Tag format XML (data)

Hello

y at - it a utility or an editor, that can format XML data automatically.

in fact, I understand the hierarchy of xml data, for this I need manually align the xml tag.

See the following link, it can help you.

  • How to check the first < TAG > (* i.e. 1 node) of some XML data

    Hi all

    I have a Flash program (* in Actionscript 3) where I get XML data using XMLSocket.

    I know how to access the different values with the knots and stuff like that, but I'm checking what the very 1st is < TAG >.

    For example, I send to the program of the XML data. The XML data is 90% of the time a way and then after a while it will receive

    Differently formatted XML data.

    Here's what it looks like 90% of the time:

    < FRAME >

    < VAR MESSAGE =«...» " TEXT =«...» » / >

                   < VAR MESSAGE =«...» " TEXT =«...» » / >

                   < VAR MESSAGE =«...» " TEXT =«...» » / >

    <... etc... / >

    < / FRAMEWORK >

    #########################################################

    #########################################################

    And the rest looks like at:

    < TICKER >

    < VAR="...."  TEXT="...." />

                   < VAR="...."  TEXT="...." />

                   < VAR="...."  TEXT="...." />
    <... etc... / >

    < / TICKER >

    So what I try to do, is when I get the XML data, I want to check the 'node' very 1st data (* what is in bold above < SETTING > - and - < TICKER >).

    I know how to get the specific/children items and their values, but I couldn't understand this.

    So for, the node element/3rd of 1 such that I would have:

    function dataHandler(e:_DataEvent):void

    {

    var XML = XML (e.data);

    It would give me the 3rd node of the < FRAME > data XML...

    var nodeThree:String is xml. MESSAGE[2].@TEXT;

    }

    I read on the property of 'parentNode' of the XMLNode class, but I could not understand if that's what I had to use...

    Anyone know how I can check if FIRST data node is < TICKER > or < FRAME >... ??

    Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    You can use the methods of strings:

    function dataHandler(e:_DataEvent):void

    {

    var XML = XML (e.data);

    var s:String = xml.toString ();

    {if (s.substr (0, s.IndexOf(">")).)} {(IndexOf ("frame") >-1)}

    No matter what

    } else {}

    else to do

    }

    }

  • Can I create an XSD from XML data into a CLOB?

    Environment:

    Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE on Solaris.

    Highly an XML newbie so please be nice!

    I spent the past few days pouring through the documentation and various articles, including this one, but... I need help.

    I am trying to extract XML data stored in a CLOB and produce a flat file for the user's consumption.

    They sent me what they think is the XSD for XML data, but when I look at the data in the CLOB I don't see tags in the XSD.

    I would like to produce a XSD based on real data to compare with what they sent.

    Is this possible?

    I am able to query XML data using the tags that I see in data using XMLTable and it works fine.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    -gary

    Welcome to the side of the world, where you're going to love it and curse, like any other piece of XML technology.

    So if I understand correctly, the scope of your operation is to extract information from an XML file and then write this information to the disk, correct?

    A few questions

    -Why did the XML stored in a CLOB instead of an XMLType column?  Without knowing the history of the system, it is a pertinent question.

    -What size are the XML?  I ask this question, it is because when the XML is stored in the columns of XMLType (relational structure object or XML BINARY SECUREFILE format), then Oracle can parse the XML much more easily when it is stored as a CLOB.  If the XML is small enough, you can see no difference in performance between the two.

    The Oracle DB itself has no built in the ability to generate a schema from an XML file.  To do this, you need to use a third-party tool that has this feature in.  For example, XML Spy can do.  Other tools as well, but that's what comes to mind first is what I use.  The only thing to remember is that the scheme he built is only an XML instance.  Other XML instances can be different and not valid against the schema you generated, but still valid against the original schema unknown.

    You can save the schema in the database and then use the XML to create an XMLType instance related to the schema and then validate the XML in this way.  An example XML DB FAQ and here's another one Re: validation of XML schema

    Hope that helps you continue.

    Right now, I'm just trying to extract the first 3 fields, BizDt, Bal and id I use to analyze the following:

    SELECT
    Extract (value (p), '/BizDt') .getStringVal () AS DATE_,.
    Extract (value (p), ' /Instrmt/Sym').getStringVal (AS SYMBOL),)
    Extract (value (p), ' /Instrmt/ID').getStringVal () AS ID_)

    OF s TABLE_NAME.
    TABLE (XMLSEQUENCE (Extract (xmlType.createXml (s.CDS_CLOB), ' FIXML/batch/MktDataFull / *'))) p
    WHERE s.ID_ = 1

    But I get nothing back. My guess is the because the XML data does not have opening tags and formal closing, because if I change my XML like this:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < FIXML > < batch > < MktDataFull > < BizDt > 2012 - 07 - 13 < / BizDt > < Instrmt > < Sym > JCPRXU < / Sym > < ID > JCPRXU < /ID > < Desc > JCP.SR. XR. USD < / Desc > < SecTyp > CD < / SecTyp > < / Instrmt > < / MktDataFull > < / batch > < / FIXML >

    I was able to get the data. Therefore, in order so solve this problem, what should I do with my original XML? Can I format the tags?

    Thank you

    When you nest xsl: for each of the elements, the select expression is evaluated in the context of the enclosing instance.

    Consider this:

    This means you are trying to match items complete as children Instrmt, that is not correct, because they are actually siblings.
    In the same goes for HELP, Evnt etc.

    I don't know what kind of structure you want.
    Caps all does not much sense given that groups of brothers of repeat items that have no apparent correlation between them. Essentially, you end up with a big Cartesian product.

    I would approach this by storing repeated elements in different tables with a parent/child relationship to preserve the hierarchical nature of the data (if necessary).

  • How can I embed XML data in a PDF file?

    I want to embed XML data in a PDF file if the file can be scanned for data behind the document. Is there a standard way to do this?

    For example, if the PDF file is a bank statement, the embedded XML would be his number and bank account balances. He would not understand the standard text in the statement such as the name of the Bank, etc.

    I read about the XMP specification, but this seems to be more than the document metadata (title, subject, etc.). And it contained are tagged but it's a different view of the entire document.

    ??? -Thanks - dave

    Although the XMP block are stored in XML format, you can just embed any XML file. The block must follow the standard, which means that each data packet must be defined in a schema - as the name suggests, XMP is extensible, you can set the new scheme for local use, but you can't mess with standard seals and add random new tags. The schema itself is not embedded in the file, it is referenced by a unique ID number and URI. of course have a lot of data in a custom schema does not mean that any software will see it - advanced search of Acrobat can be said to sweep the XMP block, but the search engines only tend to bother with tags such as "title" and "description".

    To see what is currently in a PDF file, open Document properties > Description > additional metadata > advanced.

    You can save the current XMP block in a text (.xmp extension) file and replace/add other files XMP. If you click on the 'i' icon in the upper right corner of the Advanced dialog box, you can access the system profiles - these can be created in other applications such as the bridge, but there is no Manager profile in Acrobat itself.

    For more technical information on the use of XMP and creating new schema, see http://www.adobe.com/devnet/xmp.html

    Note that the XMP SDK for CS6 does not work in the Acrobat family.

  • How do I check the particluar string in the xml data

    Dear oracle Experts.
    I'm using the following oracle database.

    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi

    CORE 10.2.0.4.0 Production
    AMT for Linux: release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production

    I have a following xml data...
    p_msg_in CLOB: =.
    < DATA >
    < FLD FNR = DTE = '26 SEP 12' "ZZ0584" SRC = "DXB" OF the "DAC" = / >
    < AAA LBP = ETK '22334455' = ' 1234567/4' ACT = "123" / >
    < AAA LBP = ETK "223344" = "2345678/1" / >
    < AAA LBP = ETK "223344" = ' 1/123456' ACT = "345" / >
    < / DATA >

    then im go get the header like this information...

    v_msg_xml: = xmltype (p_msg_in);

    I'm IN multicur (v_msg_xml, ' / DATA/FLD ') LOOP
    V_1: = i.xml.extract('//@FNR').getstringval ();
    v_4: = to_date(i.xml.extract('//@DTE').getstringval(),'DDMONYY');
    v_5: = i.xml.extract('//@SRC').getstringval ();
    v_6: = i.xml.extract('//@DES').getstringval ();
    END LOOP;

    After that, I need all the real records one by one, use it for a loop in a loop. Here for each iteration, I should check that a string of characters (for example law) is there or not. in the example above, 1.3 records have value of law in it. Well, I need to check something like that. If instr ("< AAA LBP = ETK"223344 "=" 123456/1 "ACT =" 345 "/ > ',' law") > 0 before performing the step below.
    How to get there.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thank you.
    C IN multicur (v_msg_xml, ' / DATA/AAA ') LOOP
    v_7: = c.xml.extract('//@LBP').getstringval ();
    v_8: = c.xml.extract('//@ETK').getstringval ();

    If I understood corrrectly you must give the LBP and values ETK tags AAA who attribute the Act. If so, all you need is:

    declare
        p_msg_in CLOB :=
    '

    ';
        v_msg_xml xmltype;
        cursor v_cur
          is
            select  lbp,
                    etk
              from  xmltable(
                             '/DATA/AAA[@ACT]'
                             passing v_msg_xml
                             columns
                               lbp varchar2(10) path '@LBP',
                               etk varchar2(10) path '@ETK'
                            );
    begin
        v_msg_xml := xmltype(p_msg_in);
        for v_rec in v_cur loop
          dbms_output.put_line('LBP = "' || v_rec.lbp || '" ETK = "' || v_rec.etk || '"');
        end loop;
    end;

    I don't see any XML in what you posted. In any case:

    "2010 12-15 T 12: 57:19'.

    is a string, not a date. Use:

    to_date('2010-12-15T12:57:19','YYYY-mm-dd"T"HH24:mi:SS')

    For example:

    SQL> create table tbl(created date);

  • Is there a way to access the HTML data as you can do with XML data?

    I am new to AS3 and I'm trying to figure out how to access HTML as you can with the XML data?

    HTML isn't XML, nor is the DOM supported as JavaScript does, so you'll have to go with the typical string operations. If it's on a website, you can use JavaScript to make the analysis of DOM for you in HTML via AJAX loading and working back and forth between JS<->As.

    Otherwise the Interior HAVE only, Regular Expressions are most useful for this. The HTML code in a viable XML structure analysis may be possible when it is not applying the same syntax rules it and is of a dynamic nature. For example, it is perfectly valid to put the content in a page that is not nested inside a tag, for example

    some paragraph

    Some text let only locked in the body. You need detect possible syntactic questions and manage all of them. Channel ops are much easier.

    Any specific markup? you have trouble to detect/work?

  • R12 payment process Request Status Report add additional columns to the XML data.

    In 11i, we had modified the preliminary report of payment to include additional columns (distributions of invoice). I can't edit the template for the output XML to the report has not

    For the disbursement of funds (payment instructions file) process, Oracle provides extensibility IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB package to build the custom XML element structure that can be added to the extracted XML payment generated by the Oracle payments. Do we have something similar to this report? Are there other options available?

    Thank you

    Hello

    The same "IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB" package also works for the payment request process status report. Please add the logic to get the distribution data in this package, and you'll see the new XML tags in this report also.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    You have names of entities I think very unfortunate for the automatic conversion:

    -They contains dowry, which is not permitted for the actionscript variable names (but will work when even when running - but do not expect to be able to use the dot in the code when you name something)

    -There are names of different elements (nodes) for taking into account the level

    Here is the solution, you can try:

    Grid:

    and code:

    protected function labelFunction(item:Object, column:DataGridColumn):String
    {
         var node:XML = item as XML;
         var value:String = node.child(0);
         return value;
    }

    I think that there is something deep in the code of mx.* for automatic conversion which fails to correctly translate your entity names in the object property names when assigned to an instance of data provider - but I think that above would work (you must re - design your xml although I think).

    Kind regards

  • DSC with XML data type

    Hello

    Can someone explain to me what the difference is between the xml data type and the type of Document data in workbench? I would use the xml datatype in my DSC thinking that it's probably the best representation of an xml string. But I heard that the Document is more widely used and it can represent an entity xml as well. Is this good?

    My ultimate goal is to write a DSC and use a type representing an xml string. I would like that the component.xml of the type for my input variables automatically be typed 'xml' or 'document' (whatever that I should use).

    I tried to create variables of both types ("xml" and "document", lowercase d) and those who have passed in my DSC for inspection. The object passed are as follows:

    XML: org.apache.xerces.dom.DocumentImpl

    Document: com.adobe.idp.Document

    But if I use one of these in my component.xml workbench is to type my variables as 'DocumentImpl' or 'Document '.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    NIC

    Yes. I am it would be showing the xml for the variable type, but it shows Document in both cases. But they are different. One is an org.w3c.dom.Document and the other is a com.adobe.idp.Document.

    So I guess, try to use a title for this setting that reflects the nature of the variable you are trying to use.

    Also, you can use the tag to put a little more explanation on the type of variable you want to use.

    etc.

    the following lines in actionscript work perfectly for the table:

    resultxml = event.result.getViewResult.DocumentElement.ColumnChart as XMLList

    chart data provider

    _chartDP = new XMLListCollection (resultxml);

    The last argument of Colum graphic in DocumentElement.ColumnChart will change. I want to make this variable instead.

    I tried DocumentElement +'. ' + this. [ColumnChart] but I get an error telling me that the property does not exist.

    The following almost works:

    event.result.getViewWithTitlesResult.DocumentElement. *.

    but my card has a series of additional data empty.

    How can I adjust the latter to a variable?

    If the data that currently say you XMLList has a single point, just cast to XML with XML (myXMLLIST) or "myXMLLIST in Xml format.

  • Access to the XML data file

    OK, I need a quick lesson on the access of different tags in an xml file and display them. I have a rather messy xml generated dynamically and the structure cannot be modified due to an Excel application that is already there access.

    Any help would be great, because I'm stuck.

    After digging a little and a few cups of coffee, I managed to shoot some extraction of an XML data in a datagrid control. I can access attributes, node values, etc...

    One thing I noticed, is that you need to refresh the application if you have constantly updated dynamic data up-to-date. So here is some code to help some of you on:

    First some XML (index.xml) examples:

  • Web Service SOAP returned XML data are unreadable

    Hello

    I hope someone with some experience of SOAP could help me find a solution for which XML data coming out of a Web Service (SAP production) are illegible.

    In the attached file is the Web Service response, and as you can see in the header of the request is OK. (request to pass a serialized PCB of a 'tail' to 'work'). Request is successful (I manually check by directly connecting the SAP web service and check), but also the data on the printed circuit should be returned (edge stock code, etc...).

    My request and response with the XML data returned works very well in SoapUI.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I agree with Phillip (except that you want to "inflate" the payload).  You can simply post a VI with full response defined as default in a string control/indicator and I am betting we could get it sorted.

    Thanks Darin, I think acompress and after reading an article google re: SAP NetWeaver, who used the terms inflate and deflate, I confused my prefixes. I also regularly exchange numbers when transcribing the long numbers. Dyslexic, I am.

    JonnyR - please use the uncompress function I've included on the same link as soon as possible. You will need to remove the header HTML of the string portion. If you do not, unzip it will interpret the header as compressed data and you will get jumbled as output data.
