Tecra A - how to remove finger prints?

Hello

I remove all the fingers of my laptop fingerprint reader. I can't remove the fingerprints of other users with the Inspector memory fingerprint. File aid Protector Suite QL and computers laptop manual says that it should remove the button in the center of control, but in my laptop is not that. It is not possible to connect with other users and remove fingerprints, so I really need information how to remove all of the fingerprints of the reader?

Hello

Saved to fingerprints, data is stored in a special non-volatile memory inside the fingerprint sensor. To remove fingerprints data, you will need to follow this:

? Start TrueSuite Access Manager
? The display check will appear then, either you have to drag your registered finger or enter the Windows logon password and click Next.
? Now the user fingers screen
? To remove all of the fingers, click on remove all traces of fingers and follow the instructions on the screen

Note: you can log on Windows by using logon password. For this you must press BACK SPACE. Then password = desire and there you can enter the user password or password supervisor manually to start the laptop.

  • Tecra M5 - how to remove the Bios password?

    Hey guys,.

My Tecra M5 got a password for BIOS from one day to the other, I never told him to do.

All of my passwords do not work, so how can I reset the password?

    Please help me :)

I never heard that the BIOS password can be activated only then I m wondering really how that can happen in your Tecra M5.

You must understand that the BIOS password is a very important protection and we cannot discuss in the public forum about this.
How to remove the BIOS is not always the same and Tecra, as cell phone business model, is quite complicated procedure of withdrawal of the BIOS and it can be made by Toshiba only service provider.

    I'm sorry.

    Hello

You can easily remove the memory modules.
I think that the Bay is placed at the bottom of the unit.
Remove the screw that is blocking the Bay, and you will have access to the module.

I am a technician in a large enterprise COMPUTING and have been presented with a Tecra M3 which took the user/HDD to set passwords.
I need to redistribute the laptop to another employee, but I need to make sure that no game of passwords of the bios.

Now that I know what is the existing password, I have reset / removed the user password, eliminating 'password =' fast before the start.

However, I find no docco to tell me how to remove the HARD drive password. I am always prompted with "password HARD drive integrated =" command prompt.

Can I put it, I change it. I just can't take it off.
It's probably somewhere simple, I'm not quite familiar with this model.

I should note here: I KNOW WHAT IS THE EXISTING PASSWORD, so I'm not a suspect type "how to bypass a password disk HARD unknown?". I just need to know how to, or remove it completely if the new user-to-be is not invited.

  • How to remove a printer who falls down the print spooler

    Windows 7 64 bit

My print spooler seems to be screwed in place. Initial symptom was showing no printer installed, even though I have several applications. I was able to remove all my printers except one: when I try to delete it, the print spooler crashes, thus preventing the printer are removed. The printer (and others that I was able to successfully delete) has been installed with Novell iPrint.

I've seen a few references to stop the print spooler and removing all C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS, but this place is already empty for me (with no hidden files).

Official documentation of Windows 7 to remove a printer says:

    1. Open devices and printers, click Start , and then, on the start menu, click devices and printers.
    2. Right-click the printer you want to remove, click on remove the device and then click Yes.

If you can't delete the printer, right-click again, click Run as administrator, click on remove the device and then click Yes. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

I don't have an option "Run as administrator" on the printer, so I can't try that last bit.

    Any other suggestions?

I guess you tried to uninstall the software of the printer through programs and features (if there is one)?

Is there an associated service of Novell iPrint? If so, stop it, then try the previous steps.

Is it possible to raise again through iPrint installation and remove it? I'm not familiar with this program (it's been 20 years I messed with Novell).

You are an administrator on this PC? Is this printer a network printer? If so, are there other PC on which may be trying to access?

    --

    SC Tom

P.S. I don't have the option "Run as Administrator" when I right click on any printer on one of three different computers with three different operating systems, so I don't know where Microsoft came up with that one.

    Hello

I guess you mean the BIOS password that occurs at the beginning.
Well, you can not remove this BIOS password by yourself. Only the Toshiba service partner can do.
In this case contact service in your country, and it can remove this password.

  • Tecra M5 - how to remove the screen hinges

    Hello

I need to replace the hinges of the screen (well one of them anyway)
I have the manual maintenance and computer in bits.

The manual says "Disassemble the hinge (left) while drag and spin it.", but no matter how hard wiggle/slide/tour that I can't get out.

Same problem with one of the other side.

To my knowledge there is no textbooks that would show you how to disassemble the unit. Such dismantling manuals are made for the Toshiba service guys.

  • Tecra A3X - how to remove the BIOS password?

    Hello

I have a Tecra A3x who died before Christmas. I bought a motherboard replacement on eBay. I mounted the motherboard and the powers of the Unit well stop but to a password screen that is black. I tried to find a way to wipe the BIOS and have removed the CMOS battery for about 10 minutes. I read that most laptops have a jumper built in too fix. I've looked in the usual places - memory modules etc. I can t find it anywhere.

Any help would be very welcome.

    Thank you
    John

    Hello John

As you probably know BIOS password is very important security feature and remove the BIOS password can be described on the public forum of the manufacturer s. It is a kind of top secret information.
It is not logical to do this, right?

Each Tecra A3X stolen with BIOS password could be unlocked.
In my opinion, you should contact the person who sells you this motherboard and request password. If he cannot stop, return. At this info in the description of the product on its offer to ebay?

  • Tecra A6 - how to remove the HARD drive password

I am repairing a laptop Tecra A6 for one of my clients.
For the first time, I fixed it for him, the hard drive was blocked from password and I had to reformat using an online service.

This time, when I took my customer's computer everything he had put on his computer was the fingerscroll / password to connect to the account, there was no protection of password on hard disc tray.
I brought it back to the shop, she booted up and immediately, I wonder a password to unlock the drive.
Somehow, the hard drive has developed a password.

    (1) is there a possible problem with the hard drive?
    (2) at - it a solution without having to wipe the hard drive
    (3) Toshiba has tools or the default password that would unlock it

The hard drive is a Toshiba MK6034GSX 80 GB.

    Any help please?

    Hello

The HARD drive password can be removed ONLY if the old password would be known to you.
If the HARD drive password is not known to you then you will not be able to delete
In this case, the HARD drive is blocked and is no longer usable.

  • Tecra R10 - how to remove the HARD drive?

Is there a description available hoe to remove a hard drive in a Tecra R10 and plugin a new hard drive?

    Hey Buddy,

As far as I know, the HARD drive is placed under the hood of the laptop and so many parts must be removed as a CD player, keyboard, base assy, etc..

In my opinion it of a delicate procedure and must be done by a technician laptop because a lot of screws must be removed as well.

Current HARD disk is defective or why you want to exchange it?
