  Take a look at JDev in the resource Palette. My catalogs and open catalogs WebCenter Services. He has a record of data control. You find the control of profile data. Right-click on it and select Add to project.

  Can someone please help me add custom box in an application built in LabVIEW 2009? I had successfully built my application in labview 8.6, 8.5 and 8.2 before including custom on the box. However, when I tried the same method in LabVIEW 2009, it only shows about LabVIEW 2009 box rather than my custom on the box.

  Here's what I did:

  (1) a written one "on Application.vi" in the folder VI built;

  (2) included this "On Application.vi" in the "Still included" section in Application source files to build;

  (3) built on demand;

  (4) Ran the built application, the box about showed only LabVIEW 2009 subject (attached a picture).

  You can see that it is my custom icon on the top left corner of the image.

  Thanks Christian. To place a check mark in the 'use LabVIEW 8.x file layout' box did not work. I found a solution although LabVIEW 2009 has this inherent problem of not showing custom on the box, and there f2 patch to fix this problem.

• Modify the error pages customized in the spaces of the Webcenter Portal

  Hi all

  I use webcenter spaces 11.1.1.8.6. I need help on the following points.

  How can I create an error page customized for generic error pages that we have in the system pages as encountered error; None of the accessible Pages; Page not found; Portal not found; Not allowed. The goal is that we replace these pages with the page of the custom portal which has the appearance of portal and personalized message.

  For example. If we want to replace the profile page custom in webcenter we can create a customized our own page and create a writing of this page in the WC_PPL_COMMON_SETTING table. This will replace the profile existing and call our newly created custom page.

  Similarly, I want to know what can I do to change (like the encountered error error pages; None of the accessible Pages; Page not found; Portal not found; Not allowed).

  One way is to customize and press start to customizaing the default page. But I want to keep the default page as it is and to create my own new page, as I said to the profile.

• No menu custom runtime not compiled application dynamically loaded top level VI

  Problem occurs in LabVIEW 2011 SP1:

  I have a main VI ("launcher VI') that generates other top-level screws by cloning when running a model them VI (* .lives). The clone laid screws have a menu custom runtime. Everything works very well, in the development as well as environment in a compiled application.

  A debuggable compiled application also works very well, either autonomous running or under the control of a debug server, when I really do debugging.

  However, when you control with thr debug server, runtime menu is only visible (but not used) in the VI controlled, while in the VI (remote) control the standard menu appears.

  What should I do to display the custom in the VI remote menu?

  I think that this is a known bug.

  I think remember me a recurrent issue with menus run time, lost in compiled applications. However it only the effects of the menus that you create by using the menus TIME Editor. If you generate the menu programmatically, which IMHO is better anyway, you do not have the problem.

• Flex 4.1 export of custom components in an Application or Module if used in the Module only?

  According to me, Miss me something here:

  "Because a module is loaded into a child domain, it has definitions of classes that are not in the area of the main application. For example, the first module to load the PopUpManager class becomes the owner of the PopUpManager class for the whole application because it records the Manager with the SingletonManager. If later another module tries to use the PopUpManager, Adobe® Flash® Player throws an exception.

  This technique also applies to components. The module that uses the first has the class of the component definition in its field. Therefore, if another module tries to use a component that has already been used by another module, its definition do not match the existing definition. To avoid a mismatch of definitions of element, create an instance of the component in the main application. The result is that the definition of the component is the property of the main application and can be used by modules in any field of the child. »

  I thought that if I use a component in one module then I won't be able to use it in application modules or a brother and I would be able to use it only in the Submodule of this module as the component definitions are in the scope of module which is a child of the scope of the application.

  So I just do a simple example: application with 2 moduleLoaders and 2 modules both using the same 3 components:

  (1) ButtonBar

  (2) DataGrid

  (3) CustomSkinnableComponent (empty, just extends SkinnableComponent) with custom skin (with a Rect 200 x 200 px, extends skin).

  I start the application--> two modules load without problem. Wasn't this supposed to cause error with the second loading module because the first module contains the definitions of components? Or does not result in an error because the component definitions match and match because my component is in the same project in flex, and in this case there is no problem. Problem will be if I have 2 or more RSL with the same definitions of package and class, but different features?

  I do not really understand how to cause incompatibility of definitions component so I can watch to avoid that it... can someone please explain?

  I'm confused and I thought I knew this kind of things. What Miss me?

  Also one last thing:

  I thought that if a module contains component definitions which means it is swf should grow in size-> due to the use of modules. If the application contains the definitions of components would not be what it means the application swf will grow in size and then-> why should I use a module? To save the memory of bodies and images/fonts embeded in the module?

  Bearing also in mind that the skin of a component is also a class definition and I incorporate some large images in there, and I use this skin in 2 modules, wouldn't that require skin to be implemented-> big size of swf application and no module swf as it should?

• Writing own Viewer customized to an existing application.

  We are working on the content providing app where you can buy and read magazines, newspapers etc... We had the obligation to also support .folio files. As I am new to folio files, I don't know where to start.

  Do I have to write my own engine for rendering (or Viewer) for files of folio, I've heard of the Adobe Content Viewer, how can I incorporate this into my application?

  Note: According to the answer in this link (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1477042), we are not able to switch completely to the DPS. Any other idea?

  The answer I provided in the thread that you accessed is always the right answer. If you want to support .folio files then you need to build a DPS application. We do not provide an SDK to integrate our technology viewing in other applications, and trying to write your own care to correctly display the .folio files would take a lot of engineering effort.

• Custom apps open, Manager application Adobe keeps trying to connect?

  I have the creative cloud suit, it worked perfectly in the past. I ran some updates last night, then tried to open indesign. The adobe application manager window opens, I click on connect, it activates, new window and I click continue (normally indesign open at this stage). App Manager gets stuck in a loop me in signing and clicking on continue. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled. I deleted the file in the library folder, such as recommended. But still nothing works. Any help would be appreciated as have to work this weekend.

• The customer wants an Audio application

  I was contacted by a client wishing a method will have min 15 audio files in an application where it can load content. So I was thinking of using DPS for this purpose. A beautiful 1 design Folio page with the audio file embedded in it and distribute with a multi-folio CA. obviously I would disable kiosk in DPS is a regular application in the App store.

  Just installed Webcenter. There are some nice features like social networking, discussions, streams of activity, worklist integration etc. An important feature that caught my attention was the DT@RT component (specifically, editing special-stream via the web). To using this component only modify the Webcenter applications? I'll be able to edit taskflows built using the application libraries and deployed within an application from merger running in a field of autonomous fusion?
  
  Also the ADF applications can be built apps Webcenter or Fusion (appl core) (because the data controls are available in both). As a general rule, what features are implemented via Webcenter applications and which are implemented using the essential applications of Fusion appl?

  That's the beauty of the WebCenter. In its essence, it is nothing more than a Web Application of merger with lots and lots of additional libraries.
  All the features available to you in a merger application, you can also use in a webcenter application. You can create a model project that uses business components, you can create a taskflows as you would normally do a fusion web app.

  It is advisable to separate these features and develop transactional functionality in a separate application and deploy it as a shared ADF library and include it in your app webcenter. Using the catalogue of resources, you can add these taskflows on any page during execution.
  Using webcenter services, you can also include some services like tagging, linking, documents and so on in your own taskflows which gives it that extra touch of your generation taskflows custom.

  While referring to (http://js.xyz.com/js/abc.js) external js file in my integrated jsff in weblogic page, there is no problem, js works perfect , but when I deploy my workflow a workflow customized to webcenter spaces page cannot access this file js url.

  I have to give this operation any grant? How?  I found something external applications like this, but there wasn't a connection information. My field of js file didn't need approval.

• Taskflow added to the Page template

  I created a taskflow in my Webcenter Portal application.  Then, it is included in my page template (drag + drop so that all the necessary links are created)
