop

The source footage. What is your source footage?

No effect added to the images. You have all the effects?

Each of them will have an impact on the time required.

The trial is that a single main limitation - watermark. Now, there are some components that need to be triggered, but are not tested, but they would not obvious with the import of your source footage, if it is a question.

    Good luck
