Tecra M10 - 120 - my European warranty is not valid in the United States

I have a Toshiba - Tecra M10 - 12o laptop.
This unit that I bought in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates UNITED with 2 years international warranty extension.
The warranty is still on, and now I am settled in the USA.

Now, I'm having a problem with the LCD and want to have it repaired. I went to two suppliers of services authorized for Toshiba in New York, but after reviewing my system, they said that they are not allowed to fix it because it's a European model laptop.

For the same problem, I had the LCD screen, replaced in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates UNITED Toshiba distributor/service provider. But good as now I am in New York, USA and not able to get the correction of a problem here.

Please kindly advice how to get this problem fixed so that in the United States for a laptop of model Europen.

As far as I know and after the guarantee page ÉMAÉ Toshiba, Toshiba computers laptops, Netbooks and Smartbooks are covered by at least 1 year EMEA standard warranty, valid from the date of purchase.
This warranty is applicable only in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

So if you're outside the region of EMAE and if you don t have bought additional warranty extensions, you will have to pay for the service :(

    As far as I can tell that the iOS app can be installed by anyone, so this seems unnecessary.

  • Can I buy Lightroom 6 upgrade to the United States?  Not the creative cloud, but a record of /download to my computer.

    I have 5 Lightroom on my iMac computer.  I installed this program from a disc and do not subscribe to creative cloud.  I find download Lightroom 6 upgrade for the countries of South East Asia on the Adobe web page, but not for the United States.  Not sold in the United States?  What is available at Adobe or elsewhere?

    The devices normally work together.

    There is no difference in the hardware specifications for the watch. It can be configured to use your preferred language and format of the region.

    Adapter USB power to the watch will be located in the United States. To charge your watch via food in Europe, you can use the magnetic charge cable supplied together with a real 5W Apple (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) adapter USB power (or with a third party, Apple certified adapter).

    I want to buy a Tecra M4 tablet. The main reasons are: optical drive, with a resolution SXGA + and a good graphics chip.

    Toshiba saw fit to make us pay more than the United States and France for a laptop with only 1.73 Ghz, 60 GB hard drive, Combo DVD/CD-RW a skinny nVidia 6200 with 64 MB of ram.

    In the United States they may have 2.13 Ghz, tickets (+ R double layer), hard drive 80 GB and nVidia 6600 GPU with 128 MB of ram. All for less than what we are paying for our pathetic version.

    Because they do not give us a DVD burner, those who need to make restore disks will have 6-7 CD - R. Who can be bothered and dealing with that many discs.

    Toshiba you have really disappointed me. Re-enter your.

    I got a Toshiba laptop, I want to buy while on vacation in California, for home use in Britain.

    I am just wondering if the laptop developed a defect under warranty, I would be able to get support for it in the United Kingdom, or should I return it to the store I bought in California to be repaired?

    I could get a Dell similar spec for just a little more money, and I think I can return the Dell to the United Kingdom if purchased in the United States.

    Is anyone able to shed some light on this for me? I'd rather have the Toshiba on the Dell.

    Of course, I m not 100% sure, but I think that Toshiba doesn t have an old international interest more so I think that the American guarantee will not cover you in the United Kingdom, but for this you must ask Toshiba WE.

  • Customer service does not meet the United States relative to the Compact Z3 repair

    Hello and happy new year!  I was wondering if anyone has experience with sending in a Compact Z3 for repair/replacement under warranty in the United States.  I live chatted and called several times and I can't get any information on the status of my repair or when I get my phone back.  I wonder if you guys could get some advice on what to do next.

    My Z3 Compact suddenly started having battery problems (first similar to this: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3-Compact/Battery-levels-jumping-randomly-and-not-charging/td-... and then it stuck at 50% and no loading or unloading).  My phone is under warranty until 2017, so I called, got an RMA number and sent him into their repair center in Laredo, Texas.  He arrived on 12/14, and here's the problem: no one can give me an update as to what is happening.  Many cats live and e-mail gave no information.  After a week, I called their customer service line and they said he was being sent to a Manager, who was supposed to send me an email in the next 24 to 48 hours, but didn't.  After the second week, I called again, and it's the same thing (promised an email of a Manager, who I have not received).

    I was told at the beginning that since my phone is an international model, they may have to order parts and could not give me an ETA, but they said that most of the repairs are completed within 14 working days.  They had my phone for at least 10 working days now (and 2.5 weeks in total), and I really should hear a kind of update now.  I'm trying to be patient because it's the holidays and I'm sure their technicians to repair a bit of time off the coast, but some communication would be the bare minimum of acceptable customer service.  At the very least, if Sony does not include automatic updates, I should be able to get some info by calling, instead of this ridiculous evasive.

    What else can I do to get information on the status of my claim?

    I feel your pain. I had a similar lack of information when the screen back of my cracked Z3C randomly after 3 days of property. He was sent to Laredo. I never had an update... called at least twice to get an update and told me I would soon receive a response and how if yes or no the repair would be covered by the warranty.

    Two weeks past, and all of a sudden I get a box from Sony with my phone repaired on the inside. No updates, no notification, no nothing.

    TL, DR: expecting anything near decent service communication or client with this Sony repair center is little more dreaming.

    To sum up, some providers only allow access to their e-mail servers if you connect to the internet using their service. Others offer a special mail server settings for those who travel. Yet a third group assumes that everyone travel at some point and harden their service with passwords and step aside holidays and mobile silliness that invades the United States market particularly secure connection port.

    The short solution is really not use ISP provided email addresses. GMX, Yahoo, hotmail and gmail are free, do not have most of the things stupid ISP continue with more spam and limits and works the same from any internet connection.

    On OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G 31) to the United States. I'm about to throw my machine. The automatic updates continues to try to opening day even though I don't have it. Every day. I don't have the option to make it just stop trying to update. If I turn off notifications for the Auto-Update, it affects all of THE updates. Please give some ideas.

    Make sure that it is not a copy on a disk attached to the top.

    I suddenly can't open one of my docs of numbers. I get a msg "'name of the doc' document is not valid. The index.xml file is missing.  I literally had the open document this morning without problem, closed, tried to reopen and now I get this msg... all in the same session of the computer. It began not after an update or anything like that, right in the middle of a session of the computer.  You seem to affect all the docs of numbers.  I can't open an any of them now.  I am running OS X El Capitan Version 10.11 and numbers 09, Version 2.1.

    The case usual this message, it is that the document has been opened in numbers version 3.xx, which converts it into a new file version that uses the file index.xml internal requested by Numbers ' 09.

    The file was saved to iCloud or opened by the iOS version numbers or numbers for iCloud?

    Recommended 'cure' is to open the file using the 3 numbers, then save as... or export to format Numbers ' 09. As a result, remember numbers to quit smoking (v3) - menu numbers > numbers to quit smoking; by clicking on the red light closed the file, but doesn't end numbers. So avoid open numbers files by double-clicking on the file itself.

    Instead, start Numbers ' 09 (v2.3) and open the file in the application.
