Tables of time in Internet Explorer

Hey guys, I'm new here and still a bit a noob when it comes to html and web design so easy on me.

One of my new projects is creditcardrewardzone.com, I thought I was pretty well until someone told me that it was completely screwed upward when they looked in Internet Explorer on their windows machine.

I work on a mac and check it with safari, firefox and IE and everything seems fine, but for some reason any in Internet Explorer on windows, the tables run very long to the point where the site is not functional.

If you go to the website and click on payment cards, you can see what I mean. Can anyone look at my code and see if there is something I am doing wrong?

Thank you very much, I look forward to stay at the forum and probably ask questions much more!

Josh

I do not see the information on this page:
http://www.creditcardrewardzone.com/CashRewardCards.html
in IE6.

Try to use a type of full document - at the moment, you do not use one - which is
the placement of IE6 in quirks... mode that may solve your problem.

I would also consider adding some left padding (next to your content area
the bar on the left to the right) because the text is sitting to the right upwards
against the sidebar in all browsers, I checked.

This should work:

  • Re: Border color of table showing incorrectly in Internet Explorer

    I use CS5.5 and I have tables with red edges. Everything appears perfectly in Firefox; but in IE V.10 are all the borders of the black table. I use the following code for the table border style:

    . TableRedBorder5

    {

    border: 5px solid #FF0000;

    }

    I'm doing something wrong. or is the problem in Internet Explorer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, but I finally found the problem. I'll have to use CSS styles to set the color of the table border instead of using the html code. Thanks for your willingness to help though!

    We check with lan connected desktop and it works very well here and we are facing this problem with laptops.

    The desktop computer is 32 bit win 7.

    Question: You load the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer on first launch?  If you are then it's your problem.  Plugin PDF is not 64-bit capable, so the solution would be to launch the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.

    Hello
    I made a Web site in DW (MX 2004 Mac 10.4) which seems just what is s'posed to on Safari, IE5, Firefox and the browser, but in IE7 differences appear between some of the cells of the table, giving it a broken appearance. Now, because of the rounded the table consists of a number of images and colored cells. Does anyone have an idea on what I could do to remedy this?

    Here's the code for the table and the link to the page:

  • width of table breath leaves in Internet Explorer for PC

    This page looks just dandy in Firefox and Safari, but when I check it in IE (several versions via Browsershots), my table is horrible. Any suggestions? I put the text in a nested to corral the text table, but it does not always display correctly. Help!

    The rowspans seems to be the problem. Some of your rows in the table have one single cell, others more. Do any of the single cell rows. If a line needs 5 cells, then embed a table in the same row, which consists of 5 elements and just one line. By doing this, you can avoid the use of rowspans.

  • Time not appearing does not, in MapViewer with Internet Explore (Reposted)

    (I posted this question once before, but I think he had a few problems caused by the div tag in the HTML code I included.) The div 'map' did not appear in the sent message and some other links on the page did not work, perhaps because of my rogue "div". I used markup codes in the hope that these problems don't exist this time. I apologize.)

    I use MapViewer 10133p 5 and having troubles placing times in Internet Explorer (IE code that seems to work in Firefox very well fail in Internet Explorer). I reduced my HTML to which, in my view, are the essential and pasted its contents below.

    In the Firefox browser, anywhere, anytime, I click on the card that I see an alert indicating the coordinates where I clicked, then a FAITH (with a picture on it) is placed on the card. Finally, I see another alert letting me know that the FAITH was placed. In IE7, I see alerts, but I never see FAITH. Finally, from what I can tell, the Server WebLogic which is at the service of the MapViewer app receives a request, whenever I have this in Firefox, but sees not a request come through when I do it in Internet Explorer.

    IE gives me no indication that something is wrong, and since the final warning (see below) goes off, I have to assume that the execution of the script is not a failure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    This is a bug of oracle cards. The solution is to add the image as a marker faith separated.

    pointClicked = MVSdoGeometry.createPoint (mouseLocationX, mouseLocationY, 8307);
    pointClickedFOI = new MVFOI ("ID:" + (FOICount +), pointClicked, 'MY.) STYLE.NAME");

  • If you use Firefox, my financial website continues to check in every time my computer but in Internet Explorer, it does not work. How can I fix?

    To verify my identity, my financial website send me a code to enter when I try to log in the site. This happens with a new computer or if I change browsers. When I use Internet Explorer, I'll do it this time and the site recognizes me for each later in log. With Firefox, I have to ask a code each time to verify who I am and it's frustrating. I don't know why the site don't remember my computer under Firefox, but it will be under Internet Explorer. Firefox is also one of the browsers recommended by the financial institution. I'm guessing there is something in Firefox that I change a lot to avoid this problem, but I don't have any idea.

    You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:

    • Click the address bar onthe Site identity button"(globe/lock)

    • Go to the permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

    If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.

    • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  • How can I get Firefox to take back me to the last folder of bookmarks, I was in like Internet Explorer instead of back to the beginning each time?

    When I find a Web site by using bookmarks in Firefox and then I want to look like another site in that same case, especially in a subfolder, Firefox brings back me at the beginning of the bookmarks menu. With Internet Explorer, it takes back me to the same folder or subfolder in that I was. For example, if I wanted to pick up newspapers, especially if they are in subfolders, I want to stay in the same place. Firefox loses this place, unlike Internet Explorer and brings back me at the beginning every time. Sometimes, I have several layers of subfolders and it takes time to find this place each time.

    One possibility is to open the bookmarks bar.
    Click the list next to the star icon on the Navigation toolbar, and then click "View Bookmarks Sidebar" (Ctrl + B).

  • Super High speed internet Time Warner installed (50mbps) but foxfire operating only at 1.35Mbps, while the internet Explorer works fine

    Internet (50mbps) Time Warner installed high-speed yesterday on my computer, but when the guy left I noticed that the speed was very slow. SIS one test on speedtest.net and found I was getting a maximum of 1.35mbps (sometimes as low as .62mbps). So I had them come back and they tried all kinds of things, only to discover Internet Explorer gets 50mbps, so it's something with Foxfire. What would it be?

    Hello, when you use speedtest.net or a similar site based on flash to measure your connection speed, it could be a problem with the protected mode that adobe has implemented for its flash plugin for firefox. Some older versions of f-secure or report of trusteer are known to cause slowdowns with flash, or it could be something similar on your system that interferes (maybe security software that block/sandbox the container used for protected mode, etc...).

    as a solution, you could try downgrading of 10.3 flash (which is always supported) or Disable protected mode & see if that makes a difference.

    How to open 2 e-mail accounts Yahoo separate at the same time, without using an add-on or plug-in? I can do this in Internet Explorer by clicking file | New Session. I don't see how to do this in Firefox.

    You need two independent sets of cookies to achieve and that an extension can do this.

    You can get a second series temporarily passing to private browsing mode and open the current session, but still allows you the same account only one way at the time and you have to identify you again after returning to the first account by stopping mode PB.
