  Reading or writing PDF is not available in the decorative frame because it is difficult to use pdf format for multiple purposes, other than reports

  and excel is easily readable by a program and can be directly used in many systems (analysis of data)

• Automatically update the column in the table in OBIEE

  Hi people,
  
  I have a requirement to say I need to update a column of table based on a condition, but this update should happen on a daily basis (I mean that it would be held once per day) by checking if all the records in this column meets the condition then update
  
  example:-column = 'pending', then using the "approved". As records of transactions every day in the table lights. OBIEE should check and update the line so the next time it does not show this line as "pending".
  
  I thought of 2 approaches to this
  (1) through the write-back, it is possible to update but manually (the question is it can't be automated or on demand on daily basis and update multiple records on a go)
  (2) write a stored procedure or a function of update, but how can I perform this procedure either regular or run once daily.how to use it?
  
  Any thoughts on the above two points or any method you can think off the coast.

  This shud be easy...
  -Create a direct database... with the Update statement
  for example: Update table set col = "Approved" where col = 'pending '.
  -Create an ibot using the RFI above and plan on a daily basis.

  This will update the complete table with the new value on a daily basis based on the State

  There are 2 tables tableA and tableB where the join condition is (tableA.col1 = tableB.col1) or (tableA.col1 is null and tableB.col1 is null)
  where can I do this type of join.
  I tried to put in the physical layer-> f (x), but in error as only columns CIHI a d opertaors are allowed.

  To format a single column, go to the properties of the column and change it as a percentage.

• How do you get the text in the top line of the table to stop forcing text format the same way in the row below.

  I created a table with two rows. I would like the text in the top line is centered and the text in the line below that is aligned to the left. I have no problem when no list (chips) are involved. However, this week, the client has a list of items that have bullets.

  This logical dimension has columns from 2 different physical tables, TableA and TableB. The relationship between TableA to TableB is 1 to zero.
  
  There are 2 ways to create the logical dimension:--
  1) go to the properties of logical TableA table-> then source it + sign click and then add the right outer join TableB, tableA with.
  We see here a tableA table in the logical table source.
  (2) so that we have 2 logical table source, drag the column tableB.
  
  Please try to explain without using the concept of fragmentation and without taking into account the fact tables. I have a question for the simple logical dimension only tables.

  What you need to do is to go in your analysis (report) and the Compound Layout, display only the title and Pivot Table. The compound in default mode with the view on the Table. Click on the Red to get rid of this and add 'x' view > table crossed to get the pivot table view.

  Then in your dashboard, have the section pointing compound mode (default setting).

  FrameMaker 10.0.2.419 on a Windows XP computer running (I know). I created a structured application to take our structured files (made with a custom DSP), rules of reading/writing process for charts, tables, etc., and then perform an XSLT transformation to convert the XHTML source tree. Everything works well except for the table cells that overlap.

  I have the following rules of R/W in place:

  I tried to see the output of the frame before you apply the XSLT and the colspan and rowspan attributes do not appear. Our custom EDD has no specific attributes colspan and rowspan, but I add the TableCell element in the DTD.

  Is there anyway to get the colspan and rowspan attribute to appear in the tree of results (with the correct values for the cells in a table overlapping)?

  That's what I have in my read/write rules:

  The only difference I see between my r/w and yours is that you renamed the TableCell cell element in your document frame of td in the XML output. Thus, your code output XML (before applying the XSLT), overlap attributes must appear in the form of elements td, not the TableCell elements.

  Because you apply an XSLT transformation to get the XHTML, you cannot rename the cell element. Just keep TableCell, which will have the attributes of overlap. Then the XSLT can transform into a td element.

  I have a large site that has been created in GoLive. Pages made a wide use arrays because of the way GoLive worked its wysiwyg page layouts.
  
  I'm not a programmer, but I didn't know how to create decent pages looking for that way. Now, I have DW and want to make changes to pages. Now these pages all look at them as tables and I cannot drag and drop to move things.
  
  Is there some way in DW to change all these tables in a form where I can the easily manipulated? I'm learning just about CSS. Is this the way forward?
  
  Of course all the new pages I create with CSS, but I still need to work with a lot of these older pages.

  It is (or was) built in the tables to convert to the Apdivs function, but better to stay away from that, which seems to just invite a world of pain.

• Table headers disappearing in pdf format?

  Why some table headers disappear when I have pdf file a 8 Frame? There is no trend in disappearances and whenever I have the pdf file, a different cell header disappears. If I create a text box and paste this box on the title, it shows well in the pdf, but it's a stupid way of working. What all began last month, after I changed computers. Thanks for the help!

  not only the dates Oracle occupy only 7 bytes, but using DATES give some benefits, like:

  -verification of the data: the system will not accept things like '44-JAN-2014' or 15 months,...

  -date arithmetic: it's so easy and convenient to be able to do things like "date2 - date1", or "date 1 + x days!"

  -l' effectiveness of the index: when stored as dates, Oracle knows that there's only one second between 27-APR-2014 23:59:59 and 28 April 2014 00:00:00, but if it is stored as strings or numbers, for example there is a bigger difference between 20140331235959 and 20140401000000 and between 20140331010203 and 20140331195959. This may mislead the optimizer...

  But in any case if for any reason any bad you persist in the idea of storing dates as numbers or strings, be sure to keep the items in the order YYYY MM DD HH24 MI SS; at least the order is respected. With the help of MMDDYYYY would be really sad!

  And on the addition of certain "quality check" If you use for example a 8 string ((aucune heure min sec)): this can be achieved with a constraint, as for example
