TC01 logging period frequency

Just open the tc01 and plugged with recorder spreadsheet works OK.

1. How can I get the minimum 4 samples per second sampling rate.  It seems that I can only put the drop down to once per second.

2. is there a way to export a tab or for excel comma-delimited format so that it directly opens without having to analyze data in Excel?

Thank you.

Brian

Hi Brian,.

I found documentation on our website they you may find useful. I've included some links below that address issues you have posted.

  • Interesting scenario, is it necessary to reset the logs periodically?

    10.2.0.2 Ent Ed - Rman 10.2.0.2 - aix 5.3

Is it possible you need to perform a reset of the logs periodically? This issue initially came to me at the worst of times, during a large enough database recovery.

If / when you perform a spfile or controlfile recovery without a recovery catalog, if your log sequence is greater than 255 and your last backup was more a day there, is - it possible your last backup is located? In our scenario, we had a day old controlfile cliché that we used, but I don't know if we would have been able to recover was not there. Reading of 10g, Recovery Manager Reference manual:

    "FROM AUTOMATIC BACKUP.
    [autoBackupOptionList]
Restores a backup of control file. You can specify this option on the RESTORE CONTROLFILE controls and RESTORE SPFILE. When restoring or another type of file in NOCATALOG mode, the SAFEGUARD clause is necessary.

RMAN starts the search on the current date or the day specified with the VALUE up to THAT. If no automatic backup is in the currents or DEFINED so far, RMAN checks the previous day from sequence 256 (or sequence specified by MAXSEQ) until it reaches 0. The search continues until days MAXDAYS (default 7, maximum of 366) of the current or DEFINED to date. If no automatic backup located within days MAXDAYS, RMAN reports an error and stops the command. "

The doc says not her, but if you have not already tried it define MAXSEQ > 256, you will get an error if you do. 256 is the upper limit for the parameter MAXSEQ. This is an excerpt from my test of this code:

You can always resort to restore spfile/controlfile by specifying the name of the backuppiece itself.

  • Archiving logs apply frequency in Data Guard

    Dear all,

How can we verify/set up the frequency archive newspapers should be applied to the Data Guard?

    Version: 10 g 2; OS: Windows 2003 R2 (64-bit).

How we can configure the frequency of archive logs must be applied to the DG?

Erase the question once more what you're expecing, as I understand, it's...

It depends on the Redo genearation / Archive primary & network latency between primary databases & Eve.
There is a configuration, you can change in the primary to put options such as delay , net_timeout and so on.

    consult this manual too.

How can I configure management automatic cancellation in 9i?

    Thank you

If UNDO_RETENTION has no impact on the ORA-01555 error, this error message you will get in this scenario?

    UNDO_RETENTION = 1800
    Query running time = 1900

Works SQL and requires a block of data to read cancellation that has been updated there are 1900. Meanwhile, other users are using the system and the cancellation expired (anything above 1800) was crushed. User request will be error, and I would say that this will be an ORA-01555? Correct me if I'm wrong.

As pointed out by bby Viswarayar Maran, your UNDO_RETENTION must be on the longer duration of the query. It's what he's there for. Yes, it can happen when you commit inside a loop, but it may happen in this case, too, I think.

    Actions:

1 increase the size of REDO logs
    2. take another report statspack for the same period of time on a comparable day (in terms of workload, running processes, etc.) and see what it looks like

Question: Your statspack report is from 22:00 - midnight, what are your pics to load? You have a working window batch during the night which is and then charge during the day? If so, we will need to look at this time for the statspack report, too.

  • Difference between redo logfiles, Undo Tablespace, Archive log data file

Can some please highlight the difference between Undo and Redo Logs
Also why we need to separate the archive logs when the recovery log data can be written directly in data files...

Help you will be highly appreciated...

    Hello

Ed gave you a very good answer.

Rememeber database files are online and they are written to by DBWR process. So we have the database files, redo log files and archive logs.
In order to avoid all the crawl log when you perform a recovery, database performs control points that summarize the State of the database. This operation of control point provides a shortcut to the recovery. At the checkpoint, the database knows that all incorrect pages were written to disk (for example, database files). At the time of recovery, the log (which includes-finished and unfinished transactions) is used to bring the database to a consistent state. The system locates the time of the last checkpoint and returned to this position in the log file. Then he restores forward all completed transactions (read committed) that occurred after the last checkpoint and rolls back all transactions that were not committed, but that began before the last checkpoint. This is where online log files are used.

Now imagine that you need to back up your database GB 100 + all 10 minutes. It would be a waste of space! So you take a backup of your database at time t and backups of archiver process redo logs periodically to check the newspapers so that redo log files can be replaced and RMAN will use the last backup and archive the log files to recover your database at the time.

Now, I mentioned the checkpoint process. The Checkpoint process regularly launches a control point that uses DBWR to rewrite all the blocks Sales in the data files, so synchronize the database. Imagine one dam is running and have exhausted all the redo log files. At this point, Oracle will wait until all Sales already queued blocks have been written to the buffer on disk (database files) foremost him redo log files can be considered as superfluous and available for re-use (i.e. can be overwritten). This will result in the following message in the alert.log:

Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 17973
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 0: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3aHAM1.dbf
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 1: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3bHAM1.dbf
Thread 1 cannot allocate new log, sequence 17974
    Checkpoint not complete
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 0: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3aHAM1.dbf
      Current log# 3 seq# 17973 mem# 1: /oracle/data/HAM1/log3bHAM1.dbf
Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 17974

I am sure you have done the following:

    alter database mount;

    Database altered.

When you mount a database, Oracle combines the instance started the database. Oracle control files are opened and read. However, no checking such as the restore/recovery is performed

    alter database open;

    Database altered.

An open command opens the data files, recovery logs, it performs automatic and consistency of database recovery. At this point, the database is now ready to be used by all valid users.

  • 9205 digital entry into Compact DAQ sistem

I have a Council NI 9205 and I want to use the digital input to acquire a digital fashion Laser diffuse sensor signal, to measure the speed of rotation of an electric motor. The problem is that I have not access to PFI0 in terminal mode of spring. NOR Max I can only receive analog signals. Thank you!

    Hi Padeanu.L,

You are right that it is not possible to use PFI 9205 MAX line using the DAQ Assistant.  However, it is possible in any programming environment that you prefer (LabVIEW, C, etc.).  The PFI line cannot be used as a digital task, but it can be used with counters (edges of County, period, frequency, etc.).  For example, in the Counter - County Edges.vi example, you can set the input terminal/9205DeviceName/PFI0 and the meter/ChassisName/_ctrN, where N is the counter that you want to use.  The underscore character counter is because the 9205 has only one PFI line that does not support all modes of counting cDAQ, which is also why he does not for you in MAX.

  • Problem with the biphasic signal generator

    Hello!

I filtered signal and detected envelope with OATS envelope detection.vi of given length. And now I need to modulate signal biphasic (photo). The biphasic signal should be the same length as my envelope signal. I want to be able to change the width of peak (25us) time and period, frequency (1 kHz), the biphasic signal amplitude (1). I know that I can start with pulse pattern.vi (check my diagram). But I don't know how to put together it me give only a single period. I have LabVIEW 2013.

You can repeat your profile of signals using a loop. Keep in the Middle the number of times where the model is repeted depends on the length of the theme of your message and the sampling frequency, you use the model and the message. Check this picture (just a quick suggestion):

Sorry, we don't know exactly what you want.  If you can say what you want in English, then someone can help you code it in SQL.

What's wrong? And how to start 'EM?
    Thank you!

It seems that the server.xml file is empty. Server.XML will be truncated when the file system was full. Truncate the logs periodically to avoid this problem in the future.

  • Data acquisition period log rate Counter

I measure and record the duration of a pulse train of digital entry (entry to the NI9421 card on a DAQ, series "C" chassis and recorded via LabVIEW SignalExpress 2009).  The acquisition stage 'Counter period' is configured to use ' 1 meter"measuring method.

In order to save the data that I have to use ' 1 sample (on request)"acquisition mode.

When I go through the saved data, how can I determine:

    (a) the sampling frequency of the recorded data points?

point b) absolute timestamp of all the data?

The log file has no information concerning the frequency of recording and my experiences, it seems to change based on the measured period of entry.

    Any ideas?

    Hi a.yearsley,

Counters on cDAQ chassis 1st generation (9172) do not support measures clocked sample period.  I assume you are using this chassis since you mentioned that you have the module in slot 5 or 6.

Your County of edge is very similar to the method of meter high frequency 2.  In both cases, you specify a length of time and count the edges of your external signal during this period.  The 2nd counter is used to generate the gate signal for the duration of time specified.  Your error with this method is up to 1 time of the external signal, it is more commonly used with higher frequency signals (I don't know what is the frequency of the signal).

The standard method of 1 meter counts the number of ticks to a time base internally (80 MHz) for a period of the input signal.  As the signal itself, it is what is blocking the measure, the sample is locked in the buffer on the edge of the signal and is not clocked independently.  If you wish, you can configure the implicit synchronization, which gives you a period measured for each face of the input signal.

Taking the stage above an idea more far, you could just set up a task to County of edge with the time of 80 MHz as the source database.  Use the external signal as a sample clock.  The only difference between this and using the standard period with implicit synchronization measure is that the counter is not reset after each sample.  This could make it easier to follow if you want to save a sample all the x seconds (that is, once the total passes a certain value).  You can find the period by subtracting the consecutive numbers and multiplying by the period of the time base (12.5 ns).  The meter would be turning after 53.69 seconds about, but if you read the County under the name of U32 there will be no problem with the subtraction (0000 - FFFF = 1 if the numbers are 32).

If you're on cDAQ chassis 2nd generation (e.g. 9174, 9178, 9188), then you have not actually taken in charge for a period clocked sample measurement.  You can choose to enable a medium or not.  The user manual 9178/9174 has diagrams showing the extent of the clocked sampling frequency that is essentially the same thing (the driver reverse the measurement period for the frequency).  Must be guaranteed at least 1 m from your external signal between the sample clocks, if you use this method.  The clock can come from many sources - I would probably recommend using another counter to generate.

    Best regards

  • 6608 period or frequency limit of sampling frequency

I use a card counters/timers 6608 and want to measure the period of a square wave of variable frequency.

I need the period of each rising edge because this same front is used for my external clock analog data acquisition cards.

In this way, I know the time between measures of individual position.

I used the example VI soul ctr.vi hollow low frequency Freq 1 and add the code appropriate to read continuously.

I use a function generator to test the equipment and it seems to work fine until 100 kHz.  After that the 200141: data has been replaced before it could be read - error takes place.

This error takes place at exactly the same number of pulses every time I try running at a given frequency.

I could not find information that would be me index a limit to the frequency of measurement period on this map.

If anyone else has had a similar experience and it is a limitation or is there a setting I'm missing?

    Thank you

    DVS,

Please post on the Forums of NOR. This overflow error memory buffer that you see is because our advice of counters/timers have a buffer FIFO of two samples for counter measures. What you run, however, is the fact that you take action as soon as your computer can DMA transfer these measures out of the buffer. I would suggest trying to use other measures to counter as "two meter - range" to see if that would help you take frequency readings higher.

Our documentation on the FIFO can be found here. I hope that clarifies the question a bit, thanks!

  • Questions on the retention period of Audit SACLS log (FS7600-FluidFSv4)

    Hello

To save the audit log SACL for a year.

However, I couldn't find the setting of shelf life.

    I have two questions.

1.) is it possible to change the retention period?

(2.) what is the default value of the retention period?

    Please me advice.

    Config #SACL # #.

    Kensuke-san,

My apologies for the late reply.  The journal of the SACL allows to store up to 100 000 events before flipping and overwrite older events.   There is no way to change this value.

    With respect,

No, it is not AFAIK. You can try back LR 6 and then buy the subscription of photographers. You will need to contact Adobe about this.

Note that this is not Adobe. This is a user to user forum.

Do a search for Adobe product return.

  • Try to buy the trial period in a different e-mail - message error "error in your account order has been registered for another country. Please log out and log in with an existing account for this country. OK ".
