  The Bluetooth device is a TrendNet TBW-102UB and in XP it works fine.
  The error message is "peripheral Bluetooth is not ready."
  After new installation updated from the manufacturer's Web site the problem persists.

  I put also t know why this happens, but you can try to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package if you have Vista or Windows 7 is installed. FN keys will be controlled by this tool and the Flash Cards Support utility. Everything you can download here:

  But remove the old tools first. Restart the computer, and then install VAP, then Flash Cards Support utility.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  I need to get the details on your situation.  You say that you want to uninstall XP?  It will be the only way to install another operating system or use a program that will allow you to erase the hard drive.  You mention that you got a virus and you tried to do a restore.

  So my question is what are you trying finally to accomplish?  Do you want to just get a virus on your system or you want to wipe the drive and reinstall XP.
