Tactile Envy 15: Keyboard too sensitive - double substitution

My keyboard sometimes double hit sometimmess key while type II causes me to be too careful where I can miss a ltter and does not register at all. It is inefficient to type for exxtremely jobs. I just started a job of American Government in the Japan and need to send a lot of emails. How can I fix it. It's extremely annoying havig to go back and fix almoost every word.

I have tried the solution "to the long period of keyboard" on the link you. This can be ffound after typing 'Keyboard Setttings' in the search after hitting the Windows key. It seems to work and I just I remember to come back to normal and a bit more difficult, typing keys. Thank you!!

  • M6-1035dx Pavilion: Pavilion m6-1035dx touchpad y axis too sensitive after upgrade Windows 10

I installed my m6-1035dx Pavilion at 10 Windows laptop. Everything seems to work pretty well, except the touchpad. The Synaptics 10 Windows driver is much too sensitive along the y-axis (vertical movement), but it is very well along the x-axis (horizontal movement). If I try to move my cursor in a circle, I get an ellipse instead, and this disparity makes it very difficult to use touchpad. Sensitivity adjustment does not help, because it scales sensitivity times X and Y at the same time.

I tried these different drivers with varying results:

    1. latest Synaptics touchpad driver for Windows 10 (version 19.0.19.1): Y axis is too sensitive with respect to X axis. Otherwise, this driver seems to work perfectly.

2 no driver (Windows using the generic PS/2 mouse driver): X / axes are correct, but no other feature of the trackpad works (scrolling, etc..)

3 last Synaptics touchpad driver driver from HP for Pavilion m6-1035dx (version 16.0.5.1) page: X / axes are correct, but scrolling does not work in many applications. This driver does not officially support Windows 10 (I think that it supports up to 7), but it seems to work correctly in Windows 10, aside from the problems with scrolling.

I would point out to Synaptics, but they do not seem to support (as far as I can tell), so I'm posting here in the hope that someone would have an idea of what I can try next. There may be a hidden registry setting that I can change?

    Hello @mrbumpy409,

    Thanks for the reply.

I also looked in the registry, I couldn't find anything that jumped. I speculated with the values of height and width of the corner, but change does not seem to do anything.

I have no information on the release of driver, but you can try the driver compatible windows 8 rather than windows 7 one.

  • My slider controls when using Excel and Publisher became too sensitive

My slider controls when using Excel and Publisher have become too sensitive and more often, don't do what it is that I'm willing to do.  For example: while in Publisher if I click on a photo, that I've inserted, and try to move it, it will automatically open the Format Picture option.  She does it with a number of other features as well.  If I'm in Excel and I'm trying to highlight a phrase, it will begin to highlight the requested sentence, then the middle of it will stop after the sense that I'm going with my cursor and it will pass at the end of the sentence.  I guess you could say this kind of "jump" and the mouse became too sensitive with the controls.  It's really frustrating and it feels like it has a mind of its own.  At first, I thought maybe a low battery mouse, because she was the way she does when the battery is dying.  Changed the battery and no change.  I also tried to set my mouse speed and still nothing.

    Any ideas?

Oh and btw this just started to happen during the first 4 to 6 months.

    Hi H.Morton,

    1. the problem occurs with excel and publisher?
    2. what operating system do you use?
    3. did you uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers?
    4. have you tried with another mouse and check?
    5. do the mouse has a selection of sensitivity on the mouse itself?

I suggest you to update the mouse drivers and see if that helps.

    Hello

I'm sorry to say I think it's already too late! If our BlackBerry never am wet then we shouldn't try to turn to see if it works. Must immediately remove the battery and also SIM media card. We should put in a bag of uncooked rice that absorb moisture. Should allow for at least 3 to 4 days unless we are sure that the moisture has been absorbed completely. Then we need to put our BlackBerry over entire surface of output as stabilizing heat, or in the dashboard of a car on a sunny day. Before inserting the battery, we should be sure that it is completely dry.

When moisture or any substance liquid in our BlackBerry it starts corrosion which leads to the problem like quick battery drainage, by typing problem and many more. You the current problem appears to be for this reason!

Now, you can visit your Internet access provider to any repair store to see what they can offer.

    Good luck.

It's not important, I wondered? Thank you, KC973

    Hi KC973,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

You will not be able to add a wireless keyboard to a 'double Receiver USB' for a wireless mouse. To use the wireless keyboard, you can use the receiver that came with the key board and the receiver double USB mouse will not recognize the wireless keyboard.

  • 9.2 IOS (problem of tactile 3D on keyboard)

My favorite 3D tactile feature is the ability of force - press on the keyboard and use a slider as a mouse to maneuver through text. A that someone has noticed a slight change in performance since the 9.2 update? It's a characteristic that has worked 100% of the time in all scenarios and was a pair of jeans. IM now facing 60% accurate was being detected and then run. It's definitely a software problem as this seems to happen when I go to move the cursor, the second time or when I'm behind a full word. I have not changed anything in my kerboard environments and use a third party either. Also, I have not changed parameters of 3D tactile sensitivity.

    Thank you very much

    Kingsley

    I have a similar problem.

I remember in iOS 9.1 only as long as it a cursor on the screen, I could press hard and take control of the trackpad.

Less 9.2 I either put my finger down for a second and then start pressing on, or type in the text box I am typing in and then try pressing.

It's frustrating because it is difficult to calculate the time required before pressing on which means that I'm often left strong pressure without result. Is not intuitive as if it were before.

  • Magic Trackpad 2 very good, but too sensitive?

    Hello

I just magic keyboard and trackpad, second version two, to use with my mid-2015 15 "MBP 2.8. I am very happy with them, but I was wondering if there is a way to reduce the sensitivity of the magic trackpad. I fly over for a second something it opens, or verified, or...

I checked Sys Prefs, didn't really see something but perhaps to that I don't know what I'm looking for.

Any ideas to make it less sensitive?

    The best

    Elmer

    Hello Elmerlang,

Have you looked at this?   Go to the Apple logo (upper-left) > System Preferences > Trackpad.   At the top are three options.  Choose to point and click.

Then you can play with the click (beginning in middle), then follow-up speed (about three places from the left).

And that still leaves room to go to less sensitive.

    Good luck.
