• The dreaded "?" in my photo files

  I keep all my photos on an external hard drive (f) and use LR6 on my laptop.  Occasionally, LR6 shows a number of "?" in the section files normally indicating that I forgot to attach the HD.  Once I attach the HD and restart LR, everything works.  Sometimes, I get a "?" and I just have to use the "search" function to display LR where the files/folders.  This time, my LR entire file structure is showing '?  When I click right and select 'Search', and then tap on the F: drive, the ' puter shows two complete sets of matching records.  When I choose one of them, an option pop up to "Merge" the two same named folders.  It left me speechless...  Does anyone else have this situation?

  Hi Sherry,

  You have Norton installed?  You have a special backup program installed?  These are usually to indicate if a file has not been saved or scanned.  It is not caused by MSE, and probably isn't a malware.  Check your backup and security software and there should be a configuration setting to enable or disable the icon coches.

  Open Acrobat Reader DC, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.

  Also check the updates under the Help menu. If any please install.

• Do not see the option «Export all Flickr photos»

  I'm working on a Mac OS X (MacBook Air) and the use of Logic Pro X (that I started using a few weeks ago). When I try to find the option to export all tracks (which I said is "file > export > export all tracks as Audio files '), it does not appear. I only see "Loop Library Region", "Region as Audio file" and "Selection as a MIDI file. Is there something that I am missing? I need to download something or erase some memory? I don't know this is user error, but I just need to know exactly what is the error the user makes

  Here is an example of the properties of one of my .dll files: c:\windows\system32\microsoft.ManagementConsole.dll - file Type: unknown Application - opens with: unknown Application - (if I try to open it, it asks me to choose in my list, or search the Web for an application)

  My problem is, I don't know what the hell I do! Laughing out loud. I don't even know now why I even noticed it.  Anyway, I guess my question is 1) should I I even try to choose an application to open .dll files, or is it a security setting, so I won't be able to open the files that I have no business opening? (2) my properties should apply real knon, instead of saying we don't know? How do I find a list of file names that tell you what you should choose to open different applications or extensions?

  I appreciate all help. I fear I can screw up my laptop and I'm on League when it comes to such things.

  What you see, it's normal.  It is not possible for a user to directly open a .dll (Dynamic Link Library) file.   The file contains functions that can use other programs, but it cannot open or run by itself.

• My tabs seem strange today with no arrows at the beginning and end to see several tabs.

  The appearance of my tabs changed this morning. The green arrows at the end of end of beginning of the line of tabs have disappeared.

  The arrows appear when the tape to tabs is full, to allow the user to navigate too full, otherwise these arrows are not displayed.

• Once Firefox, all my PDF files now have the Firefox icon. I don't like this. Mozilla is working on a fix for this?

  As stated, I used the reset function in Firefox and everything immediately after the icon on all my PDF files changed the Firefox icon. I hope that Mozilla is working on a fix for this?

  It works when you enter in the Acrobat > edit > Preferences > General & the application by default option choose down? to reselect it adobe application and confirm this selection...

• All Documents and files of Desktop/shortcuts will miss - restore but still - missing but the properties of the folder indicates the used disk space

  I use Windows Vista Home Premium.  I am the only user and gave me administrative prvileges.

  I was working on my computer when I decided to look at some of my data to the application.  I have come to C:\Users\MYPROFILE but don't see the AppData folder.  However, all my other files were there (office, Documents, etc.).  I have a click with the button right on my profile and click on the attributes Hidden and hit apply.  He took a few moments he went through all folders of files (you can tell by when it indicates the size).

  After this happened, I tried to go back in C:\Users but my profile was gone.

  I restarted and when the office came, all my desktop files had disappeared and the shortcut to IE.  When I click on my profile, it was empty with the exception of the default folders.  All default folders were empty of all my data.

  I did a restore system a few days ago and my profile came, but it was always empty.  However, when I go to c:\users and right click on my profile and press properties, it shows size 11.5 GB as well as the creation date of February 17, 2009 (which is correct).  However all my data are still missing.  Any ideas?

  Display your user folder by deleting a hidden file attribute can be set on the access property page when you right click on your user folder.  Let the net of new low for subfolders and files not hidden attribute when the option is available to you.

  To see the hidden files and system under normal circumstances, go to control panel / Folder Options / view and uncheck both options so that they are visible.  This is not your main problem, however, you must remove the attribute hidden in your user folder.
