  Dell support has been useless after several visits there replacement DVD player twice and destroy several Roxio Creator installs.  This problem seems related to a sort of better power management problem that I can determine.

  I'm at Version 8.6 Intel Matrix Storage console well beyond the recommended version to solve this problem.

  Yes, the problem has not reoccured since the installation of the latest Intel Matrix Console now known as Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) v9.6.0.1014.  I ran for ten days with the plague of your Player DVD which disappears and the EventID 9 [qualification] 49156 log records.  It seems to identify iastor.sys with this version of the code as the fixer of the problem and the culprit in earlier versions.  I don't see anything on the Intel site that explains the difficulty.  One would think that they could speak and help those who have the same problem.

  VADC itself automatically corrects the server SSL certificate, but maybe it's the other parts of the Agent posed problems that we see:

  This does not refer to the authentication of the user customer Horizon (which is successful). This authentication is internal within the messaging system.

  Given previous problems with this Setup, I can only suggest you uninstall VADC and Agent, restart, and then reinstall the Agent and the VADC. Don't change video RAM or change the name of host/computer name.

  Let us know if that fixes it.

  The installation of windows vista has been very successful... Thank you!  I did a factory restore... had some conflicts and massive updates to do.  Problem was trying to do updates, especially for pilots, before the accidents that happen.  I managed to do it.  The only questions I could solve just not have been SidebySides mistakes.

In the event log, it says error in manifest or policy file as a component version required by the application in conflict with one another component version already active. The two components are: c: Program Files\Viewer\Microsoft.VC80.CRT.MANIFEST.

  Problems arise when I deleted some files (don't remember which) I am now myself for kicks. Then I completely restored my system with a restore cd, upgrading to vista, downloaded all the updates and everything else works fine only problem is the opening of .exe files. Can someone please help? I'm no computer wiz only right following the indications :)

  I m having problems with my entire system so I'm trying to restore but I have this error.  I have no sound my icons have changed all my security features are disabled and will not not turn on.

  There is much info on this option if you goto http://support.microsoft.com/.  Put in (0 x 81000202) event log system restore error in the search box.  Make sure you spell not restore correctly.  I copied and pasted your title in the search box, and the only thing that came was your article.  Then I noticed the fault of strike.

  For the most part, it is to create a restore point and turn it on.  If you do not have restore points then all of this information will not help your current problem.   What a "Factory Reload" or you have any records to reload it?

  When you say does not illuminate, you hear the security features?  In addition, enter Windows in safe mode to try your restore: which is to hit the "F8" key until Windows starts to load.
