Task manager 100% after 8.1 install

I did a refresh on my mobile phone, update windows8. 8.1 installed.

Now my task manager is full of

Hpconnectedremoteservice 30 x in the list of processes

I went for more details and he says:

HPConnectedRemoteService.exe name and description Hpconnectedremoteservice.exe

also several windows problem reports on the list of processes

gone for more details and he says:

Name

pid status 4240 werefault.exe description windows problem report system user running, but don't say what's the probem

It lists both of these times on the list of processes

each of them taking the pieces of memory an i'm pegged at 100% cpu disk flexes from 8 to 100%

I get messages saying to record what I'm working on it must close the programs because not enough memory

I connect wireless router

I guess my question is how can I help my lap top understand such things?

Assistant to support has been a great help, prob fixed, but I could not remove this

    Hello

As far as I understand, you are not able to use some 3rd party applications after the awakening of Eve Vista but other applications running ok only software Thunderbird Portable to the SDHC card.

Well, I have come to the conclusion that the card reader can hangs after the awakening of the stand by mode or the ThunderbirdPortable should be repeated. Probably it s not a problem of Vista, but question ThunderbirdPortable.

  • Satellite C670D-10W - Task Manager shows 100% CPU usage

My new laptop with windows 7 factory-installed and all programs by Toshiba nothing addded present 100% of the CPU usage in the task Manager and works quite slow. The sum of 80 strange process in the Task Manager is never more than 30 to 50%, but the key is always 100%.

Process hacker I tried 2, shows the same process in Task Manager.
    What can be the problem?

    Hey Malki,

He run a background process and they need the CPU usage that of normal. Antivirus is running in the background like other tools as well. As far as I know after the installation of recovery the defragmentation tool runs also in the background.

Interesting to know is what problem you have. I mean usually the CPU usage is not important if you can do everything and computer works correctly.

    You have problems?

  • My CPU usage is at 100%, but the task manager says that nothing is more than using 01%

Last night, I installed the updates for Windows 7 during the stop, as I normally do. He said there are four updates, and one went by pretty quickly. It seemed to get stuck on the second (even though he probably didn't want to - the blue ORB turned and the dots are moving, so I guess it's to large or slow) for a few minutes, three update took slightly less time and at the time he obtained for the release of four, I was paying attention just because I was so tired.

In any case, I went to start my laptop (Toshiba Satellite) and on black splash screen "starting windows" with the flag/banner, he said that he needed install/configure 360 some odd updates. I had seen this before, although I do not remember how recently, so I thought nothing of it. I still don't know if it meant something significant.

Now the problem is that my CPU usage is constantly at 100%, yet when I finally managed to open the Task Manager, NONE of the listed processes use anything more than 1%, and those who fluctuate. I can easily boot into safe mode, and from there, I have disabled the start of the process, such as taskbar support and itunes things google related, but I still boot normally to 100%.

Any ideas? It would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm going to College next year and I really don't want to worry about finding how to get a new machine.

    Thank you!

    Hi Renae92,

    1. You have security software installed on the computer?
    2. High CPU usage occurs after the boot process?

    Method 1

As the problem does not persist in safe mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest you run the troubleshooter of performance and check if it helps.

  • 100% use of the disk in the Task Manager when you use Photoshop CC (8.1-64-bit Windows)

    Hello

I have been using Adobe CC for a month or two now. I have an Asus laptop with Intel Core i7 (2.4 GHz), 6 GB RAM, 1 TB hard disk space and 64 bit, almost 6 months old. Following apps are installed: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, Acrobat Pro XI, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. I recently did an update through Adobe CC for Photoshop and Illustrator, all the others are up to date.

I think, but I could be wrong, since this update Photoshop is weird on my laptop. When I run Photoshop, my task manager immediately indicates a rate of 100% of my use of the disk. This seems to be off, after it is fully operational, but when I start to edit a file, the use of the disc immediately breaks back to 100%, while the CPU remains below 10%, RAM stays 3, 5-3, 8 GB (only 60% of total capacity) and even the actual read and write speeds of my HARD drive are not particularly high (5-10 MB max). And because of the use of the disk of 100%, Photoshop freezes in an instant and operating it is almost impossible.

I already uninstalled Photoshop, passed all services and * that could trigger it in Windows 8.1 (Google search for: 8.1 Windows disk use 100%), re-installed Photoshop and I still have the same problem.

So, I was wondering if there could be a solution to this problem or if anyone else has this problem as well?

    Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: this error only applies when trying to manipulate, add, change or delete the text. All other functions (unrelated to the text) seem to work fine.

Check out this help file: troubleshooting fonts | CS6 2014 CC, CC, Photoshop, CS5

You can also try resetting Photoshop preferences and increasing the amount of ram available to Photoshop, if troubleshooting doesn't help.

  • After the update 42, partial load in memory (Task Manager), but the software antivirus keeps thread bound to perform but only loads 2nd & subsequent.

Manager tasks shows Firefox loaded as a service, but a of threads waiting to complete. There is no application shown in the Task Manager (which seems reasonable that Firefox has not loaded).
There is no error message. The 'circle of rotation of microsoft"is going for a few seconds, then disappears as if the schedule.
It happens after 2nd & subsequent charges after reboot. Firefox seems to work the first time after reboot. It happened only after upgrade to 42. Clean installation makes no difference. Chrome works OK
Worked well up until the 42 update. Tried to do a clean install with the box to inform Mozilla erased.
Maybe Firefox started using a port that is blocked by the antivirus? I don't get no logging for the virus scanner showing what it to be blocked. A comprehensive analysis reveals nothing.
Operating system is Windows 10 (64-bit)

Abandoned trying to actually find what is actually happening. Changed software virus scanner.
I think (and this is just a guess) is that to integrate with windows update update 42 change the output method to the telemetry file the antivirus does not. It is perhaps that the antivirus cannot manage that file or property, but it does not record the fact, a failure of the antivirus.
There is a hint of doubt in my mind when an upgrade causes a system that works to fail in a non traceable method.

  • Firefox will not hold, but shows in the Task Manager, after updating graphics drivers from AMD 13.1.

    Hello

After update for drivers AMD 13.1 on my 5770, Firefox will not launch; It doesn't, however, appears in the Task Manager. I want to emphasize that it will boot into Windows safe mode; When I opened it in safe mode, I used this time to deactivate all plugins, modules, extensions and created a new profile. This did not help. I also tried launching Firefox in its safe mode and had no luck with that either.

I encountered this problem once before, when trying to upgrade to an earlier version. I think I was moving from 12.1 to 12.4, but I'm not 100% sure of that. In the end, my solution was then to retrograde back to my previous driver. The steps mentioned in the previous paragraph has not helped at that time, not do a complete reinstall.

experience of 15 years, and that computer repair baffled me.

Thanks to all those who might be able to help.

  • Download install Flash, disappears in the process in the Task Manager despite

Installed the latest Firefox on Windows 7 64-bit. Cannot complete installation of Flash Player of in Firefox as it may seem, it cannot connect to the Adobe server. After manual download from the Adobe site and after that the site correctly recognizes the operating system and other details, download successfully. Start the installation program only to see the downloaded file disappear from the download folder and nothing happens, no dialogue, etc. While they inspected the Task Manager, the process is here and running but seems to do nothing. I suspect that this is not a problem with Firefox, nor Flash, but rather w7, but thought I'd start here. Using the standard w7 firewall and AVG free for antivirus. Recently purchased from DELL.

Try to download and run http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe. Adobe standard setup is horrible.

  • FF 8 causes flash to not however with load after you open the Task Manager and open the plugin container folder, everything works fine

New upgrade FF and all the flash based video site does not load and makes computer almost hang. After I open the Task Manager and go to the folder where is the plugin container, everything works back. I don't do anything at all after opening the folder.

What kind of error is it? Its very strange. If all goes well, there is a fix for this.

Another method would be to uninstall FF and install FF8.0 and not use the upgrade FF7.0. It worked for me.

    Hello

Thank you for your kind reply.

    My answers to your questions:

    1 processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 1.80 GHz

    2. RAM: 2.00 GB

    3 OS architecture: 32-bit

    4. OS version: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (V6.1.7601)

As I said before, CPU usage was 100% even if no demand had started. The operating system (explorer.exe) used about 60% of the CPU.

Microsoft Security Essentials has not helped.

In the meantime, I found a solution. After using restore system several times (not only one!), I managed to get my normal working conditions in return.

    Problem solved, thanks again!

    Best regards

  • After Windows Update: Start, taskbar, toolbar, tools, etc., have disappeared. Disabled Task Manager, programs don't run, etc, etc.

My multi-monitor desktop Win XP through a long Windows update yesterday. Starting this morning, button bar and try to start at the bottom of the screen are no longer present. My table of multi-monitor configuration has changed radically in view/settings. All the tabs on the Task Manager are missing - with the exception of the processes tab. All keyboard and mouse commands have been disabled. To restart, I had to unplug the computer from power. Restart twice again obtained the same results. As there was no apparent way to start programs and features in Windows (Control Panel, Windows Explorer, Manager tasks, etc.) I resorted to a Safe Mode system restore after snatching the lead for the third time.

It seems that a system restore is the only cure for this, and I started this operation. Updates of various sellers require me to use to restore the system several times each month.  I learned to fear the automatic updates for fear that they will cost hours and days of recovery since the "cure" for other ailments that are not obvious to me. The last update all deleted antivirus controls volume and their icons. I have still not got their back. But I digress...
    My questions:
    What I've done wrong?
    Should I disable updates?
How can I make sure that the updates stop disabling my computer?
What are your recommendations to repair the damage?
    Thank you.

    Hi Craig,.

Follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

I would say you turn off the automatic updates (not recommended however) and install the updates manually ensuring that you will refrain from any installation problem causing updates unless it says "important updates.

    a. log in Windows XP to your administrator account. Click 'Start', then right-click "My computer" and select "Properties".
    b. Select the "Automatic updates" tab and then click on "Turn off automatic updates."
    c. click 'OK' to turn off the automatic updates.

    Step 2:

You can also test the issue in a State of clean boot in safe mode (after installing updates).

Note: Don't forget to restart your computer as usual.
